I had the customer service rep on the phone while the clerk refused to let me pull out money. The supervisor also refused to give her name or even call the police until the rep said she was gonna report them. She then hit the silent alarm which made about almost 20 police officers approach the bank think it was a robbery. Worst experience I have had in my life. I just got a pre paid card from them and was told all I needed was my state I.d or license.. smh worst experience and racist place I have been. To find out because we was black she was scared.. really talking calm was never asked to leave but had the police bring me out of the bank saying there was a Robbery cal from this building. I discovered Community First Bank of Indiana (CFBI) through their community business development representative, Bonnie Riley. I had the privilege of having Danielle Gaston set up the paperwork for my new account. She was kind and courteous and even allowed me to joke and banter with her. Scott Hammersley, their business/commercial lending specialist, came out and introduced himself and spent time learning about our new business coming to the Westfield area. Later when I was having trouble getting online banking and the mobile app setup, one of the bank's team took my call, walked me through it, and stayed on the phone with me till setup was confirmed. I never felt rushed or hurried, there was a calm, steady tone and constant reminders that I was their priority and they wanted me to be set up and able to use all the resources the bank had for me. I'm grateful for my time at CFBI, and I'm very impressed with the service and resources they have available. I love their approachable and dedicated commitment to our local community.

My phone got hacked along with my finances and my very first payment was less than a dollar short of course by accident the gentleman that called me, let me know that they were going to repo my Chevy tracks if I did not come in immediately and pay them they're $.75. I responded by saying they will take my transportation over $.75 and he said we will take it over one penny.. fast forward to a few months ago I was not able to continue working a government job. I have had for 15 years due to mental illness. I have been paying my payments timely but this month I'm struggling and I was going to use the skip a pay., in the mail today I received a denial letter because of the $.75 issue. For an up-and-coming place the customer service is terrible and I'm not talking about the bank tellers. I'm talking about anything above them. I would highly recommend you look someplace else. Though I was very frustrated with getting what I needed, I would have never made it without Jory's…read morediligence and follow through. My request was very simple; however, I was forced to submit two copies of POAs before my request was honored. It took two weeks to find out I had to send a second copy. I would have never known that if Jory hadn't taken charge. This was an extremely urgent manner and I was getting very anxious but Jory promised he would follow it through and communicate and he did. He was excellent and I am very grateful.
