I booked this place online the week of my arrival. I usually have good luck with Staybridge suites however this particular room was terrible. I'm not sure if you can tell from the videos in the photos but the overall where and tear is horrible and the room has been completely neglected. The little work that they have done only demonstrates that they probably hired someone who's never done any basic Handyman or carpentry work. For example, the shower has two shower curtain curtains, but only one curtain. And the secondary curtain that they installed is hanging by a string and was mounted on top of what looks like a small piece of wood to get it to the height where it should be. Nothing in this room was done correctly, and you can see the sea popping and bursting in the ceilings all throughout, probably due to either water damage from prior years and overall neglect again to be able to patch it up. The furniture was filthy as well as demonstrating a lot of wear and tear again. You can see from the vent picture as well just how filthy this place really is. It was really a huge disappointment on top of that. I happen to be here the weekend that the entire place claimed that they were sold out because of numerous sports events and visiting families with children. This made for a really loud weekend overall. Especially since my room was right next to one of the baseball team members. There are so many options in the Fisher Indianapolis area for hotels and this one is definitely one I would not come back to again and I strongly encourage people to really look at options

They bought a right smelly mess. But I appreciate the effort that will be made and the support they are giving to the incredible staff members. They are the absolute best and deserve far more. I do hope the next time we come to town things are much improved and the hotel is in better shape and smells better. Like the sewage and smell of death... please locate the source. To the people who are long term or short term guest- do better. Stop smoking cigarettes and pot in the hotel, there are children running around. If you have roaches try getting rid of them before coming into the hotel. There was no cake covering them. Seeing roaches is not ideal as we don't want them or for them to hitch a ride home with us. We're not into it. And lastly the vents, hvac system needs to be through cleaned or replaced. I fear I have a sinus infection now. And they smoke detectors.... Bro are they rigged? Cause the way they'd be acting and blinking when hit with light/reflection... I don't know but it was weird... maybe check on those. I'll end with this.... If it wasn't for the salt add we were going to leave immediately after check in. Again, every single staff member we interacted with... we thank you for your kindness and respect, doing every you could to make it a better stay. And I hope that the owners do everything in their power to take better care of each and every one of you. You deserve it wholeheartedly.

It is near a shopping area, so if you forget anything their is an Ulta, Dicks, Drugstore, grocery store etc all within less than a mile. Also there is plenty of food choices. An asian steak/sucshi house, city BBQ, Chikafilet, wendys etc.... That makes for a great location. The hotel itself is well staffed and clean. The luggage valet trolleys were a little dirty. They have free breakfast in the AM, offer team and coffee 24/7, have free apples at the desk. Plus a large pantry of add on foods/items to charge to room. Nice. I left my toothbrush at the last hotel, no problem, tey comp'd me a new one. Room is spacious. Lots of storage. Luggage rack, fairly comfortable bed. Room not overcrowded with furniture. Thats a plus. Decorated on trend. Bathroom has glass door not flimsy curtain. Also nice. What deductd a star is they choose to use what looks like a matress pad for their comforter. It is so thin it barely keeps one warm. Plus they fail to disclose to make the air lower at night you must adjust the wall unit AND window unit. Odd. That shouldnt be a thing one needs to do. My child left his blanket in the bed, and when we called to try and get it back, we were instructed to go through a third vendor they use. The front desk (Steve) was nice enough to comp our breakfast. However, I had to keep up with housekeeping to make sure they did their job. No one wants to do that when they're on vacation. Turn the fan on overnight otherwise when the air goes off it is hard to sleep. The location would be great for someone who needed to be in Indy or in the Keystone area but didn't want to be in the city. It's ten minutes to 86th street. It was a little bit over 10 minutes to downtown Carmel and about 8 minutes for food options and a Meijer. No breakfast, but the attached Element does have breakfast included. The shower was a decent size, but the water pressure was very gentle, almost like a spring rain. If you take longer showers because of the softer pressure, make sure to keep the bathroom door open because the lights are on an automatic sensor and will turn off, leaving you in complete darkness. I appreciate the property's effort to be environmentally friendly, but when you're trying to rinse shampoo out of your hair, a little more time (and light!) definitely helps. The plant-based hair products were a nice touch, though. The heated saltwater pool was relaxing and very clean, great for unwinding. I also highly recommend the restaurant. I ordered cheeseburger, which was cooked perfectly and not overly seasoned. Breakfast the next morning was just as good. The strawberry pancakes had fresh strawberries inside the pancakes, and the omelet was airy, flavorful, and tasted very fresh. If you dine there in the morning, ask for Jane. She's an absolute sweetheart and brings such a bubbly, positive energy to start the day. Overall, it's a very nice hotel with great staff and a welcoming atmosphere. They are pleasant, attentive and efficient. Check in was quick and easy. Pricing is considerably less than other nearby hotels. The rooms are a little dated, but they are clean. There is a microwave and large fridge in the room. The TV was easy to use and the channel selection is good. The bathroom was clean. No pets are allowed. Air conditioning worked fine. I had a minor issue with the fridge making noise, but I didn't complain about it. They probably would have changed it out. The breakfast is decent. The scrambled eggs tasted fresh. My husband liked the sausage. The fresh biscuits were goods. There were bagels and breads that I did not try. Coffee is available all day and in the evenings, fresh popcorn is available. The parking lot is easy to get in and out. There are several nearby good restaurants that are not chains. I'd stay again and recommend.

Cleanliness was OK, but there were some stray hairs on the bathroom floor. I woke up before 5 AM, and even though I needed more sleep, I decided to get up and leave because it was so damp and uncomfortable in the room. Coffee was undrinkable. Very weak. The person who brewed it probably never drank a cup in their life. I will NOT stay here again.
