Stayed at Hyatt Place Dallas/Allen for a birthday celebration we traveled to attend. Upon entering we were greeted and provided keys to check in with ease. Ms. Christina at the front desk was friendly and helpful! She ensured all of our needs were met. The room was spacious, and clean. The bed was comfy, however I did notice a few stains on the bedding. After we did our detailed cleaning and sanitizing we felt at ease within the room. The one downside is that there was not a safe. I thought that was odd. This hotel seems fairly new which is a great thing. However, we did have two experiences with Lyft/Door Dash not being able to get to the hotel using the provided address. Eventually they figured it out but that was an issue. They have breakfast each morning and they offer a variety of things to eat. There's juice, milk, coffee, and tea as well. Overall, we had a nice stay at this hotel and would highly consider returning. It's around several eateries, stores, and other necessities. I'd recommend for a weekend getaway/stay. read more

The staff were good, and the breakfast was good - all as it has to be in a Hyatt. All good, 5-star, can recommend. Good location, big parking lot. Solid thumbs up for a quick one night stay at Hyatt Place Allen, Texas. We didn't stay very long, needing just a place to crash while visiting the Dallas area. Hyatt Place and Hyatt House are at the 'Value' end of the Hyatt brands, but it also means they use the least amount of points for a rewards stay: 5,000 points in this case, inclusive of tax and fees. The room was very large, with 2 queen beds AND a sofa sectional that a 3rd person could sleep in. The beds were very comfortable. The TV in the room was large and modern, and the bathroom was fine, with good water pressure. It has a large surface parking lot, and it wasn't too hard to find a spot, even though we checked in after 9:30pm. We weren't able to use any of their amenities like free breakfast, gym, or free bottled water, because of lack of time. Checkout was a snap at the front desk, and it's always nice to get an emailed portfolio with a balance of zero afterwards. Hyatt doesn't have as many locations as its competitors, but now will always be the first brand I check when I need to be in a certain city for a certain date (and I'm saying this as a lifetime Marriott Elite member). Hyatt also has this cool part of their loyalty program where they encourage you to stay at their DIFFERENT brands by offering one free night for every 5 brands you stay at, for the lifetime of your membership. I haven't hit my first five yet, so will continue to work on that. read more

Recently we stayed at this hotel for over a month and a half. During the stay, we found it to be pleasant and the staff to be courteous and very helpful. The room was comfortable and we were well accommodated. One thing that I enjoyed in particular for the crispy chicken wings from the bar. It has now been over two months since we left the hotel and tonight we went in with the express purpose of getting chicken wings to go! They were 14 wings in the package and that varies depending on the size of the wings that they are serving at any given night. Sometimes they're less sometimes they're more. Tonight there was more. Everything was amazing!!!! I booked this king size bedroom on a third part app (Hotels.com). I had a long flight delay that caused me to arrive after midnight. I travel a lot, so I already know, many hotels will just cancel your reservation if you don't show by this time. I called the Hyatt during long layover, just to make sure, and get a plan of action going. My first interaction was with Aaron, really nice guy. He came up with a solution for my...2am checkin. Next, the nicest guy in the world, so very helpful, Darren, assisted me with a perfect flawless checkin. He mentioned it was just him, and offered to cook me something to eat in their 24/7 restaurant. (I was exhausted, and was ready to hit the bed) Next, I got up, breakfast was from 6am to 9am. GREAT hotel breakfast!!!!! Stations were clean, food was fresh. I come back from running around all day to have dinner in their restaurant. Here I meet Draper, and Jonathan. Their customer service was delightful!!!! This hotel has the friendliest staff! Helpful, accommodating. I don't drink alcohol, so Jonathan made me a juice spritzer with pineapple and cranberry juice with a little seltzer water (DELICIOUS) Draper, cooked a really TASTY pizza (hot, fresh, and dripping with cheese :-) These guys kept an eye out for my needs, all while letting me chill at the bar and watch TV. I work in an unkind environment. THIS was quite relaxing to be able to vacay, that people are REALLY this nice, considerate, accommodating and assuring a flawless time at their property. Whenever, I'm in Dallas, This Is my new go to!!! I want to give a thankful shoutout to all the staff here!!! Y'all are doing an amazing job, and the property is spot on clean!!! read more

We stayed here for my son's wedding and had over 20 rooms booked for family and friends. I'll be honest -- there were quite a few hiccups and miscommunications in the planning stages that had me nervous. But in the end, the hotel and especially Christina in Sales turned everything around. Christina went above and beyond to make sure our wedding weekend was special. She was attentive, responsive, and genuinely cared about making things right. Thanks to her, we ended up having a wonderful experience. The night before the wedding, we hosted a celebration in the banquet room, and the staff couldn't have been more supportive of our good time. From helping with setup to making sure everything ran smoothly, they truly made us feel welcome. While the start of our experience wasn't perfect, the way the team -- and especially Christina -- handled things showed real professionalism and care. Went to this hotel after a bad experience with the Holiday Inn Express down the street. I walked in and was greeted promptly at the front the desk and I asked if they had any rooms available and the lady at the desk found us a room and got us checked in. Came in tired from traveling and was loaded down with my luggage and encounter the hallway blocked with dirty linens and the cart. No one was to be found. I had to move it. When I later found a housekeeper and it was still impossible to pass. Her answer was yes. She didn't speak English and laugh at my question. Not a good start to my trip. So we needed a place to stay in Dallas and we got to stay at Hyatt Place in Allen. The hotel looks very brand new and feels the same as well. At check in, to our left would be the area where (Free) breakfast is served. There weren't too many tables there but a good amount. They change the cuisine almost every day a tad bit so that people who have to stay here a while won't have to get sick of eating the same thing all the time. We had french toast, eggs, cereal, a lot of milk, and the Hyatt classic of Seattle's Best Coffee (Decaf and regular). I do forget what else they had atm though haha. In our room, it was spacious. The bathroom greeted us to our immediate left, and then past that was a cozy L-shaped sofa that I guess could also make a good spot to be a sofa bed that would be bed number 3 in our 2 doubles room. There's a small chair/table but that's just alright. The other two beds and a lot of space in between them. It feels very spacious. The bed is so good and was so nice to sleep in. The extra pillows went on the sofa couch and the cushion haha. It felt very nice and very relaxing to stay here. There's a small fitness center (one machine per) with a set of weights and a few other machines, along with a pool. The one caveat is that you may at times hear the people above you and outside but it's not too loud. Being near US-75, you don't hear the freeway traffic though. Whee! read more

Was working nearby so I decided to look them up and stay for a few days. I was warmly welcomed by the staff and I was able to check into my room early. I booked a king bed and there was ample room for me to really stretch out and relax. The room came with a large swivel television and a wrap around sofa bed, which was great for relaxing on and getting some work done after work. The television had tons of channels and since I don't have cable at home I was able to check out some channels that I hadn't seen in a while. The room also had a fridge, but no microwave. The bed made it absolutely impossible to get up in the morning as the mattress just sucked and hugged you in. And the pillows were varying sizes that made it easy to put one under your knees and tons behind your head to just relax and sink in. I was so sad each day I had to go to work! Super easy check out as well. Minus one star for the slow and spotty internet and for the fridge not really getting cold. Other than that it was a great stay! read more

I had a very nice four-day weekend stay at the Hyatt place in Allen Texas. Was there for a family get together. They did ask me at the time of check in if I wanted daily housekeeping and I declined. It was a very long drive after work and I was quite exhausted by the time I got to my room. After checking in, I loaded the hotel luggage cart with my items from my car. I got to the room and unloaded everything from the cart. I decided to go out and get a late dinner. As I closed the door and then pushed on it to make sure it was securely locked--the door opened up. I tried this repeatedly with no ability to lock the door completely. I went back downstairs waiting for a few more folks to check in and ask the agent at the front desk to switch my room on the same floor. I got a new key card I went back up to my room loaded the cart again, Took it down the hall to another room near the elevator and unloaded the cart again and this time was successful in locking the door. No other issues occurred during my four night stay and I enjoyed the hotel. This is one of the very few (of maybe a dozen hotels) I've stayed in this year that actually had a warm breakfast offering. I know all hotels are trying hard to reclaim the market of travelers and this Hyatt Place is getting closer to "normalcy" again! read more

The room was actually quite nice for this type of hotel. The breakfast was not so great - powdered eggs I believe is what they were. But the worst part was that we had items stolen from the room we stayed in and despite numerous calls to management it was obvious to us they could not have cared less and did NOTHING to help us. We had to get the police involved. Also our car was keyed in the parking lot- 3 foot scratch. read more

Very pleased with my stay here. The rooms are comfy and the couch and seating areas were useful since most meals were takeout/delivery due to Covid19. The hotel is very clean and staff was always available. Had to switch rooms due to the highway noise, but it wasn't an issue. The bed was super soft, I slept very well. The shower is roomy and modern another nice touch at this Hyatt. Can't comment on the pool, as it was closed, but it looked very nice. I would definitely return for another stay. read more

Had myself a bit of a staycation at the Hyatt Place in Allen. I have to say first of all that Halita? and Anna are such a great group of ladies to deal with. I had a complicated credit card situation and they handled it so well, and to my surprise told me they had only been using this system for a few days. Very impressive! The pool was great, the food in the lounge is ok, they have snacks at the front and get this, they're pet friendly! A+ Hyatt Place Allen. And it's true it's clean and brand new, but after the front desk person told me that there would be no charge for my SERVICE ANIMAL, I was checking my bank statement and they charged me $75! I called and they said it was because I had a "pet". They refunded it after I called the hotel again, but if I didn't check my statement I never would have known. This is a brand new hotel, thus the lack of reviews. I cannot say enough positive things here. The staff made me feel absolutely spoiled- answering questions, providing quarters for laundry, an HDMI cable I forgot, package service. All with happy smiles and respectful kind interactions. Everything is brand new so it's clean and lovely in every way. The bed is so comfortable I forgot where I was. Blackout shades and no curtains (which I prefer). Thoughtful placement of structure like a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom, outlets everywhere including by the bed, good lighting, central heat/air (no clunky window boxes that cycle on and off). Lovely lobby area conducive for visiting or working with a great business center (with wireless printing). Full service bar. The breakfast knocked my socks off. It's real food in cast iron pans, not cafeteria food from containers. It has the same feel of Hyatt, but up a couple notches. Wonderful experience. read more

What a great room! The decor was really nice and it was very clean and spacious. I was placed towards the back of the hotel which eliminated any noise coming from the front lobby and highway which I greatly appreciated. I was right next to the pool, which it was too cold to swim, but it was still nice to just go sit by the pool and enjoy the cool of night peacefully. However, the room I had would not be a very good place if it was still summer cause the noise of people coming in and out from the pool would get annoying. Just a tip! The ladies up front were very friendly and made great conversation while getting me checked in. The workout room looked great as I passed by it heading to my room. I am a local so I know the area but for those that don't, it's a great location right off the highway close to lots of food places and shopping at the Allen Outlet Malls. The free breakfast they give was very delicious and filling. I really loved the fact that they had all types of milk available since I only drink Almond milk. I think the rate I paid was really fair considering the location. I would definitely consider staying there again if I feel a need to have a one night stay-cation again. The only reason for a 4-star is I know that noise levels could be an issue depending where in the hotel you stay. Other than that....my actual stay was a 5 star stay! read more

If you book a room at this hotel call ahead and get ask for a room towards the back of hotel. You will not be able to sleet due to highway noise. We stayed at the Hilton down the street 2 mothers ago and faced the highway and was able to rest but not here. Everything else was good. read more

GiGi (at the front desk) had let me check in the 3rd of February and specifically said to me 'you are obviously too young to drink but if you are with someone that can we have a bar'. I came back the next weekend (the 10th) to check in again and she wouldn't let me because i wasn't 21. i proceeded to tell her she let me check in the weekend before and she denied remembering me and denied even being there the weekend before. i then got the reservation put under my moms name and had my mom come check me in and she still denied us. and told my mom that i was too loud and disruptive the weekend before even though i wasn't there day all except to sleep and she 'didn't remember me' i then had to find a new hotel last minute when i had to be at an event in an hour. read more
