As a current staff in the building, children can be difficult and it's hard when we have a lot of children at once but we make it work and make them feel safe throughout the day. We dedicate our time to these students and make sure that they are well taken care of. My child loves going to school and I wouldn't change going anywhere else for her. She had clearly forgotten about the earlier conversations setting the appointment. A hallmark of disorganization. She then proceeded to act inappropriately around the students, her staff, and other parents. This franchise location will be successful if the franchisee develops the skill to (1) get the customer and (2) retain the customer. This franchisee failed to read her company memos or take the company training seriously. She doesn't get it. A consumer complaint has been logged with home office. In speaking with other parents who know of this location, the experience is common across the board. Unprofessional, disorganized, and NOT child-friendly. That is, former students have taken issue with the owner's failure to teach and act appropriately, to not raise her voice, and to be supportive. How many customers have been lost and opportunities missed because of the owner's abject failure to demonstrate simple bedside manners? Save yourself the time and aggravation and avoid this location.

Whether it's having the kids come earlier, leave later, change hours, they are willing to work with the parents. I highly recommend this goddard. He would tell her things like "what don't you understand?", "how many times do I have to tell you this?", "I don't know what to do with you?" These are literally things he said repeatedly to her during the six hours she spent with him. I should mention that he had an extremely thick accent and much of the time she couldn't understand what he was yelling at her and if she asked for clarification, he became angrier. She would come home in tears and and discouraged. The second day she came home with a bloody knuckle from when he grabbed the wheel. While I understand it was accidental and he was trying to avoid an accident, a simple "sorry" or "are you ok?" would have been nice. We are now going to pay for extra lessons with another (calmer, more patient) instructor before her driving test. It was a waste of money and unnecessary aggravation. Speaking to the owner of as also pointless. She was apathetic and unapologetic.

She tells parents the kids need therapy when they are doing normal developmental behaviors. Instead of teaching the behaviors that should be used (ie not hitting, throwing toys) they punish the kids and make the kids feel like they are bad. She calls the parent of the child that got hit to pin the parent against other parents. When the daycare opened, the teachers were great and taught the kids. All those teachers left after the first year the school was opened. Now there is no learning and only playing. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone!

Bloom offers a challenging and motivating curriculum, fun activities that are age appropriate and flexible schedules. We highly recommend Bloom Academy to everyone and anyone. We will be sad to see our daughter graduate this upcoming school year but we will always cherish the moments and memories that Bloom has given us.
