This is a scam business! The owner negotiated a price with me and then sent me a proposal with a different company name. When I explained that Yelp wouldn't offer their insurance policy given the names didn't match, he said he couldn't put the Aktobe name on his proposal, with no reason given. He's obviously trying to keep his YELP advertising clean, while not avoiding responsibility by using a different company name in his contracts. Avoid!! His earlier appointment canceled, he messaged me and told me he can arrive within 30min. Same day. Sam was able to trouble shoot unit. He found the problem and corrected it. Sam came on really short notice to get me out of a central AC jam on really short notice in the middle of 90 degree weather/ hell. My condensate pump was a mess and whomever installed it, did not do a good job with the piping. Sam re-plumbed the drain and used a common-sense approach to the drainage to ensure it wouldn't backup again. He also inspected my coil and realized that it needed a cleaning and charged a reasonable price. Would highly recommend him. Overall his initial service fee was among the most reasonable of the 3 or 4 estimates I got. read more

I had a brand new HVAC installed for my gut renovation by a different company and it didn't work. I had at least 6 other companies come give me an estimate to fix it in the height of high season during the summer. Every company gave me astronomical quotes and even one said I needed an entire new system for $70k! Sam from Aktobe was the only one who didn't try to take advantage of my desperation and told me the truth - the original job was a bad one but there is probably just a leak. Sure enough, he found the leak and fixed it for a fraction of a new system. His work has a one year guarantee. He recommended I contact him before the next summer season to ensure there's no other leaks since it was difficult to tell whether the pressure was slowly declining due to cold weather (I ended up waiting until after high season to get it fixed) or another leak. I contacted him in March and he came out the next day. Sure enough, there was no Freon in the system which implied theres another leak - well he found another one in a different area and fixed it for free since his labor was still under warranty. He even said the warranty is now one year from March! I want to make it clear that the leaks were due to a different company and not Sam - Sam was the one who found and fixed them when others couldn't. Not only is Sam and his company great at what they do, but he is honest, ethical, responsive, and a man of his word! I will recommend him to everyone I know read more

I called him about one of our mini-split units which was giving us some issues, and he came out the very next day (despite the fact that it wasn't an emergency), gave it a once-over, explained our issues in detail and gave BOTH of our mini-split units a cleaning. Usually, I will get 2 out of the 4, or amazingly 3. Aktobe passed with a full 4/4! Sam quoted me fair price initially for an inspection, the lowest I received from anyone. After that, he called prior to coming to my home to let me know he was coming. He showed up on time as he stated and was ready to go! He took his time and carefully examined my system to find the best possible solution. The problem was a tricky one, and he found out what it was. He not only expressed what the problem was, but took videos and pictures to show me what it was and then took the time to explain what was happening step by step. Most businesses will just tell you this is how much and throw a bunch of lingo at you that will make your head spin.
