He's very savvy and was able to track down exactly the right missing parts for the existing systems, including an obscure rubber gasket, a vendor-compatible sink aerator, and a specialty screw. He also added a recirculation pump and an extra hot water heater in our basement, and configured it alongside the existing one in a way that works beautifully for the house. After the repair, Emmanuel tested the steam radiator and it had a leak but he quickly resolved it. The work was done well because previously the radiators were loud due to the incorrect pitching. I hate unresponsive businesses or businesses that take on stuff that they're not actually knowledgeable about but Jay and his team do honest work, they're knowledgeable, and responsive. I called Jay on one of the coldest 3 days we had in NY, I'd awaken to no hot water running . Jay responded quickly and was honest FIRST PLUS he said his team were servicing homes but I wouldn't be forgotten. I had a 5 year old hot water heater go out suddenly on me that really only required it to be reset and restarted. I explained the situation to J, I was out of town and it could have been a simple restart up to a part replacement. I will say that he did answer and talked through the problem. The fee's that he quoted (without even seeing the job) were OUTRAGEOUS. The conversation went like this... send me some pictures, I'll give you a price range and if you like it, I'll make an appointment. Starts at $200 for a 5 minute restart, and up to $500 for a simple part replacement. I went on Yelp looking for a reputable company to help relieve my slow bath tub water drain. After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to give Jay a call. Spoke to Jay for about 10 mins describing my problem with needing a snake drain on my bathtub. He was very patient and informative over the phone. He along with his helper was prompt and texted me when he was on the way. They removed their shoes upon request which is always a plus. They helped snaked my tub and was very careful and didn't want to force anything because of the old pipes and all. Afterwards, they helped cleaned up the gunk and even used my bathroom liquid cleaner to help clean the surface of my tub. He was also very gracious to also take a quick look and cleaned one of my sink along with tweaking my bathtub handle. They took their time and did not rush one bit at all. I will MOST DEFINITELY use them again in the future on all my plumbing and heating needs. And more importantly, I will certainly refer them to my family and friends.
