I went to the Caliber Collision, they quoted $4000 and said the car will be 100% fixed and it will take about 1-1.5 weeks. Somebody recommended Texas dent company, so I decided I will check it out. They quoted $350 and said, the car will be 90-95% fixed and it will take half a day. I got estimate on Thu, brought my car back on Sat at 10 am and it was ready at 2 pm the same day. You can still see some scratches, but the guy said, they will check with the paint shop to see if it can be painted and how much it will be. I am sure, if I paid $4K to Caliber Collision, the car would have been as new, but I don't think it would have worth it. For $350, it looks almost like new and I am very happy with it. I hope, I won't hit my car anytime soon, but if I do, I will definitley go bakc.

I first took it to another shop, where they kept it for two days before telling me it was a transmission issue they couldn't repair. The estimate? Around $3,000. For an older vehicle that we plan to hand down to our soon-to-be teenage driver, that was a tough pill to swallow. Thankfully, I decided to try Frisco Automotive through the Old Town Frisco Yiftee program, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was outstanding. The gentleman at the front desk immediately understood my description of the problem and took the time to personally test drive the vehicle. We even ended up having a fun conversation about Ohio and the Cleveland Browns while discussing the symptoms. What impressed me most was that they didn't just accept the previous diagnosis. They investigated the issue themselves and discovered it wasn't the transmission at all. A support mount for the engine had come loose. They repaired it, then personally drove the vehicle again, including taking it up to highway speeds, to verify the hesitation was completely gone. The result? A repair bill under $1,000 instead of a $3,000 transmission replacement. On top of that, they offered transportation assistance, including rides home and back to the shop when the vehicle was ready. That level of service is rare these days. Honest diagnosis, knowledgeable technicians and outstanding customer service.
