We had a simple overnight on our way back home. It was a delight. Check in was fast and seamless. Indoor pool for the children. Sadly, no hot tub. Woke up the next day to the best Hyatt breakfast I've ever had. I've been frequenting Hyatt for the past 10 years. This breakfast was phenomenal. Fresh fruit and yogurt options like usual. Eggs we awesome, not your typical egg in a bag taste. Mound of hot bacon and sausage. They also had real cut potatoes that were fried. Egg quiches were an excellent addition to the normal items on the buffet. Finally they had a small salsa and cheese section to fix your scrambled eggs with all sorts of options. Well done Hyatt. We may have to keep this as our go to on this route back home. read more

We had an overall great stay, though we did run into an issue with the microwave not working, which management resolved. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is excellent and close to plenty of dining and shopping options and with easy access to the expressway. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh fruit, a fruit bowl, scrambled eggs, both bacon and sausage, baked bread, and a rotating option of waffles or hash browns during our stay. A little confusing at first - it's a Hyatt Place and Hyatt House all in one big building. The difference? Suites (House) vs typical hotel rooms (Place). The lobby, bar, breakfast and every other area are shared. Unless you're hard-over for a suite, choose the cheapest option. The location of the hotel is amazing - lots of excellent restaurants directly across the parking lot. High end ($$$$) to Shake Shack, brewery to seafood shack. There are a few spas and a couple of shops tucked in and a cute little park. If you're up for a brief walk, there is an IKEA a little way across a relatively quiet road. Our car never left the parking lot. The hotel itself was very clean and all of the front desk employees friendly and helpful. Hyatt usually has one of the best free breakfasts of all of the chains (well, there are those Holiday Inn Express cinnamon rolls). This particular breakfast bar was exceptional, even by Hyatt standards - all of the fixings for breakfast burritos including several different salsas and HOMEMADE guac. The fruit was fresh cut, not something from a bag or previously frozen and the variety of buffet choices was better than most. The hotel was crowded but the buffet always full. The breakfast staff absolutely shined. Our room was cookie cutter Hyatt Place. I do need to mention the towels - they were so soft and fluffy that it almost felt like drying with a blanket. We opted out of having our room cleaned but had no problem getting extra towels and paper products. We were in town for the eclipse which we planned on viewing from the immediate area. At the last minute we decided to drive a little further south - about an hour and half from Fishers. Honestly, if I had to do it again though, I'd still stay at this Hyatt Place. The reviews are all over the place on this one. Many seem to come from the Hyatt House side. We stayed on the Hyatt Place side. I'm a Hyatt member and I feel like that may have helped us out? Anyway, check in was super busy. They were behind on rooms, but ours was ready within 10 minutes and they let my kids and my husband and I pick out any snacks or drinks we wanted as an inconvenience. The room was great, had all the updated features. The area is amazing. There is a large green space, fire pits, tons of restaurants and shops. A big top golf across the road. There is so much to do! My kids enjoyed the large chess set out front. There are many signs with rules around the lobby which makes me think that some guests are problems (no kids unattended, no outside alcoholic drinks) but we had no issues. We had my kids out late and never heard from anyone. The hotel is very busy. If you're looking for a romantic and quiet get away, this isn't the spot. The rooms were quiet but the lobby was always bustling. The free breakfast was awesome! Such a nice perk. I love the decor and the design too. Highly recommend! read more

Good location in the Fishers District with many businesses within walking distance. The Hyatt is close to 69 and has a private lot. Right now, (2023) there is construction behind the hotel. I did not notice any loud noises due to the construction. The breakfast is traditional such as bacon, pancakes, potatoes, fruit etc. I usually call the front desk for extra blankets and a crib for our son. The staff member is always timely and friendly when getting our extra items. Anyways this is a great location and would recommend others to book a stay here read more

We stayed a week at this hotel while we attended a wedding in the area. The hotel is in a great area, close to everything you would need. The check-in was painless and the room was very spacious and clean. We were asked if we wanted daily service and we opted out. The hotel is right across the street from Sun King brewery and several other restaurants and bars. On their busy nights several of their guests parked in the hotel lot limiting parking close to the entrance. We figured out that parking on the backside of the hotel got us closer to the lobby entrance. Their were several elevators and we had no problem catching one when needed. They have an indoor pool but we never had to time to try it out. The morning breakfast was very good, they alternated the offerings each day so you get a good selection. The only negative was the cooling system in the room would shut off at night. They have a sensor in the room that signals the system to turn off when the room is empty. Unfortunately, I would wake up at night sweating and adjust the thermostat to get it to come back on. I mentioned it to the gal at the front desk when we checked out and she seemed surprised it worked that way. read more

Definitely a "don't care" approach to running the place. The dishes in the room? All in the dishwasher. Clean, but left for us to put them away. And the refrigerator has the hinges on the wrong side so it opens to the wall instead of opening to the kitchen. The mattress is pretty hard and the pillows are, I think, the worst I have ever had in a hotel. Think bags of beanbags. Actually worse than that. The morning breakfast - awful. But there is a good greasy spoon restaurant about a 5 minute walk away. So go there. And after 15 minutes of trying to pay with gift cards, we finally gave up as the people at the desk had no idea how to do it. read more

Stayed for a week on business. Had items stolen from my room and there was zero investigation or accountability

I don't even know where to start with this place. We were recommended this hotel by my aunt who was blocked off a "row" of rooms about 6 months in advance for my cousins wedding. I didn't have the best experience with the hotel staff as I was trying to extend my stay one night. I was told "They don't handle scheduling", which is fine. They would then transfer me to the call service where I would sit on the phone for an hour (no exaggeration) just to have them say I can't find your hotel room reservation there's nothing I can do. After doing this twice and wasting 2 hours I finally got a hold of someone at the hotel, Kelly, who helped me out. She was sweet to me. Unfortunately my Aunt did not have a great experience with her and received a bug attitude. Moving on we have a great time at the wedding and return that night. A friend of the family has her teenage son out in the lobby with her at about 10 pm. The bartender Dante, comes to her in an aggressive demeaning tone and literally said "there is no reason you should have your child out past ten. This is adult time he needs to be in your hotel room". Mind you there is no policy stating this. The only sign in the hotel room says, "All minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult". That's it. This wasn't the only person we saw this happen to. There was another guest who was yelled at for having her son on the patio. He treated her like shit as well. Next problem, we were sitting on the patio and Dante comes to me and says "lady we are not allowed to have a six pack or any outside drinks in the hotel". First of all it's a patio of the hotel... not a restaurant... a patio at a damn hotel. Second there are no policy's here saying this? If there was a posted sign no problem we get out of here. There's more to it but I'm just over talking about it. These are just a couple events that really tainted our experience with this Hyatt. Dante was the biggest problem. His attitude was absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. I am so pissed about this. I wish I would have listened to reviews before agreeing to WASTE my money here. read more

Stayed one night for NYE. COVID protocols are not in place. Only saw one employee who was wearing a mask. Guests are walking around everywhere in the common areas without masks. Social distancing was not happening in the dining area during breakfast which we observed as we were leaving. Otherwise, the room itself was great. If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. My husband and I unfortunately used them for our wedding hotel. The plan was that I would stay there on Friday night, get ready during Saturday morning and my husband and I would stay together on Saturday night. We also asked them if we could use their bar for our after party and they were very enthusiastic that we could and that they would stay open. I had inquired about ordering pizzas through them which they said was also great. Until I went there to place the order and found out they don't even HAVE pizza on their menu. Then they made it a big deal saying I couldn't order pizzas and eat them in the Bar since it wasn't their food... I didn't find any of this out until the day before the wedding. Well turns out we never even had to worry about it because even though I was assured the bar would stay open- and even had a friend call to confirm and let them know that a large party would be coming in a couple of hours. We get there and the bar is completely closed. They made it some big thing saying they didn't feel safe leaving the bar open. I'm not sure exactly all of the details but it made no sense. I asked why I wasn't called. We were the only wedding party staying at the hotel. They knew it was our plan. They just didn't care. We tried to get them to open it back up but they wouldn't. We brought in our own alcohol and hung out in one of the common rooms which just isn't what anyone wants to do ON THEIR WEDDING NIGHT. It took my friends 35 mins to go get alcohol. Something that could have been avoided if they had just let us know that they were closing it. Or opened it up for our party of 20 people. My venue had this hotel as a recommendation- so I'm posting this for other brides out there. Don't make the same mistake I did. It was so disappointing. read more

I've stayed in this hotel now 5-6 times. Each time, we are so pleased with our stay. It's clean, comfortable, easy to access, and the staff are great! We had a celebratory trip recently, and they made it such a special stay. When I told them why we were there, they left a treat in the room for us with a card. I would have to say this was the worst ten day experience I had in a hotel, I book a room got to the hotel the gave me the wrong room told me I had to wait five days to get right one cause they over booked. I booked a specific room with a large refrigerator because we were staying for over a week and I wanted to cook and store groceries. The fridge they gave me was so tiny I could barley put anything in it . Next the room was dirty , the silverware was rusty just a mess. The next thing that happen because the staff is really you and texting on there phone , the young man attempted to switched my room and double charged my credit card , 1045.00 which I paid before my arrival , this took 4 business days to get back. This review is for Hyatt House (the two hotels are connected and there's not a separate listing for Hyatt House.) I'll start with the positives: Good location, restaurants nearby, beds comfortable & it was nice to have a kitchen. Now the downsides: Maintenance is clearly neglected (garbage disposal wasn't working & the kitchen light flickered), no housekeeping is provided, most of the dishes were in the dishwasher when we arrived (just LOVE unloading a DW when I start my vacation), the cable was out (clueless front desk), there's no water pressure and the pillows are ROCKS. Add to that the fact that we had gift cards to use and the front desk had NO idea how to credit us for them (on top of being surly about the whole thing.) The only reason we would ever consider staying here again is based on the proximity to people we were visiting. read more

This is NOT a family friendly place... our friend was YELLED at for having a TEENAGER out past 10 but there are no rules stating so. Dante is a complete asshole, for lack of a better word. He has yelled at me and my family 7 times today for having outside beverages on the PATIO and for turning the fire down because it was on and it was 80 degrees out... NEVER BRING YOU KIDS HERE. Terrible hated the experience. I wouldn't wish my experience here on my worst enemy... the bar tender Dante pushed us off the property for having a beverage on the damn patio. If there was a written policy saying no drinks on patio we would have had no problem. He just kept making rules up as he went. When we asked for the sign that had it posted and then stuttered because he didn't have it. NEVER AGAIN with this place. read more

I was greeted by a very friendly front desk person. The location is brand new and surrounded by nice restraints and shops. Parking is very easy and walking around is very enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I thought at $91 the hotel rate was solid. I have not had the breakfast so I will update but everything else about this location is great. read more

Wow, I just read the other experiences and am shocked. Our stay was amazing! Parking is FREE which is a huge bonus considering how some other hotels operate and there was plenty of space. The attendant over the phone and in person was very friendly and when we asked if we could add a fridge and microwave to our room he asked to upgrade for only $10 more and let me tell you, this upgrade was worth it! There a mini-kitchen and living room! The room just like the lobby Is very clean and if we did not have a strict schedule, we would stay an additional night. Plus, there are a TON of diverse restaurants in walking distance of the hotel and a huge grocery store a few minutes away. We were very pleased with our experience. read more

This past Saturday we were confirmed to host an after party at the Bar located in the Hyatt Place. We planned this for months and I called and confirmed at 9pm (during the wedding reception) that the bar would be open upon our arrival. I was assured it would be and that 11pm was their rush so no issue. We of course walked in at 11 and the bar was closed. No one contacted the bride or myself to let us know so we could make alternate plans with our guests. I asked to speak to the manager and had to talk to her on the phone because she had left for the night. She said the decision was made because lives had been in danger. I asked her what happened and she said she could not tell me due to that being a HIPAA violation. So I have 25 guests staring at me wondering if they should be in fear too especially since the AGM had left. I asked her why every time we confirmed the bar would be open we were told it would be but then when they closed it they couldn't give us a call. She said that was not her job. I replied that this is a joke and she said "no, you're a joke". I really could not believe it. She asked my name and I spelled it and then when I asked her name she said Carly and I could grab a business card for the spelling. She would not spell it for me. The whole situation was disappointing and infuriating. We could have taken our business somewhere else to begin with and it turns out we should have. read more
