Severs made a lot of conversational noise during the presentations which was distracting. It needs a bit of a refresh as it's a bit beat up.

I started with the charred octopus, which was plated beautifully and tender with just the right hint of smokiness. The accompanying elements added brightness and contrast, making every bite layered and memorable. For the main, I went with the seared steak medallions, perfectly cooked to a juicy medium-rare, paired with a silky mashed potato purée and vibrant green sauce that brought a fresh pop to the dish. Rich, flavorful, and thoughtfully balanced. The surprise hit? The crispy Brussels sprouts. These were next-level--golden brown, slightly sweet, and addictive. The perfect mix of texture and umami. The service was polished and attentive throughout, fitting for a private club experience. Whether you're here for a special occasion, business dinner, or just want to treat yourself, The Tampa Club delivers a memorable fine dining experience with top-tier food and views to match.

The building is beautiful; you pass thru an unusual (in a good way) bookstore, candle pour bar,…read morecoffee bar, tea bar, a gift shop with very unique items, & then into the restaurant. Paintings adorn the walls inside, but you can also dine in the "outside patio" with a glass ceiling overhead & lots of plants around. Our server, Cami, was pleasant & gave us time to peruse the menu. The option of breakfast served all day was a surprise. We decided to try three appetizers: the whipped feta, buttermilk fried chicken & fried Brussel sprouts. A glass of sangria & iced tea for beverages. Everything was delicious & exceeded our expectations. Cami checked on us regularly asking if we'd like to order anything else. Would definitely put the Oxford Exchange at the top of our restaurant list when going across the bridge to Tampa. Already thinking about the French toast for the next visit.

Oxford Exchange was such a great experience from start to finish…read more It's way more than just a restaurant -- it's a bookstore, coffee bar, candle-making area, champagne bar (perfect for a girls' day or bachelorette outing), and a cute gift shop with little trinkets and goodies. The entire space has a lively but still relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay and explore. We stopped in for breakfast and everything was excellent. Our table ordered the Brussels sprouts, avocado toast, French toast, a pot of tea, and an Old Fashioned, and the total came to about $87. The French toast was honestly some of the best I've ever had. Service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made the experience even better. After breakfast, we walked around and checked out the rest of the property, including the upstairs seating area and additional spaces. There's so much to see here that it feels like an experience more than just a meal. One tip: definitely make a reservation ahead of time because it stayed packed the entire time we were there. Can't wait to come back!

I come over here all the time on my nightly walk and people watch. I also have been to Splitsville a bunch for bowling and eating. The LightHaus Beer Garden is at the middle of the wharf and is a nice place to watch a game, catch a beer, and enjoy the Tampa weather. Sundays are usually the best day to come here because then you can watch the cruise boats sail away. The Tampa sign is right next to here. There's not a giant Sparkman Wharf chair that you can get your picture at. Oh, and don't sleep on JoToro. I like getting Mexican food over there and it's very cheap. Once again, another great spot to people watch.

There were quite a few food places to choose from and a nice grassy area to sit outside and eat, which gave it a relaxing atmosphere. The downside for me was that there really weren't many shops; actually I believe I only saw one shop and it was for dogs. I think it would be much better if they added more shops and a souvenir shop would be awesome so visitors and cruise travelers could pick up some unique treasures while they're there. Overall, it's a decent spot to grab a bite and relax for a little while, but I was hoping for a bit more shopping and entertainment.
