(One of the reasons they aren't a 1 or 2 star) Strike 2: Today, our 2nd time there, they didn't store any of the insurance information from our 1st visit (same patient as last time), so I had to go pick up my wife with the correct information card and bring it in. This information should have been saved the last time we were there. I shouldn't have to bring in the same insurance information every time I need to fill a prescription. Needless to say what a hassle. Let's hope there is no strike 3 as the review will get alerted further negatively and our family's business will be lost for quite a while.

Ok. So I was lured in by a discount, who isn't?…read more Because I think I know what what's what with my feet, I gave my usual requests of something wide and around a size 9. That's when I went down the Minnesota Treads, aka MN Treads on their storefront, rabbit hole. Have you ever stepped on a thermal sensor? Obviously not this guy. I then went down the path of plantar fasciitis(I'm a survivor) 101 and learning that what I've been shopping for in a shoe may be incorrect. I tried on some types and ended up walking out of there with a brand new pair of Topos. And guess what? I'm a size 10! Wow! Getting that comfort in the heal but also that added lift in the arch part of my foot is a game changer. Plus I got a pair of a socks from Adam Turman. Honestly a pretty awesome store. Other assorted clothing and shoes (see pics) and If you're in the area, it is a place worth checking out.

I think if I had a shop like this in my area, I would probably more seriously consider taking up quilting! The shop is laid out in a pleasing way, with a good variety of fabrics and many beautiful samples of quilts hanging on the walls and also smaller samples at eye level near the fabrics. They had a bunch of books and patterns to peruse (including some regular sewing patterns for like little bags and things), and most impressively, there were banks of quilting machines that I am guessing may be used by the shop customers, including a couple of really large quilting machines! There were customers using the big machines while I was there, which was really cool. The shop ladies seemed really nice as well, and thankfully not hover-y. I will definitely try to stop by again next time I'm in Rochester! Hopefully I will have some projects in mind that I don't yet have a fabric for by then.
