Update: 3x 1-Star reviews within a 2 week period for the same issue. Think twice before choosing this office - service used to be good but it's clearly gone downhill. To the other parents who are having issues - FILE A COMPLAINT with your insurance provider and with the medical board for lack of access to care. Today (Thurs 1/8 - normal business day) was the 4th time within the last year that I was unable to make an appointment for my sick 2 year old because no one would pick up the phone, all day. I sent an email and waited on hold 9 different times for a total of 35 minutes, and no one ever picked up or called me back. No indication the office was closed. This is inexcusable when they're in the business of caring for sick infants and children (if you're closed, let us know so we can find other care?). You can see in my photo, the previous time a month ago I was on hold for 15 minutes before they hung up on me. Once or twice, I give them the benefit of the doubt but 4 time in a year! Business is too good that they don't need your business or care to answer phones anymore. We've changed doctors as of 3 hours ago. read more

My two sons have seen Dr. Khairullah since birth and they are now 4 and 6 years old. From the start, Dr. K has been a straight shooter and very clear with explaining things to us. She listens and takes our concerns seriously and lets us know when we can relax or when we need to continue keeping an eye on something. She's really good with both of our kids, who feel safe and comfortable in her care. She has a good sense of humor too! We have always come to Dr. Khairullah for our sons' health needs because we trust her and know she has the kids' best interests in mind. read more

Due to our insurance plan, we recently had to change pediatricians. We were so happy to become patients of Huntington Plaza Pediatrics. My daughter has seen Dr Khairullah or "Dr. K" three times and really liked her. Dr K is very caring and knows how to talk with and listen to a teenager! While she was on vacation, we had good follow-up calls with Dr Rivera about lab results. I have also had a positive interaction with the third pediatrician, Dr Wollaston, who is warm and caring too. And the new nurse Molly, who is so knowledgeable and caring as well. Finally, I want to give a huge shout out to Lisa, who helps to answer phones. She is such an asset to the practice because she listens to the parents calling in about questions or issues, writes down detailed messages (and repeats back to ensure accuracy), and problem solves while reassuring that the parent will receive a call back from the provider or a nurse. Depending on the urgency, I have received a call back within 1 to 3 hrs. Everyone in the practice takes pride in working there and taking care of their patients with a positive attitude, from the ladies who answer the phones to the Medical Assistants or RNs who check the vitals, to all three of the pediatricians. read more

HPPG is the BEST! All 3 of my children have been patient with Dr. River from day one, I couldn't ask for more! The staff in the front desk is so friendly, professional, and caring. As a first time mom, I was incredibly nervous about my baby's vaccines, but Diana made the entire experience so much easier. She was easygoing, compassionate, and extremely informative. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly, which gave me so much peace of mind and helped calm my worries. What truly stood out was that she personally called me afterward to check on how my daughter was doing after her vaccines. That level of care meant the world to me. You can tell she goes above and beyond for her patients and families. Her kindness, knowledge, and genuine concern make her truly one of a kind. My kids have been patients here for 7 years and this is the first year we're having major issues getting anyone to pick up the phone, return our messages, respond to our online requests for appointments. It's actually crazy and I'm not sure what's going on over there. Every time I call I'm on hold for 15+ minutes in a queue before being sent to voicemail where my messages are never returned. We are literally only trying to make our annual appointment. Very sad that we may have to find new doctors after all this time. read more

I love our doctor, Francisco Rivera! He is so kind, knowledgeable and really takes his time with our boys! He answers all of our questions too (which are many!) and explains things so well. He talks to the kids directly which is good because then they'll "listen" to the doctor instead of us. We never feel rushed and we also like the office. Spacious and clean. I honestly wouldn't recommend this clinic. I took my son for a little over a year before switching to another pediatrician. My son is pretty healthy so we went in for check ups and one mystery illness. The reception clerks are great and very helpful. We saw Dr. Rivera. He was okay but dismissive of any concerns brought forward by parents. When we were trying to figure out the mystery illness, we saw a NP and Dr. K. Both were not helpful and dismissive as well. Finally after multiple visits, Dr. Rivera finally saw my son and reluctantly ordered labs. It turns out my son needed antibiotics the whole time. I called the after hours phone line once and the provider that answered sounded shocked to be receiving a call and sounded angry in his response. I chose this place based on its positive reviews so I decided I should leave an honest one. read more

We have been seeing Dr Rivera since my daughter was born and he's so wonderful with kids, very knowledgeable and helpful. The staff has always been very kind at HPPG. Only complaint is not being able to go for drop-in appts so we've had to go to urgent care when our daughter had her first fever etc. But I recommend calling the office to discuss symptoms with nurses etc and they can be helpful. read more

We have been coming to this office for over 19 years. Our experience has always been positive, we drive over 13 miles to this clinic. They've seen our children grow and have helped us navigate parenthood. Dr Sharon Wollaston is such kind, patient and caring physician. She takes her time to explain in detail and answer questions without ever making us feel rushed. She explains things to the children and has always supported our informed consent. Thankful to have access to such good doctors and staff here. My child has been with Dr Wollaston since birth and you can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. Appointments are not rushed and she has gone above and beyond to follow up on open issues. We've also seen Dr Rivera and Dr Khairullah for sick visits and both are fantastic as well. The nurses are great with kids and I've learned lots of helpful tips from them over the years. Scheduling is easy by phone and they always manage to squeeze us in for sick visits. I do wish online scheduling is available on the portal but not a big deal. Overall a well run office and the high reviews speak for itself. read more
