A large (expensive) version of the Nacella rug comes with dozens of spots where ends of braids are joined in order to continue with the weave (not very attractive but acceptable). After some time, though, just over a year, the adhesive used to hold these braid ends together turns dark brown, almost black and looks, in dozens of places, like dirt literally. I bought rug insurance from EA that sadly doesn't cover a manufacturer defect that came to light after the manufacturer's 1 year warranty expired. (It covers only accidents.) I'm very disappointed that Ethan Allen didn't even try to stand by its product, and that my 'heirloom' rug is so flawed.

They came and cleaned my carpet and did NOT clean under the bed even though I specifically made…read moresure to remove everything to make sure the job would be done. My fault for not double checking before the left even after I asked but I guess I still trust service providers to do what they claim the do and have done to do just that. I didn't want to walk on the carpet but I asked if (pointing up the stairs to the bedroom I referred to) that room's carpet had been cleaned under the bed. The tech replied he did as far as he could. I took that to mean he didn't reach the wall the bed was next to. When O checked later, that meant he only went about three inches under. I know the equipment is able to go all the way under the bed. The room is 14 x14 so he had enough room to get a good angle from a couple of directions but they didn't avoid trying to sell the scotch guard. We've used them for over 25 years . And they usually do an amazing job but this time was just "okay". Thinking about getting the competition next time. Used them a couple of times and they aren't any worse than this company. The pricing is decent but not a bargain for a "meh" job.

My biggest pet peeve is when people (maintenance, plumbers, etc.) put on booties, then go outside to get something and come back in with the same pair, or reuse booties they used at other homes. I was at first worried, but they redid any spots they might have stepped on without me even asking and worked their way out of the house to limit stepping in spots they already did, which tells me they are attentive and actually serious about cleaning!
