(Note my FIRST review was a year ago, AUGUST 2019, somehow it didn't post then & it seems like the post was created Jan 2021) Soooooo here we go again, 2021 and I am in need of a TOW and I have to call on my roadside assistance service to get this towing party started. Ring-a-ling... I'm calling!!! To my great pleasure, the call was dispatched to AFFORDABLE TOWING. I received ONE update from the roadside assistance company about the towing service that was dispatched and the rest of the communication was regarding the time the towing company would arrive. The ETA was 119 minutes, I can appreciate that and TRAVIS was johnny on the spot in that timeframe. He was polite, yes ma'am, no ma'am, gotta love that SOUTHERN CHARM. He advised me of what was going to happen and he proceeded to make it do-what-it-do!!! My vehicle was loaded onto the bed & off he went with my baby to the repair shop of my choosing. ANNNNNNDDDDDD a bonus was that, 15-20 mins later, he called to say the vehicle was delivered, the eagle had landed!!!! WooooHoooo NEVER HAVE I HAD A TOWING COMPANY to advise of the delivery; I was ecstatic at this extra effort I was afforded. This took so much worry off my mind. Because it was a job associated with my roadside assistance company, I didn't have to worry about fees, this was a plus. Travis was friendly, had a spirit of service, and went out of his way to help. Set a timeframe with which he would be able to get to me, communicated when he was en route, and was quickly available. Travis knows cars and was quickly able to diagnose I had a battery issue and gave me a charge to get started. Made a recommendation on a mechanic and stayed nearby until I reached their shop to ensure I made it. If you end up in a position where you need help, I would highly recommend Travis. read more

My car was broken down on the I10. I waited for 2 hours to hear back from a tow company I had used before. I was able to move it to a residential area before a family member gave me a ride home. I called Travis from my home and told him the rather long story. He was so kind and patient. He met my son who took an uber to the car and towed it to my mechanic. It was amazing how kind and thoughtful he was. I later found out that he had been attacked by wasps and had multiple stings on his face and you would never had known he was having a bad too. Called these guys for a tow from Algiers to Belle Chasse. Picked up on the first ring, the cat I spoke to was really friendly but professional, and was on the road before we finished the car. A bit of a hassle on my end because the car was in a gated complex and I wasn't going to be present - no problem. I was a little worried about whether my daughter could manage getting her car towed in uptown New Orleans by herself but trusted the reviews here. I can confirm that Affordable towing is quick and reliable. Travis showed up when he said he would and had the car loaded up in no time according to my daughter (he beat me there).
