Initially, he blamed the company for a 3 week delay but I saw when they finally came out to the site to measure (via CCTV) and a group chat was formed as I showed my rendering but my mock-up didn't have 2 planes like the unit has in place. Here's the issue: it all felt scammy once I went in person to get my cabinets a week after the due date. First due date from this company directly: July 28, 2026. I called she said we haven't been paid. Then, when she saw I was serious she offered to call the Contractor. I texted the Contractor, I'm on the phone for cabinets and they say they haven't been paid. I'll call when we hang up. Before I could call the Contractor .. he texted as below/attached. Next due date: August 17th after she confirmed via text that they had received payment from Contractor on 7.28.2026. Now, Saturday, August 1st we get a long corporate type text to the chat saying production is slow because Monday, July 27th storms impacted power and they lost 1 machine. If you're asking like me Why not say that July 28th?? Well, who knows but I explicitly wrote and asked "If this is Cici/CC..?" to that corporate like text. She confirmed via text it was her. I asked any additional delays, problems or foreseeable issues please write me at least 1 week out. Y'all, Sept. 3rd and no cabinets nor are they assembled neither did I get contacted as we agreed. She said she could not find the group chat. Then, the story starts from there and changes up. We listened intently and then I had to state: Ok, you didn't get updates after telling the GC you need payment. Then, why not call me as you agreed? Vendors don't contact clients Me: yes, normally that's the case but in this instance YOU AGREED TO CONTACT ME. WHYnot do as agreed? I could have paid you and this all be done. See screenshots. I couldn't be shown anything at the start when we arrived because it doesn't have face and customs aren't done but 2 hours later and police are gone I'm offered to see the cabinets + told it can be done in 1.5 weeks. I asked to see my farmhouse sink. She finds it we thank her and I'm ready to leave. I have never cried in public before in my life but y'all we have NO KITCHEN, NO BATH, NO HALLWAY..no flooring and no contact. This company was responsible for the kitchen cabinets. They Took $500 from said Contractor on a $5500 job without informing us or reaching out as agreed that he didn't pay in full on 7.28.26. The text just says ". That's not even half down. No updates about delivery from lack of payment but an update about weather inpacting the site. At this point, the cops on the scene told her don't do business with this person and here we are. Walking out with no cabinets. No price adjustments. My sink and "pieces of the cabinets" was finally shown 2 hours after I initially asked to see "Ok show me what you got .." I'm so tired and done. Edited 9.4.26 to Update PLEASE NOTE: I NEVER PAID THE COMPANY DIRECTLY & I DON'T KNOW HOW ANYONE COULD GET THAT IMPRESSION WHEN I SAID THEY TOOK $500 FROM THE CONTRACTOR.
