The hotel is clean, modern, and well-managed. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. I was pleasantly surprised to find a thoughtful welcome basket in my room, complete with extra waters -- a rare but appreciated touch that shows they really value their guests. The breakfast service was excellent, with a full selection that met all expectations of the Home2 Suites brand. That's not something you see at every location, so credit goes to the breakfast attendant and the management team for getting it right. This has been one of my favorite Home2 experiences. We had our Marriott Hotel cancelled at the last minute due to not being a high enough rated member. We have stayed with Hilton many times and never had issues so we went again. After booking online we did not receive confirmation so we called and they gave the number and assured we were good. When we got there the room we got was only a king with a fold out couch and we reserved two queens with a couch. When we asked about it they reviewed the notes on our account and saw they comped us the adjoining room next door because they accidentally overbooked the large rooms. We were very happed. It was a perfect setup even better than we planned. The rooms were great and very clean. All staff members were very nice and helpful. Our room was cleaned and beds made for the extent of stuffed animals cutely placed back on the pillow. One of our best hotel stays yet. read more

We selected keyless entry so we did not have much interaction with the staff. We were in and out. When we departed the lady at the front desk, smiled and said hello. She was the FIRST person to acknowledge us during our stay, no one else spoke nor said a word. She receives 5 Stars by herself. We had a pleasant stay and would stay again. Whoever designed the bathroom did not do a great job when you step out of the shower, the door is right there to hit you if someone opens it, awful design other than that descent room. Also the breakfast was covered which I loved, everything was in a drawer or container for you to pull out if that's what you wanted. My stay here was fantastic! The room and bathroom were sparkling clean. There wasn't a hair anywhere. The bed was unbelievably comfortable - OMG - really! The bedding smelled of being freshly laundered. The room had a full kitchen including dishes and utensils which was very convenient. There was something for everyone at the breakfast venue. Everything was really good (the preprepared breakfast sandwiches were ok). There was always complimentary drinks and snacks for the guests out. The hotel and lobby are very updated and were aesthetically appealing. The staff were always super friendly and helpful. We did have one hiccup with our billing. I used more than one payment method and that seemed to cause some confusion and errors due to a new system that had recently been implemented. That said, the staff were very friendly and helpful and got the issue resolved. There were some comments that I've read about the treatment of some people. I can personally attest that we didn't have that issue. I'm not denying that these types of things can't and don't happen, but it's a "people" thing. Individuals, not races. Just saying. read more

We rented out 5 suites over the Christmas holiday. The front desk staff were super friendly and fun. One of the managers was our photographer for family photos in the lobby and she was awesome. She expertly got the little ones to pay attention to the camera, look in the right direction and smile. We appreciated that she agreed without hesitation and got a ton of great shots. Every one really liked the layout of the rooms and having that waffle maker available during breakfast every morning. And for coffee people gourmet and decaf are available 24 hrs in the lobby with an assortment of creamers to choose from. And the hotel location is really nice because plenty of restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. I quickly took advantage of the fact that Macy's is so close by. First off the front staff Mickie, J, and Torrian were amazing and went above and behind to make sure our stay was as stress free as possible. We stayed for almost month, waiting for our new home to be ready to move in. They changed and extended our stay numerous times, and always with a smile. Second the housekeeping staff was great as well! They were all the nicest ladies and did a great job on our room and the facilities. Breakfast area was always clean and well stock with food. We stayed at Home2 Suites 11/02 - 11/08/2024. Hotel Staff "J" checked us in upon arrival and very graciously allowed us to early check in after traveling for 12hours. J was very professional and friendly! We had some issues with the television in our room. It was not connected to the hotel internet system and we were unable to access our Netflix account nor able to access our Paramount + account that we needed to watch NFL games. Hotel staff, Greg, got us connected with the hotel IT department. The actual manager of the hotel was unhelpful and unfriendly. Greg was able to schedule a room change for us 11/05 - 11/08 with a networked television so we were able to access our online streaming services. We were scheduled to leave for a weekend in Ft Worth 11/08 - 11/11; however, we realized we had made an error on booking our return dates. J seamlessly adjusted our return dates to 11/10 - 11/13 and our room and television worked wonderfully with no issues! Housekeeping was wonderful, servicing the room every 2nd day as stated. Beds and pillows were comfortable. A/C worked great! The only thing I would change is to ensure that all guest rooms are equipped with a networked television and better bathroom lighting for makeup application. Highly recommend J for a promotion to hotel manager!! (I thought J WAS the manager until I had to unsatisfactorily deal with the actual manager. 5 stars - Will stay here again! read more

Definitely no bed bugs or key card issues (like the previous reviews) but PLEASE note that the thermostat on the wall has NOTHING to do with adjusting the air conditioner!!! A note by said thermostat would have been nice.... After arriving late one night and falling into bed, we sweated all night only to keep returning to said wall thermostat to see what in the heck was going on. It wasn't until the next morning that we realized the temperature is controlled at the actual unit. :( We'll know next time. read more

Stayed here on an overnight and we were very pleased. Nice hotel for the price. The indoor pool is heated and was perfect for tired grand kids to play in. Breakfast the next morning was a good selection of grab and go - omelettes, bagel sandwiches, etc. The staff was very friendly. It was our first time at Home 2 by Hilton and we liked it a lot. Beyond the pool is an outdoor patio with two grills you can use. The small kitchen in each room is very functional. Although they don't have cook tops you can get a hot plate for your room from the front desk. Our rate with Hilton Hhonors membership (which costs nothing) was $84 per room for one night. A similar breakfast at Starbucks would have been $20 easy. Home 2 breakfast was just as satisfying. read more

Me and my family of 6 stayed at this hotel for 5 nights while visiting Texas for the first time. Here are our overall thoughts on the hotel: -friendly staff -terrible breakfast -good size rooms -close to everything -housekeeping never came? Not sure why -cozy beds -bad water pressure in showers -great kitchen in room -kids loved the indoor pool -tv remote control SUCKS! Overall, for the price we paid, we were happy. We stayed in this hotel July 13 and 14 2018. Upon checkout we found BED BUGS of varying maturity in both beds. I immediately notified the manager, Mr D, who came to the room. After inspection he stated that "those are not bed bugs." "You must have brought those in with you." My family and I were quite upset. The people staying in that room came from 2 different cities and could not possibly have brought the bugs with us. I have photos and video of both the bugs and the tell tale 3 in a row bites. Mr D said that he would get a pest inspection and let us know. No offer was made at that time for compensation of the room. Two days later I called back where he told me that he still did not have the pest report. I notified Hilton corporate and Hotels.com, which we booked through. Both corporate offices stated that we had to deal with the hotel directly and could not help us. After those calls I received a call from Mr D who was irritated with me and stated,"I guess you have been busy making phone calls to people." He offered to refund one night to us which I refused because I did not want to give him my credit card number. Mr D also forwarded a pest report that stated there were no bugs at all in the room. Their inspection occurred on Monday after we checked out Sunday morning. I'm quite certain the room had been thoroughly cleaned. As I stated before I have video and photos to prove otherwise. I notified the health department. This could have all been handled much better with a kinder, gentler customer service approach in the beginning. read more

My recent "stay" here was less than desirable. My wife and I showed up late Friday evening/early Saturday morning. We had just arrived from a friends wedding. Normally I would not stay with Hilton but we chose to this time due to a family member booking it for us. Upon arrival my wife and I had to wait at the desk after having rang the bell a couple of times for 5 minutes. Then the front desk lady (Brie) finally comes to the desk. She had a grumpy attitude with us. We got checked in and walked back out to the car and decided that we were going to leave. Just did not need that attitude. Plus, we only live 15 minutes away. On the way home I called Brie and told her that we were leaving and that we did not expect to pay for the room as we never even went up to the room. Saturday I called and spoke to the Manager, Nick. Nick told me that he had already spoken to Brie and that my story was different than hers. At which point I said to him look at the cameras and ask housekeeping if the room was ever disturbed. He told me that that was not the point here, that the point was someone was lying. He said that he would call back that day after investigating it. Well, here we are on Monday. Now the story has yet again changed on their part. Now he (Nick) is calling me a liar. Says he has "proof" I went to the room. When asked to provide the information I was told that I would not receive the information. When asked about the videos, he skirted that too and said that he was unable to locate the time. Seems to me that if I were truly the one lying here that Hilton/Nick the manager/Brie the night audit-front desk lady would have no problem proving this. Instead I am now taking more time out of my day to contact Corporate to get the credit refunded back to my family member. All in all, this is why when my wife and I do travel we normally stay with Marriott or Omni. read more

Harassment by general manager and staff. Randomly asking guest questions and immediately telling to leave hotel. Guest just minding their own business and having to face this rude unprofessional behavior is a shock to me. There were no concerns or anything going on. Just plain harassment. I do not recommend staying here at this home2 suites location. No issues after 3 nights staying there and then this happened. I still had 3 more nights and I just recently extended my stay. The breakfast is delicious, many options, hot and fresh. The rooms are CLEAN and filled with amenities to make you feel at home. The location is perfect for shopping, restaurants or travel on 75/121. I just moved to TX and stayed here for about 3 weeks while waiting for the keys to my house. The property is attractive and very well maintained. The staff were responsive to my needs and always gave a little more than I expected. Even during COVID the location has a really tasty breakfast which I sort of miss now that I am gone. Nick, the General Manager was courteous and even went out of his way to deliver my mail to my new house. The hotel is close to a lot of food options and close enough to main roads. There are even nice areas to just take a walk. This is a very well run location and I would recommend it if you are planning a short stay or a long one. read more

I am a diamond member in the Hilton Honors program, and have been for a few years (staying with Hilton 60+nights or 30+ stays per year). And currently, I regret every night and every dollar spent over the years. I live in the local area of where I was trying to book a room on October 8th, as I had been displaced due to a plumbing issue at my home. I called the Diamond Desk that night at about 11pm, because I booked a room through the app at Hampton Inn Dallas/Plano-East and then the hotel desk informed me that they overbooked and wouldn't refund my points for 72 hours, and wouldn't provide anything for my inconvenience. The diamond desk heard my concern, immediately refunded my points, then gave me an additional 14,000 points to book me another room. They supposedly booked one that was 12 miles farther away from me at Home2Suites in Allen. Problem solved, right? Wrong. So I left my friend's comfy couch that she'd offered to me and left to give her space back and go to my own comfortable hotel room. At 11:55pm when I was pulling up at Home2Suites, their front desk called and said they were overbooked and didn't have a room for me either. They said they'd double check and call me back. When they called back, they confirmed there was no room, they couldn't refund the points, and there was nothing they could do to help me. I tried calling the Diamond Desk back, but of course they closed at midnight and weren't answering the phone. No one could help me and I had to sleep in my car that night after the Diamond Desk had me driving 12 miles out, wasting gas to get to a fictitious room. Sleeping in my car was uncomfortable and unsafe, but you can't book rooms online after midnight because they only show availability for the current day, and it was too late to show back up at my friend's doorstep to wake her up and ask for my spot on the couch. I'm not pleased about the position Hilton put me in. Additionally, I called the Diamond Desk twice the following day to complain and ask for compensation. I asked both reps for their superior and both lied to me and told me they don't have a manager. So I guess all Diamond Desk reps just work for themselves and report to no one. Today I called again and was told that there's no one to tell about my concerns except completion of the survey that I already filled out on Monday. And she added that she and the other diamond desk reps are the highest level of customer service. I told her that was sad to hear. I'm just about sick of Hilton. I had a horrible experience at Hilton Richardson Dallas when I stayed on July 11th, and no one even got back to me about my complaint. I have tried to attach photos from that night...housekeeping hadn't cleaned the room that we were given upon arrival, and there was an infestation of fruit flies at the bar. They were even collecting them in a dish in their glass food display. The unkempt man that served us at breakfast was scratching all over his body and hair and then gave us our plates. Totally repulsive. But yet...no call back from Hilton regarding those issues either. I'm disgusted at the service because I have spent so much money with Hilton over the years and when I needed them most, they abandoned me. I get that everyone was busy due to the fair...but it's not ok to promise something that you can't make good on...and then when you break your promise that someone relies on and it's to their detriment, it's not ok to tell them how unhelpful you are and then say you're the highest tier of customer service. If I could give 0, and that is zero stars, I would... I travel a lot and I am a diamond member - always stay at a Hilton property when I can... This was the absolute worst experience ever... Used a digital key and put my things in the room... Went to dinner and came back and asked for a traditional room key... Ali keyed some new cards and overrode the digital key... Could not get in our room... Ali tried again, could not get in our room... Ali was the only one on duty in a four story hotel with almost 200 rooms... He could not figure it out... Had to call the GM who has taken over an hour to get here and we are still waiting... DO NOT STAY HERE!! read more
