They have some vegetarian choices but I opted for a stuffed red pepper with ground beef, rice & shiitake mushrooms-Yum! Only $6.99 for dinner-much better/healthier than fast food! I love visiting Trader Joe's in different states, they all have different flavors to them. Being from a state where alcohol is sold by the state, it was cool to see the difference in what is sold. We brought and sampled some of the Nebraska specific ciders. The store was very clean and well staffed. read more

I've always loved Trader Joe's snacks, but never actually shopped here since we don't have any stores in Hawaii. I went to go visit my daughter in college and they had a Trader Joe's nearby so of course I had to go! It was pouring rain that day, but even that didn't stop me even though I got a bit muddy. The store is not real big, not sure if that's typical for most Trader Joe's stores, but it still had a good selection of items. They do have a small produce area with fruits and vegetables, frozen section with easy meal prep, and also all their yummy cookies and snacks. I got some thin cookies and waffle cookies along with Kung Pao chicken, dried mangoes with chilies, and ginger candy. The ginger candy was surprisingly good and so inexpensive! I should've bought more than one pack. I also picked up some of their seasonal fall items, including pumpkin bread, and pumpkin pancake mix, which happened to be gluten-free. Happy to see that they had several gluten-free items as well. Check out was fast, and everybody in the store was very friendly and helpful. Wishing someday they would come to Hawaii!! read more

I don't think I've met many Trader Joe's I didn't like, and the Omaha location is no exception. Whenever I travel to the mainland from Honolulu, I'm checking to see how far away a Trader Joes is, and how much extra room I have in my suitcase! Trader Joe's Omaha is small, but then a lot of TJ locations are, but it had some nice variety. Loved their flowers! Compared to the massive Whole Foods I visited, Trader Joes seemed welcoming while Whole Foods seemed sterile. I keep a list on my phone of TJ favorites but it keeps growing... read more

I've been here a number of times and it might be a me problem, but I find it hard to go here due to the larger crowds. I feel in the way for other customers, I try not to let it stop me. The crowds can't keep me away from the thanksgiving stuffing chips when they roll out around this time of year!! I can't get enough of the butternut squash Mac and cheese, it's so creamy and filling. I don't come here often, but love shopping at Trader Joe's! They have a variety of items/brands you won't find anywhere else. Their wine and spirits are a HUGE savings compared to most, and their packaged/frozen goods are often cheaper as well. Their produce is much more expensive so I never shop for that here. The staff at TJs is unlike any other grocery store. There is literally a helpful smile (or 2) in EVERY aisle! If you need help finding something, no doubt more than one employee will try to help you during a trip here. I walked out with some frozen foods to try, and a few money trees (so hard to find in Omaha!), as well as a beautiful bouquet. I need to come here more often--I just with their second Omaha location would come to the West end! read more

This is the only Trader Joe's in Omaha. It is a bit farther out from the downtown/midtown area, but worth the trip down for me. Plenty of reasonably priced, clean food items here. Staff are all very social and willing to help. Sometimes they move items, which makes it difficult to find. They are busy on weekends, but nothing like my experience with Trader Joe's in other bigger cities. Parking lot has a small coffee shop with drive thru so it can make it a bit congested in the area. Some of my go to items include, frozen orange chicken, French flatbread pizzas, tinned smoked salmon and smoked trout, and maple pecan clusters cereal. read more

I love this place for buying groceries. They have fresh and great selections. Not to mention the snacks. It's always busy. But worth it when you're in town or somewhere to explore new food times. That staff is always helpful. My favorite thing is the eggplant trio. 2 pack chopped eggplant with rigatoni pasta and three blend cheese. And the Cesar salad deep. And the chocolate milk. My favorite thing besides the overall vibes are the wine prices. A barolo for $25?? What a steal. I can't believe I haven't written a review here! I don't often make it to TJ's because its not centrally located, and it's parking lot is nutty. It's hard to imagine that this previous Abercrombie and Fitch is now a millenials dream grocery store. I see all the tiktoks of all their viral products but its too much for me to keep up with. I enjoy their floral department, I've gotten many bouquets here. Most recently I stopped in to get my girlfriend her favorite treats for her birthday. They have a great sweets selection. I love Trader Joe's. I don't get here very often due to the location, but that just makes me appreciate it even more. Our go-to items are the Indian-style frozen meals. So much better than your average TV dinner. I like that they have different varieties of frozen rice, too, since I have a surprisingly difficult time cooking rice. Their sunscreen is very good and I'm not sensitive to it, like I am to many other sunscreens. They have an amazing selection of cookies, chips, crackers, and other snacks. These are great to have around the house in case you get invited to a party and want to bring something to share. The problem being of course that they might be eaten before that happens. read more

I really enjoy going to this Trader Joe's location! I have had nothing but great encounters with employees. There have been a handful of instances where I was looking for a product that happened to be out of stock and employees were more than willing to check the system and let me know when it would be back in. I have also really grown to love getting flowers from Trader Joe's to make my own arrangements. I love how fresh their groceries are, especially on the honey mango, it's fresh. The staffs were very helpful and the store is well organized and clean even when it's not a huge space. Their flowers and plants are fresh, and their in store brand food, the price are usually of good value and caters to various style, such as Mexican, Asian, western, etc. They do sell local small business alcohol drinks as well which is nice of them. read more

I had been to various Trader Joe's in California when visiting family so I was among the excited folk who were thrilled when we finally got one in Omaha a few years ago. They have such a wonderful produce section just as you walk in the door, what's not to love? Since I've been eating mostly plant based, I enjoy coming here for the variety of fruits and veg. The frozen foods section always has interesting things to try. The wine department is amazing because it's so much less expensive than many other stores. The staff is friendly and helpful. What a welcome sight to find a Trader Joe's in Omaha! As a SoCal native, I have come to rely on TJ's for several staples of my existence: frozen gnocchi, meatballs, raw unsalted almonds, dried fruit, and those clear plastic tubs of chocolate cat cookies and triple ginger cookies? Addiction is real, friends. And after several thousand miles heading all the way across country and halfway back to LA, there it was... a Trader Joe's, right in the middle of a shopping center. The usual amazing front end service was alive and well-- friendly conversation while rapidly scanning f and bagging our order, with the Mates doing their thing with a smile on the floor. No Cali 10¢ per bag thing here, either. With family in Omaha, it's nice to know this store is here-- familiar frozen quick meals, reliable quality, and a little taste of home when we're 1500 miles from our home store. read more

If you're eating just for two, TJ's has the best food and honestly: no one can beat "Two Buck Chuck" (price may have changed the name remains...I don't make the rules). Considering that this 1 of 2 Trader Joe's location in the whole state of NE, you can imagine it can get pretty busy. Avoid weekends as much as possible and go during the middle of the week as soon as they open if you want to avoid the crowds. I am totally obsessed with Trader Joe's! Their produce is always amazing and affordable. I love their unique items that they have to try and every time I check out the cashiers are so personable. They are so kind and helpful. I have never had a bad experience at the check out. I always have great, warm, and friendly conversations. I love how they only have paper bags that you can recycle and they really encourage the use of reusable bags! I come here and get so many groceries. I then am shocked every time at the price because I expect it to be more than it ever is. I also love their breads, their yogurts, their juices, their tortilla chips... Trader Joe's normally never misses with me. It can be VERY crowded and it isn't the biggest store but I will always look past that. Even with long lines, there is fast and amazing service. My review of this Trader Joe's location is long overdue (like by a year) but nonetheless I feel the need to make this post. I'm originally from Minneapolis but I love getting the chance to see and shop at all the different Trader Joe's locations when traveling or in a different part of town. My boyfriend was living in Omaha at the time and this was the Trader Joe's we would frequent when I was in town. Staff were friendly and the store always had all the goodies we were looking for! One evening when we were making our usual grocery haul, I stopped to ask an employee about a new item I had seen online and was curious about. Unfortunately they did not have it in stock at the moment - no big deal at all! I thanked him and continued shopping. As we rang up all our items and began putting our bags in the cart, the employee came up to us with a TJ's reusable bag filled with goodies and said it was for us. We were in shock! Todd, the employee who had helped me out earlier had handpicked some of his favorite items and had gifted them to us on our way out. This was such a kind gesture that we did not expect at all and we actually were able to try some new items that we now love! I know this is a late response but thank you, Todd! This is something I will never forget and speaks to the great staff and environment this Trader Joe's has. So grateful to have Trader Joe in Omaha. This store has always been my all-time favorite. Trader Joe has its own unique vibe, very interesting to be. I can spend hour or two just looking through the frozen sections. They have lot of choices and so many unique products. The frozen sections have from fried rice, dumplings, pearl onions, fish, or just to go meal. Tortellini is also my to go at Trader Joes, cheap and filling. Heavy cream is also cheaper, even compared to Walmart, so more reason for me to love this store. read more

Being Canadian, I always relish the opportunity to hit up a Trader Joe's as sadly we do not have any in Canada. I'm never disappointed strolling through the aisles and taking a peek at all the amazing, unique and high quality products they offer. I stocked up on many miscellaneous items and ended up going over my baggage limit at the airport - oops! But the extra money spent on the surchage was worth the products i got to try back home. Service from the gentleman working the check out register was fun and he gave my little man a long strip of scratch & sniff stickers. Nice touch! So far out of my stash, I've tried their organic beef jerky, dark chocolate peanut butter cups, candied pecans, regular and Jerk spiced plantain chips, Trader Joe's white cheddar corn puffs and Organic Ethiopian coffee beans and we love it all. Have yet to open the chili lime cashews, freeze-dried strawberries and raspberries, mango yogurt gummies, Everything but the bagel seasoning, 21 seasoning and Colombian Supremo coffee beans. Went to Trader Joe's for the first time today. While I can see why it's popular, it's just not what I expected for all the hype. Man oh man was it busy! I'm not really one for bumping into people at the store because there are so many people and the aisles are too small for the crowd. The food is definitely of great quality, but, almost all the vegetables are already bagged. You can't pick out your vegetables and definitely can't decide on the quantity you want. Also, every item is very pricey. Yes, this is an organic store, but, I can go to Fresh Thyme and get the same quality for less. If you have the money and don't mind crowds, go to Trader Joe's. The service here is awesome - everyone is super friendly at checkout and will help you find what you need in store as well. Getting here is easy with plenty of parking available as well! Due to COVID, there is limited capacity so on Saturday and Sunday you might have to wait outside the store. A good tip if you're busy during the week, is to go on a Friday evening to avoid the line and the crowds! When TJ's came in 2009 or 2010 I was super excited. Now I could get decent wine that never inflates in price for 2.99 (read: two buck chuck). This was very exciting for a college student on a budget. I was also a huge fan of all the frozen selections of dinners, perfect for the college student who only owned a microwave-but liked to eat indian curries, bi bim bop, chinese orange chicken meal and pesto mac and cheese. Well that was some time ago and I am still a major patron of TJ's. I love the genuine creativity of foods they carry from more "exotic" vegetables, fruits all packaged perfectly and in great fresh condition, fresh herbs, refrigerated grab and go meals include things like sushi and gourmet salads and sandwiches. The amount of snacks you can buy here is really ridiculous. Whether you need the ingredients for a nut trail mix or the fixings for a charcuterie board/hummus platter/chip dip/fruit dip THEY'VE GOT IT. Consider your next party completely covered with one trip to TJ's. Your guests will think you're completely amazing but really you just popped mini tacos and spanikopita and some other crazy gourmet type frozen apps into the oven. They have a lot of gluten free things, as well as "stuff you just dont find at the regular store" like a mint chocolate coffee topping grinder or pink himalayan salt grinder or a bottle of preserved saffron, PB&J filled chocolate bars...the list goes on. I can seriously spend hours browsing the aisles for snacks, cooking needs, and frozen meals. The food here is very "ethnic friendly" and they have a lot of frozen food as well as cooking items from a lot of different cultures.
