I noticed that some of the liquor prices were a liiiittle higher than Minnesota's but not by much -- and the other product prices balanced it out. If you need any groceries or supplies in Clear Lake, Econofoods is the place to go.

No one could be that snarky and rude on a regular basis. But tonight they proved me wrong. I watched one clerk bully an elderly lady into a bill higher than she was comfortable with, and got snippy when she was asked for a delivery date. The other clerk humiliated a young couple that was there for a "free health screening" that they had advertised but didn't have the equipment for. Clerk #2 then got me. And was so rude and insulting that I told her I had no need of her "services" and left. I'll be following up tomorrow with whomever manages the place, so hopefully things will improve. But watching people take advantage of vulnerable customers is more than I can bear.

My husband and I went there to get his Cpap machine and we had to wait for an hour (with a new…read moreborn) for the "specialist" to make phone calls. Once we were able to sit down with him he started rambling about how much he hates when people arrive early for appointments (we were 10 min early). We have been avoiding the place for as long as we can. I'm still waiting for him to return my phone call so I can transfer our RX elsewhere.
