The prepared food is what gets me here. Everything is so good! It can be pricey but a really good meal if you are in a hurry. Easy to grab and go. We wanted a snack for our girls day and nothing sounded good so we stopped by and had a quick lunch here. So nice there are tables outside so you can enjoy your food too. I will say, the deli counter & the sushi counter are great. The hot food bar & salad bar not so great. This location seems to be more of a mess than others. The salad bar is always low on most ingredients & the hot food never looks fresh. Maybe the salad bar gets more customers than the hot food? The taco bar meat is not appealing either. I prefer other locations over this one when it comes to the fresh food options.

I love that all the people that work there are townies, and the cashiers are generally SSP Packer High School students. I'm grateful for Knowlans for being the place I can run to quickly for that last minute ingredient or item. However, Knowlan's is rarely a place I go to when I need to do my weekly grocery shopping. The lack of variety and hit-or-miss or hard to find produce usually drives me regrettably to Cub or Rainbow.

While customer service here is usually friendly, speed and efficiency are not their strong points. There will be one checkout open and three or four employees just milling around, even if the line is several people long. Sell more produce and less packaged, processed crap!

It's a popular place, so it can be busy. This, combined with some slightly narrow aisles, can make it feel quite crowded, but it's easy to navigate, so it's still efficient. Check-out is usually pretty quick, too. Add in plenty of parking, and you get a very convenient shopping experience.

Walgreens was consistently out of stock, had extremely long wait times, didn't answer the phone, offered rude or unhelpful customer service, and made refunds nearly impossible. Hy-Vee is the complete opposite in every way. Hy-Vee is always in stock, or they will have the medication later the same day or early the next morning. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and helpful every single time. There has never once been a line in the drive-thru when I've gone to pick up medication. If I need an early refill, they handle everything themselves -- they call the insurance, work it out quickly, and within about 15 minutes the medication is filled and ready for pickup. No stress, no runaround. I once asked if my son's medication could be put in a bottle that's easier to use with a syringe. They not only did it, they noted it on my account -- and they have done it correctly every single time since without me needing to ask again. That level of care is rare. Their free same-day delivery is exactly that -- same day, every time. I've never had a single issue that they couldn't fix or resolve, and they truly go above and beyond. They also have the best medication bottles of any pharmacy I've ever used. Hy-Vee Pharmacy has completely changed my expectations of what a pharmacy should be. I would never go anywhere else.

I used to think of Trader Joe's as a more upper-middle class grocer, but not anymore. Everything (with the exception of meat and milk) is very affordable. That said, their shopping experience remains the same high-quality, enjoyable experience, with aisles of yummy options to browse, especially with the rotating seasonal options and new offerings. I've been here several times since moving to Eagan, and I've always encountered friendly employees. The checkout always moves quickly and efficiently. I also love grabbing some free stickers and coloring pages on my way out; it's like a little dopamine burst for my inner child! There are restrooms available to shoppers. They are gender-neutral, which is awesome for a trans guy like me. The bathroom walls are decorated with fun paintings much like the rest of the inside. They are also spacious and clean. Occasionally I have spotted a local food truck parked nearby, serving unique offerings. Once I got to snag some apple cider donuts that way, hehe. The only thing that's a negative about this place is that the parking lot (shared with the movie theatre) is smallish and has a weird layout, so navigating that can be quite challenging. Thankfully I usually walk! But even so, I have to watch out crossing because the cars aren't paying attention to pedestrians!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS LOCATION!…read more Anytime you need some help 95% of the employees just look at you with the stink eye and ignore you like you just ran over their dog. About a month ago my mother went into this location to pick up a few items and she proceeded to use self checkout system. It was like total $45 and some change. She then walked towards the exit and was stopped by security who then forcefully grabbed her and forced her down to the ground and put his weight on her. She's nearing 70 years old. She has to park in Handicap for god's sake. I later found out that they then were going to try to charge her for shoplifting. They even had a restriction from property paper ready to go. Turns out that all of this is because their self checkout failed to scan 2 different items. When she ran the items over the scanner it made a beep sound, but the system was running so slow it didn't add it to the list of checked out items. Upon being taken to the back and waiting for a Police Officer to come, they still wanted to press charges even though none of it was any of her fault. What she described to me was that the Police Officer was reviewing the security footage and seen her scan the items and that the management of this location said that "She should have seen the items weren't checked out." and were determined to press charges. The Officer ended up writing a Citation paper. Not one single employee or anyone in management even bothered to consider that their self checkout system wasn't working properly. THIS PLACE IS A HELL HOLE AND THIS ENTIRE MANAGEMENT TEAM NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!
