Their California agent Christina Felix is very unprofessional and only thing she did was stressing out the costumer , when we sign the contract she was very pushy and didn't explain clear enough. We agreed the seller stay in the property with 3 week rent back, but agent told them it's free without being clear to us , which on the contract shows as blank , which does not mean $0- and she later claims something on the contract says " licensed fee $0" means rent back free. They are using undirected term to trick people who doesn't understand the actual meanings. After we complain to the Flyhomes , they said they can't cover our loss, and not responsible for the mistake, and they start asking us if we want to back out the offer ( that way they can take our earnest money and buy the house , resale it, then make profit out of it ) we are beyond annoyed and very frustrated because we are in the middle of buying this house , we love the property, but Flyhome is just very unprofessional, and has no idea what they are doing, miscommunication with lender ,buyer , seller , ..etc . If you have a neighbor that has developed an extraordinarily deep and abiding affection for the scrub pines where a new house is destined to be, well, maybe you could consult a tree priest to help them transplant the soul of their beloved conifers into a nearby perennial or a stand of bamboo. It worked in Avatar so it might work for you.* With true love anything is possible. Disclaimer* This only worked once and it was for an 8' blue alien that happened to be in love with a paraplegic Marine. Also it was in a movie. Do what your conscience requires and if need be plant extra hardwood trees to control erosion and salve your conscience. Go wild with your green thumb. As it is they left sturdy trees where they could, cleared the scrub, and left very large level lots that drain well and appear to have stable soil(which is almost unheard of for our area). **UPDATE on the soil** The sod that they used on our homes is not holding up well and has very high clay content that means certain areas that don't want to drain. Most of it drains, but there are spots that are constantly wet. We are working with Merit now to do something about it. I will update this space. **END UPDATE The houses trend toward contemporary, but have cool little details that I haven't seen in other builder's houses. Details like AC outlets in the eaves up near the roof lines so you can put up your Christmas lights. Real wood doors and stair cases that have actual stain on them. LED or fluorescent lights to save power and last for years. High ceilings on both the lower AND upper floors. CAT5E wiring that terminates into low voltage panels that are well organized. Power panels that have a few slots left in case you want to put in an electric car charger or lift in your garage. Gravel or stone paths from all exterior side doors to keep dirt out. 4000PSI concrete with fibers for strength. 2x6 exterior studs all the way around to have plenty of depth for insulation. It is the little details that make a home livable and they did a good job leaving flexibility for us as home owners. There are little hobgoblins that have to chased down (some of the stone on our fireplace had to be reseated because it was set in a low temperature adhesive that dripped), but they quickly came in and replaced it. Average response time is about a day or two and their folks are quick to take off their shoes to keep things clean. I have only owned our house for a few weeks thus far, but I can say it has been my best new house purchasing experience. I'll reserve judgment and retain the right to update this review in case my house slides off into Lake Washington or the spirit of dead raccoons invade my TV. Best Regards, -BH

Gil did an amazing project helping to get the bathroom remodel and new skylight that I really changed everything in this small bathroom. Gil did the extra mile for me every time I asked him to come he always been here on time. Very hard working man. I remember one night I sent him home at 10PM. Gil came to replace my faucet and didn't what to charge me anything. You don't get this service out there no more. I will definitely hire him for my few future projects. I highly recommend.

We do not recommend your home builders. Firstly, our price increased 50% from the original quote…read more Secondly, we were strongly encouraged to not get permits by the owner Gil. Thankfully we went against his recommendations, because his team knew nothing anything about plumbing or electrical codes. We failed multiple inspections on both and had to change our plans throughout. Next, his team never came. They only arrived after noon. Some days they would come for 15 minutes and leave. When they did come, they often 'went to Home Depot' and would return 4-5 hours later or never return. They also spit on our floors and had no respect for our house. The team who did 90% of the work also quit at the end of the project. Gil did nothing but evade questions or even complain about his own workers but do nothing about it. His worker who quit also openly complained about him not paying them. At one point, we went 5 days with zero contact from Gil only to reach out to him and have him reply that we were ready to schedule an inspection, which could have been scheduled an entire week prior had we known. After passing our final inspection, we had to wait two weeks for someone to come to finish the job. The original team built our walls at an angle, requiring them to tear down a tiled and completed shower to redo. Our ceiling is left slanted. They also didn't insulate any of the walls, which was only partially fixed on the wall the second contractor tore down, yet we paid for it all. We were told an estimate of 2 months and the job took almost 8 months mainly due to his people working on other jobs and poor communication from Gil. You will have to be on top of everything and keep a list of things they promise, or they will be forgotten. Unless you reach out to Gil, he will never reach out to you. The final job itself was good, but the process was painful.

Some approaches were against my specific instructions not to, and new problems have developed as a result. They say they can't fix the problems because the approach they used makes it impossible to fix without ripping off the entire job. (yeah, I told them that beforehand). Some repairs were done grossly improperly per two other contractors. One repair was so jury-rigged as to be laughable. It had to be redone. One of the major items failed immediately and now requires frequent maintenance--the very thing I was trying to eliminate. They have refused to remedy these problems per the required WA contractor warranty. The bill I got was very general (not itemized and billed per item), and was a lot more than expected. After getting additional info, I determined they had charged me some $700+ for things I did not hire them to do. When I challenged this part of the bill (paying the rest before the problems became apparent), I was told that I had been profiled as a senior citizen and that most of their older clients thank them for doing these unrequested "extras" (obviously they don't realize they were billed for them). In short, profiling and over-billing is a conscious decision they make. They have never argued any of these issues (except getting paid for bogus work), just refuse to fix. Be aware this is a family operation--everyone on the crew is related.
