We stayed here because it was convenient to the concert venue nearby. It is past its prime, so I can't really recommend it for an extended stay in Naples. It does have a convenient shuttle (and attentive, shuttle driver, who was kind enough to drive us to the concert venue nearby) for those who want to shuttle to the beach at Naples. Wear and tear is visible throughout what was likely once an elegant boutique hotel. The people were very nice so if it's a short stay and you don't expect high-end amenities, furnishings, etc. it's fine, but I found it to be too pricey based on my expectations. read more

We are a large multigenerational family . We chose this hotel to house for a wedding weekend. The price point was on target and the service was excellent. Very clean well appointed rooms. The beds were comfortable but be aware that a double room really has double beds, as opposed to Queen sized. Complementary breakfast bar with fresh bakery. This is a gem. Our family utilized the common areas for 4 days . It was as if we were entertaining in our own homes. The view over the lake and fountain is restful . We were greeted by the doorman when we first arrived and the check in process took less than 2 minutes. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and offers several amenities that will make your trip a good one. Free Breakfast: (build your own omelette bar, waffles, pancakes, yogurt, granola, fresh fruits, OJ, coffee, and the most delicious donuts ever) Shuttle service that takes you to and from Vanderbilt beach. Can also request to be dropped off/picked up from any other locations in the area. Free beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas to borrow for the beach. This hotel also has a nice swimming pool, hot tub, lounge chairs, bar, and fire pit. Our room was nice and cozy. Nice tile bathroom with a big shower and clean towels. Bed was comfy and sheets were fresh. Room seemed slightly outdated but that is not a big issue. Only regret was not getting a lake side room with a balcony - was stuck looking at the parking lot through our 2nd floor window. In addition, this hotel is walking distance (less than 5 min walk) from a Publix, ice cream shops, seafood restaurants, burger joints, liquor store, and various other restaurants/coffee spots. We selected this hotel based on its amazing reviews, and it's close proximity to a lot of fun things to do in the area. We were not disappointed! The rooms are absolutely beautiful with spacious bathrooms and very comfortable beds. They even have a little basket of wine selection and wine glasses for you. I thought that was a lovely touch! They have a lovely pool area, a jacuzzi, and even a fire pit to enjoy at night. The premises are impeccable. Breakfast is included and it does not disappoint! They even have a live guitar player to entertain you during your meal. This is such a lovely hotel and it exceeded our expectations. The staff is incredibly friendly! Jeff was so sweet when we checked in, and they allowed us a later check out as well. They have free beach Transportation which is only about a mile away, and they give you umbrellas and chairs for you to enjoy. This is definitely where we will be staying again when we return to Naples read more

It was a quick and pleasant one night stay at this Inn, and I'd totally recommend it! Hotels in Naples can be pricey -- especially during high season in April. The Inn at Pelican Bay is near Vanderbilt beach (around a 20 minute walk), but not on Vanderbilt beach. A hotel on the beach will run you upwards of $1,000 a night. This hotel is more fairly priced at around $500 and includes a free shuttle to the beach, along with chairs and an umbrella. There are also bikes on the property. Now, a disclaimer. The public beach that the shuttle goes to (Vanderbilt) was SO crowded on a weekend, and so narrow that it was physically impossible to get a spot. Granted this could be much different on a weekday, but just something to consider if you are choosing this hotel for the beach access. The pro of staying at an actual beach resort is you will have a private area. I only stayed for one night, and was more than happy to relax at the Inn's pool when our beach plan failed. Something to be aware of if you are staying here with a beach vacation in mind. Some more to note about the Inn: -There is a really cute pool area with plenty of seating overlooking a small bay. There is also a firepit and a shaded outdoor area to enjoy breakfast. So again, if the beach is crowded there is not a shortage of comfortable outdoor spots to post up and relax. -Rooms also include terraces. We were lucky enough to be on floor one and actually had our own back patio space which was sweet. -Breakfast is included, and it's delicious. Everything is individually wrapped, from pastries to small fruit salad cups. They also had a live guitarist at breakfast which was so fun. -Rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and AC is strong to beat that Florida heat. The lobby is also beautifully decorated with lots of nice sitting areas. The vibes are very nautical / preppy, and I was digging it. -Staff was very sweet and friendly. They were happy to give us area info and were able to accomodate an early check-in for me. -The hotel is conveniently located next to a Publix, and is also walkable to other shopping centers with food options. Overall this was a very solid stay at a mid-level price in Naples. Highly recommend! read more

I stayed at the Inn from 8/31 thru 9/4/22 and definitely had some ups and downs while there. When I reserved, directly through their website, I forgot to request a room that was not by an elevator since I'm a light sleeper. I called the day after to make the request via phone, and Tonie (front desk) happily accommodated me. On arrival, I again confirmed that I would not be near the elevator? They seemed unaware that I'd requested this, but indicated I would not be near it. I began in room 221, a 'city' (parking lot) view, ONE room away from the elevator, even though the entire floor was vacant when I arrived - you can tell based on the 'sanitized' sticker that breaks as you open the room door...and all were intact on the floor. Needless to say, you can hear EVERYTHING on the 'city' side of the hotel, including cars and motorcycles drag-racing on the road as well as everyone who pulls into the hotel lot. I'll also take this opportunity to mention that there is a fire station probably 30 yards from the hotel, and yes, you'll hear those too. Guess what else I could hear?? You guessed it, the damn elevator moving up and down!! I didn't sleep AT ALL and was pretty ticked. I told the front desk the following afternoon that room 221 was NOT a good fit for me and was offered another room. After packing everything up and walking to the new room, I walked by the front desk and thanked them once again for moving me. At that time, the gal acknowledged that they (the hotel staff) "hate those rooms" and that it's a "known issue about the elevator" on that side of the hotel. To this I must say: if my ENTIRE FLOOR was empty, and these rooms are known for being loud (+specifically requesting light sleeper arrangements) why in the world would you put a guest there???? The hotel was NOT at capacity, and that made me feel as though they didn't care about my experience. Fast forward to my beautiful new room 606, with a lake view and a king bed. I was so looking forward to a good night's sleep, to not hear every car in FL and to have a balcony and some beautiful scenery that night. Guess what? NOPE. A very large wedding party had arrived that day and was out on the back patio/pool until roughly 2:30am my second night. Screaming, laughing, drinking etc. Keep in mind hearing this on the SIXTH floor so it's LOUD! I was SO irritated but didn't want to be a pain considering I'd already had an issue with my initial room. When I went down in the AM I asked the desk if it was normal to have people outside screaming until after 2:00 a.m. by the pool? They said absolutely not, if that happens again to call down to the front desk immediately. Something about his comment made me think that other guests had complained, too. I was later told that you can't hear the noise from the pool area at the front desk when the doors are closed.....might make sense to implement a policy where if there are 'X' amount of people outside at once after 11pm (the quiet down hour, as I was told) to go out and listen to the noise level every once in awhile. Just a thought. After I 'missed' the shuttle my last night, Miss Tonie (front desk) was kind enough to say 'forget about him!' and took me to the beach in her personal car. Now that is WOW service. All in all, the GOOD: *Good selection for breakfast each day, was happy they offered almond milk! *Guitar player for breakfast music *Rooms are just as beautiful as pictured, and have 2 bottles of wine and water you can purchase *Beach shuttle is spacious and runs on the hour 9-5, ask for the card that contains their phone # in case you want to be picked up early! *Love the beach chairs and umbrellas, such a nice touch to be able to enjoy the beach carefree *Apparently the shuttle will take you up to 3 miles away to shop/eat. I didn't hear about this until my last day, a nice perk I wish I'd known sooner! *There is a small snack shop in the hotel, which I stumbled on by accident. It's to the left of the front doors as you walk in, and has some tasty stuff! *Love, love LOVE the fire pit and andirondack chairs *Grateful for the fresh ice and water located right outside the bar in the pool area. Was nice to refill my insulated bottle before heading out for the day. All in all, the TOUGH stuff: *Those 'city view' rooms. Beware! LOUD. *The resort fees+taxes add $35+ to your nightly room rate. As another review mentioned, you're paying for your free breakfast and the free beach shuttle. *Please inform your guests of all of your amenities, like the 3 mile shuttle and the snack shop. Wish I'd have known the ropes immediately. The Inn at Pelican Bay DID make it right for me by adjusting my bill at the end of my stay, due to the challenges that occured while I was there, hence the 4 star review. Modern bathroom and shower. Ice and vending machines on third and fifth floor. Large lobby with a piano, bar with several tables and outside seating. Beautiful pool, then a fire pit with seats around it, and in the corner a jacuzzi. This all with lake view. The gym is well equipped. There is a boardroom for meetings. The view outside by the lake is lovely to enjoy with a morning cup of coffee. My only qualm is the bed. This is a very dated hotel. The nightly rate is very high given the quality of the rooms. Be sure to read the small print as well. One rate is quoted but it does not include a daily resort fee which is pricey. The website says "free breakfast" but it is not really fee as it is part of the daily resort charge. Furthermore they get very annoyed if you book through a third party , like American Express, instead of booking direct. Which seemed ridiculous. The owner/ family that manages the hotel is not very accommodating as well. In general we felt like we were over charged for the quality we received. The 2 ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful...that was the one highlight to staying there. read more

I had a fabulous experience at this hotel and I would return. The Hubs and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. Our room was lovely, spacious, and clean. The hotel was visually attractive with its palm trees and landscaping. Parking is free. And the location was great for our trip to the beach, surrounding shopping, and restaurants. We also enjoyed our complimentary breakfast. We had a delicious self-made Belgium Waffle with whipped cream and strawberries. I also enjoyed the fresh fruit. There were other typical complimentary breakfast items such as cold cereal, boiled eggs, coffee, juice, bagles, yogurt, toast, instant oatmeal, tea, etc. We enjoyed our breakfast on the back patio with views of the pool and a lake with a fountain. It was a very relaxing scene for us. There is also a free shuttle to take guests to the beach. CONS: It's true that the pool was only 4 feet deep. It's pretty, but it obviously isn't meant for swimming. The staff wasn't really that friendly or welcoming. A room by the elevator is noisy. Ask for a different room. read more

Staff are incredibly friendly, efficient and effective. Sometimes I just think something and they are there supplying what I thought of without me having to verbalize. They do all this without interjecting into your privacy, they are just very attentive. Great location nestled in among a wealthy community with a Sheriffs office subtly but effectively located just next door. There are also signs for a library that I have not had time to visit. I had a reservation for today, 10/5-10/6 (two nights). Check out was scheduled for Friday 10/7. My stay in Port Charleston was work related and the only nearby hotel was Inn at Pelican Bay (but still about an hour way, but it was the closest one I could find). After an hour drive from Port Charleston, I was told that my reservation was cancelled because I cancelled because of a mistaken identity. They cancelled it and never bothered to check the name or full name of the person who cancelled it. So the front desk told me that there was nothing they could do as they were booked already. I would've appreciated that they had offer to at least call other hotels and see if they had some availability. Because of Hurricane Ian, almost all of them are sold out. I did call my travel agent to see if there was anything on her end as the front desk insisted that the cancellation was for my 10/5-10/6 (check out on 10/7), when the chat was clear that these people wanted to cancel a reservation for this coming weekend! I did speak with the front desk director, Robert Keane (be careful with this guy), who refused to speak with my travel agent at first. I passed the phone to him and he yelled at me that he doesn't talk on other phones other than his (everyone could hear him, even the young kids at the front desk). So I put my iphone on speaker, and my travel agent tried to figure out the problem. But he often ignored her and me. I did ask him for his name ( he was a bit far and I couldn't read the name off his badge) and he walked away. One of the kids (glasses, really thin with brown/reddish hair), told me "hold on!" quite rudely. Eventually, Robert Keane came back and gave me a card, but he didn't say anything and I wanted to confirm that it was his. English is not my first language, so I need to verify everything, and I did ask him if the name on the card was his (I still had problems reading his badge) and he screamed at me and asked me if I thought it was his mother's name. And then he called me an idiot. Yes, he called me an idiot several times! Really?? I have witnesses. The travel agent was on the line the entire time and heard everything. The two young kids at the front desk were there and heard everything. Everyone heard it. I have never had this happened to me before at any hotels. I then left to de-escalate the situation but he followed me to my car, and took a picture of my license plate. Really??? I filed a complaint but never heard back, so now I'm letting the world know of my experience. read more

It is super clean, especially the common area and pool area. The decor is cute (old Florida and nautical). However, some things are worn (the drape liner in the room was torn). It just needs to be freshened up. The inn is 1.25 miles from the beach. Great walk for exercise but there is a shuttle, which is GREAT! The inn also provides beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas! This property was superb for my liking. Stayed in November 2020. They took our temp upon arrival, sanitized tsbles between guests and required masks on site. I absolutely loved my stay. The rooms are huge, well equipped and carpet-free, the corridors are quiet and clean and the overall hotel decor is classic, coastal and elegant. On our coffee table was conveniently situated Fiji water, white, and red wine for purchase with a giant ice bucket and perfectly sealed glasses. There was a Kurig and mini fridge in my room as well as a couch and extra seating. The bed could have been more more plush I'd rate it a 7 but glad almost glad it wasn't because they would have had to permanently remove me if they were. Love this place it felt like home but better. The staff was polite and attentive. For breakfast there was a live musician playing guitar, on the menu were assorted baked goods and berries and we sat outside in a covered terrace overlooking the fountain in the ample lake as it lightly rained in anticipation of storm Eta. read more

We had a very short stay here as it was a quick visit. My husband's employer actually paid for the stay through an incentive at work and we were very pleased with the stay. The place was very nice and had a very relaxing feel to it. This was not a beachfront hotel but it had a nice view of a lake. The stay included a continental breakfast and it was pretty good. We are not big eaters in the morning so it was fine for us. If you like a hearty meal in the morning skip the continental breakfast and go across the street to Skillets. I normally stay closer to the beach but the location was quite nice in the newer area of Naples. They had a great area across the street called Mercato where there are a bunch of upscale restaurants and bars so it was great to be so close. They also had a shuttle to take you to the beach a mile away which was a nice touch. We had a wonderful relaxing short stay. This definitely is more of an adult hotel.. No kids were in sight so if you are looking for peace and quiet you will get it here. The only thing that can be changed is the carpets on the 4th floor. Smelled a bit musty but looked clean so not sure what that was about. I would probably stay here. read more

My wife and I have come to this very cozy boutique hotel for the past two years. The only issue we had was the air condition. Wasn't bad this year but reality was that it was so humid outside it was hard to get the room under 73. The staff is ALWAYS very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is situated perfectly between Vanderbilt Beach and a mall that has anything you need from various places to eat to the famous Rocky Patel cigar bar! Also, right next to the hotel is a CVS and Publix. (maybe a one minute walk) The breakfast is very nice and the coffee is hot. Pool is small but again cozy. If you go to the beach, GET THERE EARLY! * Make sure you get the shuttle schedule so you know when to get there. You can always walk home if you don't want to stay long. Great point: if you are going to spend a significant amount of time there, go to CVS and get a little portable umbrella and plant it into the sand at the beach. It will add a couple of hours to your beach time and save you a significant amount of money renting one. The hotel is beautiful and has a very scenic pond right next to the pool. Can't go wrong here! We will be back again mostly because of the awesome staff who do a great job trying to accommodate you! read more

So my family and I have been staying in other places and we would always pass by this place! So we decided to do a weekend getaway and stay here at Inn at Pelican Bay! I have to say this place is nice! The ambience was great and the customer service as well! We were able to check out later than usual which is great! Only things I would say they need to work on is the spacing in the rooms. Definitely better if family of 3 or less. Unless you get more rooms. And the breakfast options. But definitely worth to stay here! Family of 4 and the beds were small. I believe they are full beds. I think they can fit queens in there. But otherwise the rooms were ok! Breakfast was ok as well, not a lot of options; basic breakfast! It was good to get by! I want to say this place was great and the people were nice and we had no bad experience! Also this Inn is located next to many shopping plazas and many restaurants nearby! Definitely I would recommend this place! read more

The property and rooms are impeccable. The room decor is like a magazine layout Beautiful. The staff is beyond amazing starting with the the staff when you check in and ending with the transport driver to the beach so accommodating and pleasant. The ambiance as you eat breakfast is so nice with someone playing the guitar. The only thing that I would change is the beach that they take you too. The beach is overrun, and it's not even season, boom boxes playing music, not what I would expect to be transported too after experiencing the high standards at the property. We booked through booking.com Nice place, it's an older hotel, and the lady who man the Breakfast bar was lively! She even went out in the rain at one of the guess to relocate the friendly ducks that was hanging out at the outside breakfast area. We enjoy her interaction with the ducks, it was entertaining. It was Disappointing of It was a long process, to book a room, and it was due to communications issues. Asked for king bed! We got two full size bed, air conditioning was too loud, and the tub wasn't draining at all. We were up to our knees in tub water every time we showered. First of all, super appreciative of all the staff and professionalism throughout our eight day stay. Robert the front office director was great in setting up our family and accommodating our needs from the start. He definitely outlined our expectations prior to our stay and we were not disappointed. This place is really nice family owned boutique hotel with a cool Ralph Lauren vibe. Great complimentary breakfast in the morning and Tony behind the bar in the evening, is the man!
