We enjoyed our stay at Hyatt House. The suite was lovely and the water views were beautiful! Unfortunately, we didn't realize how close to the airport the hotel was. We had planes landing all day and night which made it extremely noisy. Housekeeping also arrived at 8:30 when we had an 11am check out. My bf asked them to come back at 11 and they showed up again at 10am. I don't like being rushed and didn't appreciate them not respecting what he had asked. The hotel wasn't full either. read more

This hotel was enjoyable to say the least! "Easy parking, warm greetings, a room calm and clean, Soft bed, hot shower--simple comforts seen. Morning kayaks, still water, a quiet island stay, Hyatt House was a pleasant surprise in the most serene way. Parking was easy and uncomplicated. Also the entrance from the parking garage to the hotel was close inconvenient. Going to the front desk we were greeted with professionalism with thoughtfulness and that was amazing. Finding our room was very simple. The room itself was nice. you could tell they had recently redone the decor. The bed was comfortable. Water was hot shower was spacious enough. Of course they provided the shampoo conditioner body wash in the shower. The aesthetic around the hotel is really what sold it, though. As you can see in my photos, they had charter boats where you could sign up and be taken out on a boat they had kayaks in the morning, it was so peaceful and still down by the water when she walked outside in the back of the hotel I stretched out there. I went for a walk. It was so serene and gorgeous. The way this hotel is situated. It's kind of on a little island for lack of a better term that set off from the main road so when you drive by it looks really cool because it looks like it's sitting in the middle of that body of water whatever that is. Looking out the window there was a gorgeous view and we would definitely stay here again. Except they need to thicken up their oatmeal and the breakfast bar and maybe think about including some more protein heavy options as well. Lol read more

This Hyatt sits at a beautiful location on the river/lagoon. Our room was tidy and a bit compact, probably what your standard room looks like. We did have a small discrepancy with turning on the air but apparently there's a trick to getting it turned back on that we didn't know. So we asked what they can do and they offered a late check out. I don't enjoy being that person but didn't sleep well since hubby kept getting up and we felt weird having some in the room in middle of the night as well as our boys were asleep. The lady at the front desk made me feel a bit uncomfy telling her as if she thought I was making it up but as soon as I mentioned how it was making me feel she acknowledged it. I appreciated that because we pay a good penny and although I don't fancy airing my grievance I know I needed to be truthful about my stay. I advise coming early for breakfast because we missed some of the better foods and it wasn't replenished. Also I had no idea it came with morning kayaks. I so missed out on that! Anyway, I agree that the parking fee is pretty high but more so it needs to be displayed better esp when booking through 3rd parties. I feel like they are doing a bad job of disclosing it. Overall though I loved loved Naples beach's and I cannot say I don't want to visit again! read more

Nice clean hotel to stay at. We were here for a wedding weekend. Our room was fantastic king room with small kitchen and seating area. The breakfast was the usual tasty affair of eggs, potatoes,fruit,cereal and waffles with fruit. Good coffee. I will warn you are on the flight path for the Naples airport. Hotel was nice with a good pool and clean but the surprise $30/day parking really soured the experience. For a 3 night stay you're looking at a surprise $100 fee. I would recommend just putting it in the price of the room. Parking is not scarce so there is really no need for the charge other than to price gouge. Average hotel overall. A solid three stars. The hotel itself is beautiful, the linens and bed felt fresh and crisp. The complimentary breakfast was better than expected with crispy hash browns, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh cut fruit etc. A few things are glaringly underwhelming with this hotel though: First things first, when you spend $285/night on a room you expect basic cleanliness, but there was a used bar of soap in our shower--yuck! I think that used bar was meant to be for us because we didn't have one to wash our hands. There was no hand soap in the whole room so we resorted to body wash. Why didn't I call and rectify the situation? Because the phone didn't work & the times we were downstairs during our one night stay I just forgot to ask. This is Hyatt House, similar vibes to Hilton Homewood Suites where, hypothetically, a person could stay comfortably for an extended stay. Outfitted with a fridge, sink, dishwasher, couch etc. Only, the fridge was also broken in our room! Everything that was wrong with this hotel are easily preventable, standard operations that should be basic and checked with every room turnover. The room wasn't up to par but they didn't forget to leave a plaque on the nightstand with a message and QR code asking for tips. Upon checkout I did mention everything and asked for the $27 parking to be comped and they did it without any issue. I then asked for a bottle of water from the mini fridge behind the desk and was told it's only for Hyatt members... I guess dirty/broken things in the $285 room don't qualify for a complimentary bottle of water, but I was happy with the comped parking at least. As I'm writing this review I realize my phone is almost dead even though I had it plugged in all night. It seems the bedside outlet is broken as well. More broken amenities than working ones. read more

Came for a quick weekend getaway and we will surely be returning. The young man at the front desk Anthony was amazing! He was so helpful, welcoming, and had amazing customer service. We arrived around 10am and although checkin wasn't until 3pm, he made sure we were taken care of and got us a room. The location is very nice with a business center, good size breakfast area (breakfast included and was very good), and a nice bar/restaurant. Looking forward to returning. read more

Why in this day & age would a hotel chain like Hyatt not have smart TV's ? Also, why would they not have any room service? Am I wrong? So it's pouring down rain and I'm stuck in my room watching Hallmark? Thank God for Instacart and pizza delivery cuz otherwise I may as well be at La Quinta. At the very minimum Netflix would be great. So upon arrival, we were allowed to check in - the room we were sent to was not check-in ready - the bed was not made, there was a plate of food in the kitchenette, and the bathroom was smack in the middle of being cleaned. They did give us a complimentary upgrade. But Let's not forget that having to pay $25 a night for parking. Dude, we're not on South Beach, this is Naples! Oh and let's also not forget to mention people playing football in the pool and having a football come close enough to my head that pool water splashed up my nose Iike I did a saline rinse ! So security can tell us to leave the pool cuz it's thundering but can't tell people that football in the pool isn't acceptable? The wild rabbit near the bar was cute and and man being arrested on the dock by Florida Fish & Wildlife was out of the ordinary so that was entertaining if you like that sort of entertainment. But otherwise the hotel is nice and clean and if you can get a view of the water like your reservation says, it's pretty nice. The pool here is just... wow. I'm not much of a beach person and am happy to post up by a beautiful pool and relax for hours. The pool at Hyatt House was the perfect setting for that. It overlooks the bay and has fantastic views. The pool and deck area are massive, so it isn't tough to find your own relaxing spot in the pool and a lounger. There is also a bar and grill that's adjacent to the pool with a large food menu. Service is stellar and someone frequently came around to check in on food and drink orders. Bonus -- if you are into boating / kayaking there are several charter companies that leave directly from the hotel. The hotel itself is incredibly clean and modern. You can tell that it was newly built, and the lobby and exterior are immaculate. Given this, I was surprised to see that the rooms were just okay. The room and bathroom are both incredibly small and feel very no-frills. Still totally fine for a quick stay, just a bit surprising given how modern and sleek the hotel feels. Breakfast was also lackluster. Given it's Covid times, but the pancakes were rock solid and there was no fresh fruit. For cereal and yogurt it was completely fine. Location is prime and you are walkable to downtown Fifth ave, tin city and a variety of other eateries that sit on the bay. If you are a rewards member this hotel accepts anniversary nights. I'm always looking for nice anniversary night properties, and this is a wonderful option if you are in the same boat, or if looking for a nice hotel in Naples at a mid-level price. read more

I've also never stayed in a room without some type of a/c control in the room. They had centralized temperature and you couldn't change. They charged 25$ to park you car. Room AC can't be controlled by the programable thermostat so the room was super cold and when i spoke to the receptionest she kept repearing that the thermostat is ok but i should give it a minute however i did that the whole day and the unit is at maximum fan speed and maximum cooling.... at last somebody showed up and turned the breaker off,,, imagine the level of customer service they provide-- moreover the room sucks.. all reception crew are rude.. bad experience.. very bad.. dont waist your time and ruin your vacation and go somewhere else read more

Beautiful clean accommodation. The pool is warm and the planes fly right overhead to land at Naples airport. It's spectacular. The dock is also really nice if you happen to get a room facing it. My only BIG complaint is $18 a night is charged for parking when you check in. That's an exorbitant amount of money to charge a guest just to park their car. And if you intend on charging it- it should be included in the overnight price when they book. We ended up with more than $100 less to spend on our vacation because of this and not knowing about it. read more

Place is really bad. Hyatt has an "every fourth day" housekeeping policy that they put on a tiny piece of paper you don't see at the front desk. They don't tell you at booking, they don't tell you verbally at check in, you just have to find out on your own. We requested one day of housekeeping and this was how they "cleaned" our room. No replacement of towels, didn't wipe anything, didn't take a used coffee mug or give us new soap. What a joke this place is, we'll never stay at a Hyatt again. read more

This hotel is ideal location, easy walking distance to great spots!! The room itself is more a standard hotel room, the bay views are gorgeous! Would recommend!! Breakfast was a hit, hotel was a Florida vacation hotspot for-sure! My only complaint is the customer service, we are local to Naples but had a wedding to attend, we already checked into our room/ stayed a night prior, had (2) nights booked, with many others attending the wedding staying at this hotel with a room block. When we arrived from the wedding after party, late night. We were locked out of rooms. Room keys not working! Our stuff was all in our room as well. This was a problem for a few of us. The front desk was no help as the "system" was down. Although we asked to have a manager open our rooms because again, we paid for the night and our stuff is in the room! They proceeded to say they can't allow it which is... not acceptable. I don't know why our room keys were shut off in the first place... After almost an hour of waiting, they finally allowed us to get into our rooms BUT they had to double charge. Which was than taken care of, Just a difficult process after coming back late night after a wedding! Was not fun to deal with. read more

I stayed here at the Hyatt House for one night before making my way to Islamorada. For the night, the stay was more than fine; however, there were a few things I'd like to point out. There were a few cleanliness issues (nothing major), the night sleep was okay, and the facilities were great. First, the cleanliness. There were no major issues such as bed bugs; however, there were a few minor things. While some of the furniture was nice and pristine, others were a tad bit stained or dingy. The minor issues did not tamper with the stay significantly. My Rating for this Category: 3/5 Second, the night sleep. The night sleep was alright, but nothing extraordinary. Our air conditioning had struggles cooling our room to 65F - it felt more like low 70s, so it was warm. The mattress was not hard, and the pillows were not awful, although they did not offer much support. My Rating for this Category: 3/5 Finally, the facilities. The Hyatt House has great offerings. The ones I used were the breakfast area, outdoor walk areas, pool, and paid parking structure. The breakfast was nice for a free breakfast. the outdoor walk areas are beautiful, and they overlook a nice river. The pool is lagoon style, and is nice and warm. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 For one night, the hotel was absolutely fine. The facilities were exceptional, the night sleep was fine, but the room could improve a bit on cleanliness. First time in Naples and Hyatt House was a great choice. However just because you reserve a river view room doesnt mean you'll get the pool river view that's seen on the website photos! But the pool can get pretty loud with screaming kids so maybe regular river view is just fine. On that note the walls are not as thick as you would think and we also heard running up and down the hallways constantly. Seemed to be popular spot for families and the pool area was gorgeous and relaxing, until it filled up with those families. But I still relaxed and read my book. Lounge Pool chairs not comfortable for more than 20 minutes at a time I had to keep getting up and shifting my body and the pool towels were silly tiny. Kids towels for sure. They could both use upgrades. I was able to snag a chair under one of the beautiful palm trees (I was first at the pool at 8 am on Sunday) and stay in the shade for almost 3 hours! Pool filled up very fast after that everyone trying to get the last bit of fun in before checkout. Parking is self parking 12$ right now and it is easy in the garage on same floor you stay on. Our room was a suite with a small kitchen and living area. Tv in middle that swiveled to let you watch on the couch or in bed. Bed was fine. Not hard not soft. Patio is nice but small. I don't like that there is no separation on the balcony from the room next to you. Blackout curtains so that was good touch. I didn't try the in hotel bar due to the poor reviews. However continental breakfast was acceptable I had cereal and also eggs. Common areas were 4 star hotel class - clean with nice furnishings. Shower had good pressure. Hair dryer provided. Walked to Tin City under the bridge for ice cream and also to the shops on the other side of the little inlet. Drove to 5th Avenue and to the beach both 5-10 minutes. Highly recommend Jane's on 3rd for breakfast. I would return to this hotel, I sleep with ear plugs so most of the noise from the neighbors wasn't an issue for me. I think a lot of hotel stays actually depend on who else is on the property, which isn't necessarily the hotel's fault. This is a reminder to everyone to be considerate when you're sharing places with others. It is okay to have fun and a good time, that's the point! But keep it under control :). read more

Hotel was clean but I was starving when I got checked in. I went to the bar area and was given a happy hour appetizer menu along with a dinner menu and told by the seating hostess the happy hour appetizer menu was still in effect. After waiting more than 15 minutes for a server, I ordered and ate dinner with one item from the happy hour appetizer menu priced $7 and a Dinner Caesar Salad When I received my check, the $7appetizer was $16. I was told I was charged more because the food order was not entered into the computer in a timely manner, so the computer automatically charged me an extra $9 and there was nothing the server could do about it. I don't appreciate the fact that, what I felt like was, bait and switch with the appetizer menu. I will never stay here again read more

Hotel location is great. Right on the water. We had a view of the boats coming & going. Here are our negatives: No housekeeping. You have to stay min 4 nights to get this. The trash won't be emptied or towels refreshed. It's nice to have clean towels & the room made-up daily when Your spending that kind of money for a Hyatt. We had scheduled to stay 3 nights. We had to call housekeeping to bring us towels! We had 2 HUGE problems, but the biggest problem was our room was so cold that We had to turn off the A/C & the fan STILL blew cold air. Never thought We would be using blankets in Florida. The following day, maintenance came & said that there was nothing wrong, then We showed them what happened when You shut off the A/C. The maintenance person said that there was nothing they could do about the fan blowing cold air. The 2nd problem was NO room service. I had to go down to the bar to get our dinner. NO carriers for the soda. I got tired of waiting for the carrier that I just left the Ice Tea. Surprisingly enough, there was a knock at the door w/the Ice Tea being delivered. When I ordered the food, they failed to mention that the hamburger (That I had to go get myself) was TWENTY-TWO dollars + the Chicken Sandwich, Our dinner came to $48 & they wanted a tip (After I had to go get it) We don't leave a tip at the hamburger place, do You? The 2 positive things: The Valets were SO nice, even when We didn't have cash for a tip & We told them that We would take care of them on our return, They smiled & got a 'no problem'. The 2nd positive thing was the breakfast buffet. One day We had potatoes with the eggs & the 2nd day We had French Toast. We checked out a day early because it was a horrible way to celebrate my 60th birthday. We understand that the COVID has changed things, but NO room service (Food or Room cleaning?) There were barking dogs that caused me to call the front desk 4 times in 24 hours, each time to be told they didn't have the owners number and couldn't do anything about it...they could have moved me! Then when I got home I realized I left a brand new pair of expensive shorts in the drawer and called the hotel immediately! I was directed to housekeeping where I left a message. No call back after 3 days...Another call and spoke to Jason at the front desk who sent me right back the housekeeping voicemail and crickets! Three more days and I called back and got Jason again. This time Jason gave me an assurance he would personally check with housekeeping and get back to me...Nothing! Another call and Jason again..."Calling about my shorts still"? He said "sorry we don't have them", to which I reply, someone has them...a brand new pair of $100 shorts were left, they just weren't turned in by housekeeping! First off, I will say because of Covid changes that they decided to make, this is why I gave it an only average score. Hotel location is great. Right on the water. Across from a marina and walking distance to downtown. Water view rooms, small but good. I can only imagine the Den rooms, probably have a view of the road. The pool is very nice, decor is nice. Boardwalk is beautiful. Overall the property is nice. Here are our negatives. FL is open. Why serve food out of plastic to go containers. Why limit breakfast to scrambled eggs, sausage, and terrible French toast. By the way, this never changes! You eat the same everyday. ( ok sorry, you do get the eggs with or without cheese.) but come on, mix it up a little with bacon or something. The kid serving, he couldn't care less what you actually want. I saw multiple people ask easy things like no sausage, or 3 instead of two links, French toast on the side. It was almost funny. He gave everyone a scoop of eggs, 2 sausage, 2 French toast all on top of each other. It was like going through the line in the army. Second problem. No housekeeping. You have to stay min 4 nights to get this. You trash won't be emptied, towels refreshed. We usually take a morning shower, explore and day activities, then a shower before dinner. It's nice to have dry towels. The biggest problem was the trash though. We had both cans full and more on the counters. Hopefully post Covid things will get better here. This hotel may be in a great area but the front desk staff are extremely rude. Daniel in the front must think he is better then anyone else he treats everyone with no respect. This hotel is a vacation spot and they have the pool closed for maintenance on a Tuesday . Kids are sitting around the lobby doing nothing. Instead of being nice he said it will open when it opens. The housekeeping staff is very kind and welcoming and even interacted with the children since they are bored. The hotel is clean but the front desk staff is terrible and they need to hire better people to be the face of the hotel. The bar has almost no drink choices everything that was asked was not available. Stay somewhere else if you can during your stay this hotel is not friendly and they need to do better. read more

This is one of the grossest rooms at any Hyatt I've ever stayed at! We were so wiped out after driving through the state after visiting my Mom in Palm Beach that I thought I could deal with the mold in the bathroom and the (who knows what) over the doors. That was a bad decision. We spent the whole night listening to a loud elevator and a broken ice machine. It was a rough night. The next morning before we went out for the day we called the manager. I was on hold for 1/2 hour. I asked him to come to the room. I showed him the mold mentioned the other issues and pointed to our packed luggage. We said we wanted a clean and quiet room. He took our number and said he would call us. Well, he never called but when we got back to the hotel that night he had moved our room. On 5th Ave. seemed like a perfect location. I 've stayed at many different Hyatt hotels and have rarely been disappointed. The spell has been broken. This place was a huge disappointment. At checkin I asked about being upgraded. I was staying for 2 nights with my daughter and thought it would be nice to make it special for her. For $20 a night we could have a suite with 2 queen beds and a view of the bay. Sweet? NO. The suite came with a bathroom door that wouldn't close; a bedroom in which we could barely manage not knocking the other person over. The living room and kitchen area looked as if it was last updated in the 1950's. However, it was spacious. At dinner we admitted that we hated the suite. At first, i did't say anything because I thought my daughter liked the space. She didn't say anything because she didn't want to hurt my feelings. Finally she admitted that she thought the bedroom looked like a hospital room. That did it for me. When we returned to the hotel I said we wanted to know what else was available after describing our dissatisfaction with the suite. The only room available was our original standard room. We looked at the room and agreed it was better than the "suite". So we repacked our clothes and moved. Our room came with a balcony that overlooked the street. It had 2 chairs and a table in case you enjoy watching and hearing cars wiz by. So we never used the balcony except to check the weather. When I opened the shower door I found a used razor In the shower. I doubt that I'll leave a tip for housekeeping. That ruined any comfort I had about the cleanliness factor. The shower itself was very good until I got out and found a pool of water on the bathroom floor. So for the 2 days we stayed here, I had the unlovely job of drying the bathroom floor. We did have enough towels so this was doable but not pleasant. We had a full day so we decided to eat at the hotel. Our only dining choice was a small bar in the lobby. Apart from an unreasonably long wait for our food, our meal was ok for bar food. Apparently employees are required to wear masks. The bartender chose to wear his around his chin which was disturbing even if it was a fashion statement. Would we ever stay here again or recommend this hotel to a friend. Not a prayer. read more

The hotel is decent, and we often book rooms here for our pilots. I came by boat today to try the restaurant bar by the pool. I was extremely disappointed with the food, drinks, and service. The location on Naples Bay provided an awesome opportunity for a waterside quality restaurant/bar the would be enjoyable for hotel guests and boaters alike. Hyatt came very, very short of taking advantage of this opportunity. Overall disappointed, and won't return personally for food, nor enjoyment. read more

This is our family spot for Naples, we come here at least a few times a year. It's right on the Gordon River so there's natural beauty along with a beach style pool. The rooms are so nice and modern my four year old daughter asked me if the 'Property Brothers were here' lol. read more

Free breakfast and free use of a nice fitness center. Beautiful pool over looking the water. Walkable to 5th Avenue Naples and the Bayfront restaurants and shops. Check out the nearby Baker Park. A beautiful place for a short bike ride or walk. A big negative was the planes landing into and taking off from the adjacent airport while trying to enjoy a peaceful time at the pool. Very loud. The hotel is right below the flight path and, for me, that was intolerable. Also, the cleaning was sub par. We had a unit with an efficiency kitchen so we could eat lunch in our room on occasion. Upon arrival we discovered the cleaning staff only cleans every 4 day so by the 4th day we had run out of some supplies and the kitchen trash (containing food) was overflowing. The room began to smell. I know, I know, a lot of places are struggling with staffing issues right now so this part wouldn't be a deal breaker for me but, still, give us a break on the $354/day room price then. . read more
