New fan! I was craving Chinese so I stopped by this place for the first time on my way home from work. The lady that helped me could not have been sweeter. The food was SO GOOD! I got sweet and sour chicken which you would think is hard to screw up, but some other local places have gotten it very wrong recently. I went to this place for something simple, CHICKEN FRIED RICE‍. When I tell you it had literally has no season, the chicken was completely white. It tasted like straight freezer. When I talk to the lady behind the counter, I expressed I wanted a chicken fried rice with plenty of seasoning, and she said she'll take care of it. Good fast food Chinese for take out or delivery. I used GrubHub to order a couple items, Szechuan shrimp and dumplings. Having visited a few times, I have to say this is the best fast food Chinese restaurant in the area. Flavor is what you would expect from a Chinese restaurant, Unfortunately, several other of their competitors are just terrible. From my few visits here, the lady at the cash register is very nice and I've never had them mess up my order. Unlike other places I've been to. Recommendation: Well, not sure I could say this is really a recommendation, but in the small handful of times i've been here, a couple times I was there eating, they'd have some strange character coming in. People were either on drugs or felt like they were looking for a fight. One got extremely mad because they couldn't just walk in and use the bathroom. Unfortunately, you can't change the area where you conduct business. Honestly wish they moved closer to where I live, the two places near me are terrible. Hmm.. I'm conflicted about this place. I love their chicken fried rice... well, I love the rice. The chicken has a funny taste to me even in other plates. My son said the after taste is like shampoo. The chicken on a stick is horrible!! It's so bad that my chihuahua wouldn't eat it which is not good at all. I hate writing a bad review because I would still order the fried rice. I impulsively stopped bc I wanted an egg roll what a mistake. This place is old, run down, and dirty. The girl who was handling payment turned around and grabbed eggs rolls that were unwrapped out of the fridge and tossed them in the fryer. She neither washed her hands before or after. It's a small dark dining room. Idk why anyone would chose to eat inside that establishment after 10 min my egg rolls were ready. As I suspected they were awful. The crust was hard and dry and separating from the dried out second layer of cabbage? Party dough? Cardboard? Idk what that was. After gnashing my through what should have been a light and flakey crust I got to a dried, flavorless, wad of what appeared to be cabbage and bacon bits. I have never had such bad egg rolls ever. This was the worst egg roll experience ever and the staff is not happy to be there. Prob bc it's so small, dark, and dirty. Also some lady in flannel wreaked of pipe tobacco stood way too close to me. I almost stopped breathing. During which time she almost hit me in the face with a purse that was shredding apart. Never seen anything like it. I know they can't control their customer odor but I think You can learn about the food based on its patrons. And if you smoke anything enuff to spoil the air everywhere you go, your taste buds have left your mouth. This place needs to clean the place from top to bottom, paint the walls and furniture, get rid of the tape holding things together and take some hygiene education with a customer service course and get rid of the gross kids toy bins that are holding soy sauce fish sauce and mustard. Little hole in the wall...just wanted to get some nibbles for the LSU game....outstanding egg rolls...the crab Rangoon and fried wanton were delicious!! Will definitely be back to try some entrees. Only drawback like with most of these little places is they do not have hot mustard except in the little packets. read more

I have been coming here almost every week with my neighbor and the foods taste decent. The Singapore Mai Fun and Curry Beef are two of my favorites and we are still trying different items. The only small issue I have is that the pictures on the wall do not necessarily represent the food they make. One example is they use fried chicken on kung pao chicken dish while the picture does not. The taste is still good, though. read more

Will never return. Have had several bad experiences, such as being told the wrong time for closing, but the last is when they gave us the wrong food and argued whether it was right or not. Finally conceded that triple delight does not have tofu but still would not give proper chow mein with noodles. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! My husband and I ordered take out here and was expecting great food after all the great reviews. We ordered sesame chicken, orange chicken, fried rice, crab wontons, and the pork egg rolls. The entrees were not good. The chicken tastes rubbery and old. I couldn't even eat mine. The fried rice is made with yellow rice and has no egg. The only thing we enjoyed were the crab wontons. Tastes like home! I have been craving authentic Chinese food for a while now since I moved here and Chinese buffets just doesn't curb it for me. I can't believe it took me so long to find this gem! The Singapore Chow Mai Fun (translation: Singapore style stir fried rice noodles with shrimp and chicken) was exactly as I remembered - amazing! The owner is quite friendly. I believe the food is made fresh since it's not your regular order-and-scoop-from-pre-made-dishes style that a lot of Chinese places operate with.
