My wife and I get our groceries at Hy-Vee . not my choice . isles are hard to manuver around the vendors carts full of supplies and the employees stocking shelves . when paying for a meal to go am asked for a tip from the guy working as a cashier . I quit going to Hy-Vee after their corporate decided that every citizen was a criminal, so they hired weaponized security to roam the aisles with a gun. I decided to try them again And wowwww! I was blown away how poorly I was treated by staff. I filled up my cart with what I needed and then waited for a young man cleaning his conveyor. As I approached, the cashier was talking to a man that was working the customer service counter, both employees looked at me then went back to what they were doing. No greeting at all. I guess you have to be a customer conscious employee. Horrible service no attention to detail and I will give my money to one of the three other grocers in this town. I blame your leadership for this, I said it four months ago but you really blew it. Oh yeah, they helped me so I left my cart where it was and went home. I would like to let everyone know how happy I am with HyVee each time I visit. Employees are helpful and friendly prices could be less but they have sales all the time on things I actually need. The bakery makes an oatmeal raisin cookie that will make you leave your spouse. It is nice being able to shop in a clean well lit store without trash or other items in the isles. read more

Donuts are straight trash rise and shine is better. Pretty disappointed they didn't give me a free donut on national donut day. Can I get a rip in the chat. read more

7/5/21: First time I ever stopped here for breakfast - and LAST TIME. I ordered a simple $5 waffle. How long does it take to cook a waffle? I waited 25 minutes before finally getting up to see what the hold up was, only to see my waffle sitting on the counter while they cooked someone else's breakfast. The man who placed his order right behind me was already eating his breakfast. When mine was finally brought to the table half an hour after I ordered it it was barely lukewarm. It came with two pats of butter - fresh out of the fridge and hard as a rock. How do you spread nearly frozen butter on a cool waffle? I was disgusted, didn't take more than two bites of it and left it on the table. They totally blew it. They can forget getting any more of my money. read more

While shopping in the Fremont hy-Vee yesterday afternoon I got busy with my groceries my children and every day life something very important that had everything important to my daily life to me my schedule my date book was left behind in my shopping cart my local Hy Vee store and the amazing staff in that store a manager by the name of Josh was very kind and a lifesaver to me he immediately upon finding it put it in a safe and locked it away until I was able to track it down the next day I just want to let anybody and everybody out there to know This is just one of many customer service examples that this store is excellent with !!! Great service from the bakery. They are willing to do quite a bit to go above and beyond, and that's appreciated! Smiling faces and pleasant people. Produce section is good, typical for HyVee. Prices a little high but nothing outrageous and worth the quality and service. read more

The best selection of grocery items in town. They live up to their slogan, there really is a helpful smile in every aisle. If you ask for an item they will take you to its location, if there isn't any on the shelf they will check in back. My favorite store in town. read more

I hear lots of people complain about how supposedly expensive Hy-Vee is but I would like to see those people try shopping at Whole Foods in Omaha and tell me then if Hy-Vee is expensive. No comparison between Hy-Vee and Walmart and bakers. Just look at the quality of the store itself. read more

I want kraft american cheese not hy vee's cheese I want green gaint beans not hy-vee. There always out of major brands so they can sell theres. They wont sell folgers they want you to buy theres. so there out. Is it a grocery store or a hy vee outlet I want major brands. Kraft and Kellogs, General mills, Green giant. They all cant sell there product becuase you push your hy-vee products. and they cant figure out why there products doesn't sell. becuase hy-vee wants to take over. Like flowers, gas. milk. I tried calling the floral department, florist call transferred on hold 8.08 minutes, no answer called back this HyVee main phone rang 13 times before someone answered. I was then placed on hold again for the Floral Department an additional 4.36 minutes. Enough of my time invested, will take my business elsewhere. read more
