I went to Mega for one summer during high school for SAT prep. I didn't get anything out of it. My…read morescore was hovering at 1900, but my parents and I wanted me to break 2000 especially since I was taking the PSAT in the fall. After taking the diagnostic, they realized that I only needed improvement in reading comprehension and writing. So they allowed us to not to pay for the full tutoring session. Despite that, I had no improvement. The homework is like any standard packet. What I needed was someone to teach me techniques. Luckily a guidance counselor (I went to BxSci) recommended another prep school to me (my PSAT score was a 190 so no improvement). That helped me get over a 2100 on the SAT. I suggest that parents looking for good prep courses do some research on the schools they pick. Don't look at just the numbers, but the teachers as well. It can make a really big difference.

A benefit of using this location is free parking in the building's underground garage. This second-floor location is comprised of three rooms: - an office for check-in, with small lockers for personal belongings. - the main test room, which has a few aisles of computers and cubicles with privacy walls. Each cubicle is equipped with headphones, to reduce ambient noise. - a unisex bathroom with ADA grab bars. Personal effects -- including phones, wallets, watches, and keys are not permitted in the test room, and must be stored in a locker. As a result, try to bring as little as possible to the test center. I had no issues with this test center. The administrator was polite; the computer, monitor, mouse, headphones, and bathroom were all clean. I would recommend arriving at the test center at least 30 minutes before your exam, to take care of any pre-exam logistics.

Pervez and the owner were extremely condescending, and verbally attacked me because their information is misleading. The ONLY reason I selected this location is because it clearly states "Free Parking" which recently changed according to them. I called the office after being instructed to move my car to see where I should park. Pervez yelled "Move your car before they tow it, park on the street". Understood, but why does your website say its free parking if it isn't? Places like these rely on people being nonchalant when these things should actually be updated instead of being brushed over. People pay a lot of money to take these exams, and the owner makes millions (this is what he told me) off of these contracts with these companies. Then you're rude to me (Pervez) over the phone and don't take accountability of an error? When I get in the office, he again very rudely says "Turn off your phone" which was inside my bag. As I'm turning off my phone I respond to him "You're being very rude". He replies "I'm being rude? You're not taking this exam here." We go back and fourth for about 5 minutes as to why I'm rude lol, and how I cannot take the exam even though I'm on time and complying with the requests. The owner, who I didn't get his name actually sided with him saying he had me on speaker and I was being rude to him in regards to the parking. Sir, your testing site advertises free parking, when in fact it is not. And when I say something about it I'm told I cannot take my exam anymore. The proctor Pervez also told me they didn't care about my service or my voucher which is what I used to schedule the exam through my company. The worst part of it all is they added a case to my appointment stating I REFUSED TO TURN MY PHONE OFF, which was a complete lie. I already filed a complaint with the company I used to schedule the exam. Luckily, the company allowed me to reschedule my exam with the same voucher. I will find out how to file a complaint against that proctor in particular because I've never received such sexism, and racism. Please schedule your exam elsewhere, and good luck!
