Did a weekend stay here in early December where my friend and I stayed here. I remember reading…read moreone review about how this hotel tries to be something bigger than what it is but mentioning that it's still a solid option. Well, she hit it right on the head with her assessment of this spot which matches mine as well. However I had a wonderful experience here so I'm bumping up a notch. This hotel is clean and fancy with it's high rise floors, rooftop pool, in-house restaurant/bar/coffee shop, and it's connected to the mall with free parking. There's also plenty of dining around. The rooms are very clean and the bed is comfortable. The pool was closed since we were in December with temperatures dropping but I hope next time I'll get to experience it. I may have an assignment in the Plano/Frisco area in the summer so I will do my best to try to stay here again so I can relive the experience I had before with the added bonus of checking out that pool!

Look, this one wants to be fancy. She tries. Polished floors, big lobby, some dramatic…read morelighting--she's giving luxury, but it's more like a vision board. I know, by the time you cut all that crap out of your magazine, I've already obtained what you're manifesting (the vision boarders come for me all the time). That said. She's solid. Clean. Comfortable. Connected directly to a mall, a kids' play place, a movie theater, and probably a place to get your eyebrows threaded. You could kill a week here without ever stepping outside. It's the Disneyland of convenience. The pool is also trying to impress, but it's more like kids squealing and cannonballing than relax with a mojito. Still, decent chairs. Good towels. Does the job. She's a practical queen in a cocktail dress. Not fancy, but fun.

This is a gorgeous property in a fantastic location. Checking In & Perks If you aren't a member yet, definitely sign up before you arrive! Upon checking in, we were greeted with a complimentary drink and free WiFi. Karina handled our check-in and was absolutely wonderful--extremely amicable, professional, and the perfect example of excellent customer service. The Atmosphere & Unique Daily Themes One of the coolest features of this hotel is the daily theme hosted in the lobby: Day 1: A complimentary snack cart stocked with chips, candy, and water. Day 2: A fun trail mix station. A bourbon and burger event offered at a very reasonable cost. On our second day, we interacted with Rashad, who was also the absolute epitome of customer service. The staff here truly goes above and beyond. The Rooms & Amenities The rooms are incredibly large, spacious, and well-designed. Our room faced the mini-field at The Star adjacent to the hotel. Even though the hotel was completely at full capacity during our stay, the room was remarkably quiet. The soundproofing is top-notch. The bathroom was equally spacious. We did have one minor hiccup where a provided bath towel was visibly dirty, but the staff handled it flawlessly, immediately exchanging it for fresh linens the next morning. The pool area is beautiful, and both the bartenders and pool attendants were incredibly attentive and quick with their service. Dining & Events We spent some time at Neighbors, the on-site bar and restaurant, and sat on the patio to people-watch. There are also plenty of other great restaurants within short walking distance. As for the birthday celebration, the event space was stunning. The decor leading up to and outside of the ballroom was beautiful and incredibly well-executed. The event food and drinks were great overall; the only minor drawback was that the fries were a bit too salty, but the rest of the meal was delicious. A Special Highlight As an added bonus, Samuel L. Jackson was filming a spinoff of Tulsa King right when we arrived! Despite the production hustle and bustle, the hotel staff did a seamless job of accommodating regular guests and maintaining a premium experience. In closing, I highly recommend this property for its spacious rooms, stellar location, and a team that truly understands hospitality. We will definitely be back!

The hotel kept pushing back on contract decision already agreed on and signed off on. We had difficulty getting someone to come and open doors despite having instructions on time frames we needed rooms. One of the rooms we had till midnight one day, was taken over by cleaning crew almost 2 hours before we were even supposed to be out. We had a room near the lobby and outside people kept coming in, I had to tell 3 different people, in which the last person saw it first hand and handled it luckily but things just weren't done in a timely fashion. Now to talk about the room... let me just say, it's clean, it has everything you need for a stay but it is not a wow factor, nor does it impress you. For the amount of money you are spending per night at the this place, you at least expect some decent tv service. The shower has 1 sliding door that honestly does nothing to stop the water from splashing out onto the tile. The lamps in my room closest to the beds didn't even work. The closet wouldn't fully close which made the light stay on. And the toilet required you to flush several times just to get the toilet paper to go down. The room service is on very limited hours, but in top of that the restaurant has very limited and just ok meals. Overall just not impressed with this place whatsoever.

While visiting friends in "Little Elm,Tx ( near Dallas), we stayed at the Northwest site. Always the rooms were amazing, yet if you're a lite sleeper ask to be further away from the expressway. Rooms are extremely clean, beds are comfortable, more than enough wall outlets to charge your phone or use your CPAP machine. My wife and us stayed here in 12/26, the day after Christmas. We were so tired after all the holiday prep that we stayed an extra day just to rest. Rest we did. OMG, the room was perfect. Hung the sign on the door and we hibernated like brown bears. It was the most relaxing 12/26 I've ever spent. Im SMH in the lighting layout in the room. At night the only light you can use to make it to the rest room is the super bright bathroom light itself. I want to bring special attention to the breakfast and the "Happiness Hour". Every day the hotel serves an amazing breakfast. Eggs, bacon or sausage, tater tots, DIY waffles, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, toast, yogurt, etc. It's a regular cafeteria here. But what makes it all work is the staff. The manager comes out and greets everyone. I mean everyone, the guest, the staff, she helps clear tables, checks food levels, makes sure the guests are comfortable. I have not seen this at other properties. This hotel is large and they need her skill to make it all work. Thank you Drury Hotel, Frisco. You made my Christmas special. Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx.

Rooms appeared a little more dated but that's not terrible. Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable and shower felt good. Mini fridge is MINI-MINI so we left everything in the cooler instead. We were excited to have an indoor pool... unfortunately, it was OVERRUN with kids. There weren't any pool chairs and there had to be 20 people squeezed into the hot tub alone. We walked in, walked back out. The veranda on the same floor was nice, expect for people smoking out there. It was choking us. Blah. "People still smoke??" Then there's breakfast... pretty much every Drury we have stayed at made fresh scrambled eggs as opposed to the weirdly textured "hotel eggs"... not this one. They don't make fresh eggs on a flat top. The sausage was hard and dry. I did't eat. Coffee was ok. We missed dinner but it's usually like 5:30-7 and we normally enjoy it. Menu rotates. The dining area seemed to have a decent amount of seating but it's pretty tight. Lucky for us, the some kid squished in next to us kept sucking in their snot instead of blowing their nose. Always pleasant sounds when people are trying to eat. Bonus, his brother sneezed in our direction without covering his nose. All in all, a decent place to sleep but didn't get to enjoy all the perks of Drury.
