I love that all the people that work there are townies, and the cashiers are generally SSP Packer High School students. I'm grateful for Knowlans for being the place I can run to quickly for that last minute ingredient or item. However, Knowlan's is rarely a place I go to when I need to do my weekly grocery shopping. The lack of variety and hit-or-miss or hard to find produce usually drives me regrettably to Cub or Rainbow.

So I put my stuff back and headed to the freezer aisle at Publix. With a BOGO on Simek's meatballs, it was super easy to grab two (huge) bags of meatballs and head home. With the pasta and some Rao's marinara sauce, a half dozen of Simek's meatballs and a healthy portion of fresh grated cheese, my craving was solved. These are bite sized, flavorful and delicious! I have a bag and a half remaining and while my craving is sated (for now), I'm looking forward to a repeat. Or maybe I'll get a sub roll and make a meatball sub. Can't wait!
