Have been eating here for over a decade. Always our favorite spot! Food is always good and quick! We love the general tso with lo mein, sweet and sour pork and eggrolls. Highly recommend. Some people consider the workers rude, but I have never once encountered that. I highly believe people are taking the language barrier as coming across as rude, but the workers intentions couldn't be more genuine. We have never once had a bad meal, and have eaten Chinese food in over 30 countries.....Hut Wok is still toward the top of our list! read more

Ordered hot and sour soup - was sour only, no meat in it. Egg drop had virtually zero flavor and loads of corn starch. Pork fried rice looked like a regular order of fried rice. Hunan beef had three times more veg than beef. Moo Goo Gai Pan was more veg than anything as well but I like mushrooms so we got lucky there. It's a typical small Chinese location to basically pick up food. There is seating but it's not a restaurant feel. The is always cooked fresh and very good but do not mistaken this place for "Hot wok" because this place is by far better than them. I ordered on waitr tonight thinking I was ordering from her but ended up being "Hot Wok", big mistake! Anyway, give this place a try, you won't be sorry. read more

For quick Chinese food, Hut Wok is pretty good. We have been eating here for years and the food is consistent. I also like that they are open to substitutions. I order combination plates and sub pork fried rice and pork egg rolls for shrimp rolls and vegetable rice. It's an up charge but I appreciate that they will do substitutions. The food is always hot and normally takes about 15 minutes to be ready. read more

Online prices have not been updated in 5 YEARS according to one of the employees. All prices listed online are inaccurate. All updated prices are DOUBLED which is only known by receiving a paper menu IN STORE. Our food, according to online prices, was supposed to cost $47.50, plus tax, total of $52.25. However, when I went to pay for my Togo order, the total was actually $78.35, plus tax, total of $85.36. Extremely unprofessional and the food is mediocre at best. Def not worth the price. read more

"Chinese" food at its best. I ordered vegetable lo mein and broccoli with snow peas. One pint of each- enough to feed two people. I always go in and order but you can call ahead to pick up. Of course you can get better takeout other places, but this place is quick, clean, and easy. Lack of star is due to the heavy accents. My favorite Chinese takeout place was closed on Sunday so I had to venture a bit further out. Unfortunately, that wasn't the only problem. The food here is just not good and in no way compares to my favorite place closer to home. The pork and snow peas tasted freezer burnt, the fried rice was flavorless, and my mandarin chicken was unlike anything I'd seen before. It was panko breaded pieces and parts of chicken (that's the best way I can describe it!) that was then fried and had no sauce on it whatsoever. I was way confused. Not to mention, the egg drop soup was extremely bland. The lady at the counter was very nice, but their food needs lots and lots of work. I think I'll stick to my favorite place on highway 44 from here on out. read more

There was a staple in my Lo Mein. I've never really cared for this place, but we didn't feel like going to Dutchtown to our usual spot, so we ordered from here. Eating left overs, and I found a staple in my food. I examined the box, to make sure it didn't come from it. It couldn't have, because the boxes they use are folded and tucked into place. We love Hut Wok and get it once a month. She has never let us down. Always delicious, always correct, and always fast.

The wait is Interminable. You have to wait in line even if you called in your food an hour ago. Whoever is at the front of the line stands there until there food is done. Then, the next person gets to stand and wait for their food. I've never before seen such an inefficient and not so friendly staff. For a strip mall takeout Chinese food place, it's actually decent. Granted, you will not have a 5 star dining experience here, but for about what you pay for a takeout pizza, you can get a meal that you probably will have enough leftover for lunch the next day. I know right now with the covid and restaurant's that have been closed could be the reasoning behind this but restaurants must still make sure they are not serving anything to someone that could get them sick and that's what happened to me. I got food poison and I'm pretty it was here because while eating it I could tell something wasn't right with the taste. The fried rice was stale and horrible.
