The problem I have is they use the same truck that was sent. If a different truck wasn't sent to tow my delivery vehicle why was I charged a double from what I was quoted? My driver did say it was an Isuzu box truck 350 with cab over engine. Don't know how you can get that mixed up. Just think they're very dishonest.

So I decided to go it alone and chose A Vargas. I pull in and ask for an estimate. Instead Alex says the bumper is just loose (no damage) and everything looks fine. He then snaps it back it place. Problem solved. Alex wouldn't accept a payment! He said "it was easy" and I told him it was his expertise and availability to quickly help me that was worth money. The tab on the sealed headlamp was also broken where it attaches to the frame, and they filled that gap with some epoxy so the light would not conk out. If I had gotten insurance involved, I could see this costing several grand for replacing everything. While waiting, I could see that they did beautiful paint work--so smooth and glossy. I will be happy to return when necessary! The shop is next to the high school baseball field where Carrollton Boosters used to be (I guess this dates me)--on Olive before Joliet. He allowed me to order my own parts from eBay and bring it in! I love that I can shop for my own parts and bring it in. It took his team about 20 mins to change the motor! Hourly rate i believe minimally is $50/hr. Whereas other places didn't allow me to bring my part in and charged me ridiculous labor cost. I'm sooo glad we found a place we can trust with our vehicles. Next time you need a body shop, try giving Edward a call! He's super nice!
