EDIT: thank you so much for reaching out and correcting this! Hopefully things are improving. While we adore the doctor- I have had it with the front office/receptionist. We are switching pediatricians because of it. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone to make an appointment or ask about an appointment/ meds etc. their hold machine goes for 15 min before it goes to voicemail. Then no one must check the voicemail because I've never gotten a call back. I've literally been on hold for 2 hours total yesterday, and going on a half an hour today plus a voicemail. All to make an appointment because my newborn is having diarrhea. read more

I am in the medical field and tend to be very critical with physicians in general. Most of my medical recommendations (referrals) come from friends that are respected doctors in their field. I can confidently say that Dr. Rungsima is pretty amazing! Upon first meeting her my impression was critical because I thought she was seemingly very reserved and aloof. However, I stand corrected!! Dr. Rungsima is a very knowledgeable and attentive doctor! Beneath her reserve demeanor is a passionate resolve to assist your child toward wellness. Need her after hours? Done! Dr. Rungsima herself or another pediatrician on call will get back to you ASAP. That is very reassuring especially when your child is sick or you have a newborn. Most importantly, I believe she is compassionate and detail oriented. And she will listen to your concerns. When I feel dismissed or not listened to, nothing bothers me more as a mom. I just saw her 2 hours ago and am so happy to have seen her! My son had struggled with eczema since he was a baby. His skin has worsened and the doctor I would see at this office would only prescribe steroids and sometimes I would feel a bit rushed.(I forgot his name) I saw her and she listened to all of my concerns and suggested what I should do and made me feel at ease about my sons skin. She even gave me some samples and something to read about eczema! That's a first :) Overall, I'm so happy with my visit today and I'm so happy I finally have found someone that doesn't just want to prescribe steroids, and actually gave me some useful suggestions. Finally, after a year with dr "Frend" who really should change his name. He didnt even show up at hospital because it was his day off... anyway, Gitte bloom was great for about a year but then, try getting an appointment... and the front office was a rude mess. 3rd times a charm, I'm happy to report Dr Rungsima was able to see us the same week I called! Her office was big, bright and not crowded for once. She had time and patience and double checked alot of measurements, asked questions. My son has been with Dr. Rungsima since the day he was born. All I can say about Dr. Rungsima is that she is an amazing pediatrician which is hard to find these days. She is super patient and so loving. I always have a good experience with Dr. and I also want to acknowledge her assistant (I forgot her name but when I find out I will mention her in this review) she's so gentle every time she gives my son his shots and super sweet as well. Dr Rung is very caring and easy to talk to. She gave really good recommendation for medication to calm the little one's skin irritation and eczema which has been our concern for the past few months. Finally found a great pediatrician for my twins. After our old DR retired, we struggled to find a DR for at least 8 months. Every DR we saw after were all typical routine DR's that had no care or concerns, at least that's what it felt like. I was referred to Dr. Rungsima by my older cousin. She was very warm, knowledgeable, caring and most of all SUPER FUNNY!!!! (Great sense of humor) and recommended some great thai restaurants. We knew she was DR for our twins going forward. Thanks DR.
