I spotted an e.ployee who was taking another customer to an item. Once she was done I asked her about the flour. Unfortunately they did not carry it. But she was very kind and we had a discussion about sour dough bread (which is what i am in the process of making.) On another shopping trip I was looking for chocolate covered coffee beans. I found a giant container of them. When I was checking out, the cashier asked me if found everything OK. I said I wish that you had a smaller container of them. (I was using them to decorate a cheesecake.) The employee said actually we have these smaller packages over here and grabbed one for. It saved me multiple dollars and I still have some left. They also have the best flowers...and they are reasonably priced. They also have cute plants as well

The fuel station was out of Hy-Vee perks cards, so one of the employees - presumably the manager - went up to the main grocery store to grab some more, specifically for me. This same employee insisted on cleaning out the mug that I had purchased for me, and asked if there was anything else he could do to help. I then purchased E85 without incident. Hy-Vee is nowhere near my home in Lansing, Michigan, but boy I wish they were. I was very thankful, and thanked the employee several times - he insisted that its just what Hy-Vee does, and he was very modest about it. Unless they drop E85, I will be stopping by here to get fuel and coffee next time I'm out in Iowa.

She then proceeded to say there's no parking to watch the fireworks. She was rude and her attitude was unacceptable. Mind you she didn't tell anyone else they couldn't be parked there and watch them. 2 of the 4 people have watched fireworks in that same spot for several years.
