She was finding the brand, type of item she was looking for almost everytime. We ended up spending more that we planned but that ok. Everything will be eaten/used to make delicious meals. And I have to say the store was clean, organized and stocked very well. The staff was restocking shelves as fast as they could. We were even greated by one of the managers who made sure we had everything we needed. And be sure to hit the drink (boba) stand in back. read more

We came here because we were nearby for a ramen event. It was a dizzying array of asian foods! They are nicely stocked and categorized. I found many different types of food from different asian countries. India,philippines, cambodian, chinese,malaysian, singaporean, vietnam, japanese, korean, even Africa! Live seafood, frozen seafood, meat, dried goods. Everything is available. You name it they have it! I even found me preserved mango- the wet kind and maggi instant noodles from malaysia!!!!! Usually, the maggi noodles i find is from India. The noodles taste different from different origin countries. They even have a small asian deli with cool boba drinks, asian cakes and sandwiches reminescent of japanese and korean bakeries. Service was good!! Just ask around and they will politely direct you to the aisle to find what you need. It spans multiple aisles- twice as big as the one we have in our city. They even have japanese fscial products! Overall 3.5, but rounded to a 4 As a visitor from out of state I was pleasantly surprised by the variety in this market. Prices were good compared to what I see in ABQ New Mexico. Lots of different Asian sauces, products, and other items. It gives me a feel of a 99 Ranch Market. There is a section of claw machines, which is rigged. Even though we did win some prize, some machines were kind of sketchy, one machine did take one of our tokens. There is a takeout/restaurant in the back, it was pretty busy while we were there. They had pre made banh mi to grab on the go, banh mi, is something that should be eaten fresh when possible. This place is pretty big and we'll organized. This is the only Asian market I've been to out here, but I think its pretty good being out here in Omaha. The cons is that the parking lot is tight, the layout of the registers are not in a good spot, when its busy the entrance way gets super congested and makes you feel cramped. The Asian Market has one of the best selections I've seen--whether you're looking for fresh produce, hard-to-find sauces, noodles, snacks, or specialty ingredients, they seem to have it all. It's the kind of store where you can go in for one thing and end up discovering five new favourites. Everything was well-stocked and organised, and the freshness--especially in the produce and refrigerated sections--really stood out. You can tell they take pride in what they carry. I really liked that they carried a wide range of various cookware, utensils, pots, cups, dishes, etc. They have a very good seafood selection and it is all fresh too. I wouldn't be hesitant in buying seafood from here and I'm from Florida which should say something. I was looking for some green loose leaf tea and the staff was also friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. If you're trying to cook authentic Asian dishes at home or just want to explore something new, this is the spot. They also have a wide variety of Asian medicinals and makeups. I love coming here for random things I crave once in a while. Their sushi and poke bowls are to die for. I love grabbing their cakes to go, the tiramisu one taste delicious. The variety of ramen is outstanding. Recently they have added little claw machines for the littles. There are some cons though: the parking lot is a constant battle trying to find parking space, the store itself is big but seems small compared to all of the items they have. It's overwhelming! Things are priced reasonably, and they have a very large selection of package, food, fresh food, and even some toiletries and cosmetics now. Such a fun place to shop. I have flashbacks every time I come in here to lower Manhattan near Chinatown : It has the look, the feel, and even the smell of the place!! Wonderful selections of spices, oils, seasonings, and produce. Literally get some items here at a fraction of the cost of the local supermarkets : Cilantro, parsley, ginger, potatoes, lemons, limes, just to name a few. One of our favorite spots in Omaha! So many unique products that can be hard to find at other grocery stores. Come prepared to circle for a parking spot, because no matter the time of day the parking lot is always packed. My wife shops here all the time but this was my first visit. I was surprised by the vast variety of products. We've been to H Mart stores in Denver, Houston and Los Angeles, and this Asian Market is the closest thing to a H Mart we've seen in Omaha. We went on a Sunday afternoon, parking was hard to find and the store was busy. But the selection made up for the minor inconveniences. We once visited this big Asian grocery store few years ago when visiting family. Now we are back, my aunt shops here frequently since she and her friends takes a day trip to Omaha. She told me they renovated the deli section, now there's seats to dine in and more food on the menu. Located on the back corner of the supermarket is the deli/restaurant that offers bakery items, hot food, menu of dishes they can cook to order. The grocery store has a huge selection on groceries, meat, seafood, frozen food, seasoning, household goods, and personal items. I think we spent over 2 hours there just browsing through the aisles. When I finish work. I love coming here cause the food is excellent. I've tried almost everything here. The roast duck and char siu is great. I do recommend if ordering duck you call ahead. The sushi and desserts are yummy as well. The service could use some work. When ordering you might wait 2-3 mins for someone to help you cause there super busy most of the time. The area to wait is decent. With chairs and tables nothing fancy just simple tables with sauces on the side. Absolutely love shopping here, especially for produce. I've loved watching the store grow over the years. Growing up, we always came here for groceries and I remember when it was a small shop that offered mainly Asian food items and rice. Now, the store boasts a restaurant, beauty section, extensive fish and meat sections, and a wide variety of world cuisine. The produce is especially deal-worthy, in my opinion, and its fresh. There's hardly a time I can't find something I need here! I've loved the new beauty section, today I picked up a new K beauty toner and soap bar, my husband and I always love the face masks, a huge selection of them! I've really enjoyed this location and the variety of products! There's always something new to try and I've been so excited to go back to try more! This is the best Asian market in Omaha . It is fairly big so it carries all kinds of Asian noodles , seasoning, snacks . The choice of pre packed vegetables are huge . They Yu choy sum 油菜心is so fresh and tasty. We bought 3 packs each time . Their raw shrimps with heads are jumbo size and it tastes juicy with rich flavors when cooked . It is already very salty so I don't need to add any extra salt to it . It sells roasted duck and crispy skin roasted pork too . The duck is good but the roasted pork depends on your luck . Lots if parking in front of the store . There are lines at check out but they moved fast . Inside , the store is not as clean as western supermarket. It can improve on that . read more

We have come here quite a few times for fresh, ready-to-eat Asian food. Service is very fast on the hot meals. See photo for the current menu. There's also a sushi counter and other chilled items. I have been shopping at Asian Market for years and I could not believe that I had not reviewed it before now. So here it goes... Asian Market is the best spot in Omaha for friendly employees, and outstanding selection of items from a multitude of countries (not just China, Korea, and Japan, but also Burma, Philippines, India, and African items as well), and a well-organized store is just the beginning of all the great things about Asian Market. On top of those, they have a fresh meat/seafood department and a bakery/food area in the back. The prices are reasonable and they seem to have few out of stocks compared to other retailers. The only thing that annoys me from time to time is that stock and suppliers change, so there are times when a favorite item goes out of stock and becomes unavailable for a certain amount of time. However, it usually has something similar in it's place and most of the time, my favorites have come back. So, what can you get here? Just about anything. They have two aisles and a row of pallets devoted JUST to ramen and rice. Whether you need a small portion of rice, or a huge bag, or just need some ramen to eat for lunch, it's here. I would estimate almost a hundred different ramen/noodle products (it's two aisles!). You also have whole aisles or sections devoted to hot pot, spices, canned goods, sauces, snack food, and candy, in addition to dishware, cutlery and cooking utensils. There are multiple frozen aisles, ranging from raw seafood, vegetables, dinners, bread, fish balls, and more! There is a whole freezer row devoted to potstickers, wontons, etc. They also have a product department too. Basically, if you need something for your Asian dish or a quick lunch, they have it here! Don't want to cook? There is a cafe/bakery in the back corner with tasty food and drink, served quick and from friendly staff. Lastly, a place this expansive screams like it could be expensive, but the prices are very reasonable and my wife and I come often to get stuff for our home hot-pot meals, other Asian dishes, or to try something new. I visited the market shortly after moving to Omaha. I had never tried bok-choi before. Now, steamed bok-choi with cheddar cheese is one of my go-to snacks. Their ramen aisle has a huge variety. I got sesame chili oil just to try it out. It makes everything taste better when you cook with it. Their candy aisle also has the specialty Kit-Kats (Matcha, Melon-Flavored, it varies from week to week). I always get candy and cookies from here around Christmas as stocking-stuffers. I've been a regular patron of the Asian market since moving to Omaha. This was my first time at their restaurant newly established a few months ago. Being from the west coast, I know my fair share of excellent Asian cuisine and I want to say that I was utterly blown away with the food.   At the Asian market restaurant, you head to the counter to order and pay for your meal before finding a place to sit in the corner of the grocery store. There is a huge variety of Asian cuisine here which includes Chinese barbeque duck/pork, sushi, various rice/noodle dishes and more. After ordering, you choose a table to sit at which were all extremely clean. Service is great and your meal is brought to your table in a timely manner.   For my first time, I wanted to try some of the more traditional meals I was familiar with, so I choose the beef chow fun and beef noodle soup.   Beef Chow Fun: -A very common item and my go-to dish to order at restaurants. Excellent flavor and tender beef. The noodles were light and every individual noodle was coated with the familiar oily delicious seasoning. Overall, it reminded me of prior beef chow fun I have eaten, and I was extremely impressed!   Beef Noodle Soup: - Looking for something to keep you warm during the Midwest winters? Look no further than their Beef Noodle Soup! This dish is filled with a large quantity of beef, noodles and bok choy with well-seasoned beef broth. This is a great alternative to pho/ramen that is plentiful in Omaha.   Overall, this restaurant surpassed my expectations! Their quality of food was phenomenal. Believe the hype of the Asian Market restaurant! We have loved this place for a long time because they have specialty ingredients we couldn't find elsewhere, but when they added an in-house restaurant...well here's all my money. I came with my 4 kiddos one Sunday after church and the store part was busy, but the restaurant had maybe 2-3 other parties. We got our food probably within 5-7 minutes after we ordered so it was rather quick. We ordered 2 different types of Pho (sliced beef and seafood) and the Beef Chow Fun Noodles. Everything was delicious and fresh! My kids loved their Seafood Pho and the there was PLENTY of meat with the sliced beef pho. The Beef Chow Fun tasted just like Mongolian Beef, but with wide noodles instead of rice. Tons of flavor and kid approved! I wish the descriptions of the entrees was more detailed because it's truly hard to know what you're getting or what all comes with the meal. For instance, had the known the beef chow fun came with bean sprouts I would've left those off. The other annoying thing is they don't have a fountain pop machine so you have to buy any drink...including bottled water (Kirkland brand, mind you) and they have it priced even at around $2.20ish/drink. Overall, we would definitely be back to dine in or do takeout if we're around the area. Most entrees ranged from $10-$13 per dish so it's extremely reasonable and came with plenty to share! read more

I love this store, I can find anything I am looking for when I need exotic ingredients here. Not to mention where else are you going to find live blue crab? The produce is always fresh and they have the best selection of fish in omaha and cuts of meat you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else. As far as the grocery they get 5+ stars. However, they recently opened a kitchen and are now serving hot food, which is the traditional set up of an Asian market. Today I got the Chow Fun and it was quite frankly awful. It was just greasy broad noodles and some meat. It was completely missing flavor and the exciting flavor profile chow fun is known for. I will try another dish before I write a second review, but for now I give the hot food 1 star. read more

WOW Asian food overload after visiting this market! I miss Okinawa so much now! I miss all the delicious snacks (flavored KitKats, chips, Hi-Chews, fresh seafood, etc). This market has it all! You can grab fresh/frozen meat, fresh/frozen produce, rice, ramen, snacks, etc. We went on a Saturday and it was packed along with the parking lot! Stopped by Omaha on a cross country road trip. After eating one too many hotel breakfasts, felt the need to eat some Asian comfort food, and saw the Yelp reviews about this place, and swung by. Was very surprised by the range of ethnic authentic groceries. Looked like an H-Mart from the 90's, but with Indian, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese goods on top of Korean (maybe there's more?). Only thing I got was a Sapporo tall boi, and a dish at the food court - white rice & roast duck. Those two hit the spot to tide me over for the hotel breakfasts ahead of me. Was a really cool spot, though. Glad to see so many Asian ethnic cuisine being celebrated, and how popular it was, serving all walks of life in Omaha. Felt proud! read more
