LB Fitness is hands down the best gym I have ever gone to!…read more From the first phone call with Bailey, one of the instructors, I was impressed with how professional and no nonsense, yet warm and welcoming this place is. Being new to the area, I was looking for a specific kind of gym--smaller, non-chain, that offered martial arts but also a good variety of strength conditioning and cardio classes. With LB Fitness I found exactly that, and more! Cardio kickboxing, combat conditioning, and Muay Thai with Edson have definitely been transforming my body--I am stronger, leaner, have more endurance, and am overall more fit than ever before. But taking these classes and seeing the results has also had a tremendous impact on how I feel: more confident, grittier, and full of energy! I'm now addicted to learning more combinations, practicing my kicks and punches, and am motivated to continue getting faster and adding more power. Also, as Edson is big on technique, his combat classes are great to learn how to properly work with weights, lift, and develop more strength without getting hurt. Boot camp and Zumba Strong with Bailey are also a must! Mixing cardio with strength conditioning (to a great soundtrack!), these classes are all about tightening, leaning, and burning calories. Also, Bailey is an incredibly encouraging, supportive, and motivating instructor, so while she will push you to your limits, you likely won't even notice until the next day when you are beyond sore =) Finally, LB Fitness tends to attract people who are willing to work hard to get results, but who are also down-to-earth, friendly, and supportive of each others' journeys, which has been truly refreshing. Coach Josh, Jazzmine, Kevin and Brenda have their own style and structure which is awesome to experience in the week. They each demonstrate the techniques and sets before you begin and assist if they see you need some adjustments. There was never a moment where I felt intimidated regardless of the gibberish (KBXC language) they write on the white boards. You learn to make sense of it all while watching your neighbor or reciting the code for yourself. I am always motivated and engaged and keep coming for more. I've been learning new ways to train and kickboxing has been keeping my mind and body agile. Another huge plus is the flexible schedule. With both morning and evening classes available, it's easy to fit workouts into my lifestyle.

After researching several places, I found this one, and I can honestly say I highly recommend it. My background is mainly in fitness classes at the gym and dance classes--I have zero martial arts experience. I initially signed up for a trial, but then I saw they offered a six-week challenge with three classes a week and monitored nutrition. I thought, "Why not?" and decided to sign up for the full six-week challenge to get the complete experience. I've been blown away by how much my life has changed. Not only did I lose about 10 pounds in just three weeks, but it has also helped with my mental health and allowed me to learn so much about myself. The instructors are great at guiding you--they correct your form in a way that helps you learn how to throw punches and do combos correctly, so you can defend yourself properly if you're ever in a dangerous situation. The other students in the class are incredibly supportive, no matter their level. There's a strong sense of community, which has made learning the drills and combos much easier. Alan and Candace are awesome teachers and do a fantastic job instructing. I completely recommend attending this Krav Maga school if you want to learn self-defense, be in a comfortable, family-friendly environment, develop new skills, get in shape, and find a sense of community. At least take the free trial class to see if it's a good fit for you! But if you want to lose weight, I highly recommend the six-week challenge. Invest in yourself!!

He has challenges with focus and self-control at times which is precisely why we wanted to enroll him in the Krav Classes. He started in the Lil Dragons program, and after about 4 months he was promoted to the Juniors program because he was doing so well. HERE is where it gets sad...he was told we would "trial" the Juniors class to see how he would do. After 6 weeks, he having difficulty with focus and self-control in the larger setting, but was making improvements over the last few sessions based on staff report and my observation. This past Tuesday, he wasn't paying attention and accidentally punched another kid in the face with his glove on (not hard but I'm sure it still hurt...he apologized to the child and resumed the class). I recommended that we put him back in the smaller class considering that my son was thriving in Lil Dragons, and he was consistently practicing safe partner work in Lil Dragons so there is no reason he would not thrive there again. Trying out lil Dragons to see how he does again posed no risk to anyone's safety. He just has ongoing challenges with focus and self-control which impacted his performance overall in the larger class. My son in a smaller class size would have more adult support and less distractions which would ultimately help him focus. This issue with the partner work the other day was not aggression, it was a lack of focus that resulted in a punch to someone's face (focus is precisely what a smaller class would support and DID support as of 6 weeks ago). 360 Krav's response was that he wouldn't be appropriate for the Lil Dragons class either (even though he was doing so well there 6 weeks ago that he was promoted!)...effectively expelling him from the program altogether. How 360 Krav has handled this is totally unacceptable. You promoted him to "try" out a new class...it was not a good fit, and now you are not letting him go back to the class that he was successful in. This is a disgraceful way to teach...you are literally punishing a child for being brave enough to try something new and then failing at it.
