    Pork belly poutine- so incredible
    Rita K.

2 words- Salt overload! I've been wanting to try this restaurant for so long and finally did last night. The appetizers- pork belly burnt ends poutine and calamari were delicious. Seasoned beautifully, crispy, soft, just perfect. Our main courses however were all so salty, my sister in law was unable to finish her gochujang pork ribeye and kimchi fried rice, every bite of chicken, rice, fries was completely overpowered by salt. Our waitress was really nice and I would come back for appetizers but dinner was so underwhelming.

Visited Hyde Tap and Lounge on a Thursday night. Customer Service: We were greeted right away and seated at a table in the bar area. I'm not sure why the host didn't ask if we preferred dining room or bar seating, but we later moved to a booth in the dining area. Our server was very friendly and professional, consistently checking in to make sure we were doing well. Food: We ordered the salmon with risotto and a side of sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, the salmon was extremely salty, and the risotto was undercooked and still quite hard. The sweet potato fries were also over-fried. Overall, the food we had was underwhelming. Ambiance: The restaurant is beautiful and modern. It seems like a great spot to hang out or go on a date. Based on the food quality, I'd recommend it more for drinks than for food.

Rom Com Ricky Cocktail (Gin, Lime, St Germain, BBB Syrup, Soda)

Came for an after-dinner desserts and drinks. Hyde has slightly dark lighting and feels like a lounge, where we could sit and chat until they closed down about 11 PM. Service was initially prompt and frequent, but during the second half of the night I wanted to flag the staff to order another drink and I had trouble finding the waitress. For food we got the beignets from the dessert menu. This was a 10-piece of puffy square doughnuts with a sprinkling of powdered sugar, and came with two dipping sauces. I liked the size of the beignets, it was perfect for a single bite but enough surface area to get sufficient sauce. The caramel sauce is thicker and sweeter, and I preferred the cream sauce. I thought the dairy and lighter sweetness paired well with the light and fluffy and already sweet beignets. I first checked out the cocktail menu and selected the Rom Com Ricky. With gin, lime, St Germaine, soda, and their in house BBB Syrup. The syrup is made from Balsamic, Butter, and Black Pepper, and was an easy to sip and refreshing drink. The BBB was the top line taste, with the balsamic bringing a slight acidity and the pepper contributing slightly to aroma and then some extra zing on the back of the tongue. The lime also contributed acidity and some tartness, an acceptable pairing with the BBB. I enjoy the terpines from Gin but could not detect them here, so a neutral spirit like vodka could have been swapped and it would not have changed my drinking experience. I was still thirsty, considered other cocktails but was entranced by the tap list. The on-tap list is sizeable and has a lot of international variety. Many options caught me eye, and the waitress was able to answer questions and also let me sample a few before making a decision. I selected the 14. Varietal Mango Bazango Tropical Wheat, it had an aroma of mango and drank like a typical light wheat beer. I could easily have had two or three in a sitting, it was refreshing and easily shippable. I also tried the 28. Bale Breaker Mango Summer Ale. I found the aroma of mango to be even stronger, yet it too had a muted mango taste while drinking. The bitterness was higher than then Tropical Wheat, which the menu lists as an IBU of 30. I could certainly see how a bitterness balanced with sweetness from mango would be a great and refreshing drink during a warm summer. Lastly I tried the 41. Winsome Ciderworks Asian Pear Cider. Strong pear aroma on top of a moderately sweet cider. I prefer my ciders a bit less sweet / more dry, but I liked the pear aroma. Looking at the menu I should have tried the 42. Tieton Cranberry Cider since the tartness of cranberry could have balanced the sweetness of apples. Guess I will just have to return for more drinks and try out more of the food menu too.

Artichoke dip, Pow Pow Shrimp, and Ocho tequila reposada

We came In the day before Valentines Day and the vibe was on point. Servers were great, especially Chante and Matt. She recommended the pow pow shrimp and artichoke dip . Both were great appetizers, sports channels on, cool people, great food, and great selection of tequilas!

This place was kind of a surprise. I was on the hunt to watch a football game that was not on network TV. Wait staff and bartender were great and pretty cute too boot! Beer was nice and cold and the grub was good too. I need to go back.

I'll be honest, this probably was some of the worst service I've ever had. But because this is gonna be a food base review, I will only deduct one star from the service portion. I didn't order a bunch of things here. I just had the chorizo nachos and those fell flat on its face. The chorizo was cold and there wasn't even much of it. It just taste really bad and the fact that it was $20 makes it worse. I feel as if the true value of those nachos are maybe seven dollars. Also, I forgot that I asked for no jalapeños and no onions and both of them were in the nachos. I walk into the restaurant no one's out front and I go up to the bar to place an order and the lady is just looking at me as if I'm an intruder . I am a foodie ... and I would love to try something else off the menu, but unfortunately, they haven't convinced me enough. So I most likely won't be back. Beware.

Steven, I'm horrible with names but I've written it down in my phone because I felt so bad not remembering it even though you told me twice. So when me and the family come in again I will make sure to never forget your name , it was super embarrassing to say the least, I'm sorry. With that being said, OMG, Tri- Cities finally has a fine dining restaurant with amazing steak and service!!! There is a saying, a good steak doesn't need any sauce and I can say that was a fact with the ribeye I ordered. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection. My wife got the chicken pasta and wow was the sauce creamy and rich with flavor. Hands down the best place to eat in the tri -Cities, I can't wait to come back and try everything else. The drinks were perfectly made! The Beignets were fluffy and melted in your mouth. The sauce they were paired them with was unreal, I can't wait to share them with my little ones! I really hope this place stays around for a long time, the Tri-Cities really needed a place like this.last but not least, wow, the staff was on top of it, I haven't had good service like this in a long time. It really makes it easy to tip when the server is kind and attentive. Thank you so much for your service and recommendations, you made our date night memorable. My belly is full and my heart is happy, thank you!

Tapp'd hits that rare sweet spot where it works just as well for a date night as it does for a full blown game day hangout. The headline feature is the self serve tap wall, which is basically permission to become your own bartender without the awkward small talk. When your glass runs dry, you don't wait around, you pivot. Try something new, double down on your favorite, live a little. And if beer isn't your thing, the bar staff can mix a cocktail that reminds you why bartenders exist in the first place. Now, the food. This is where people get blindsided, in a good way. The Quesabirria Tacos, Asada Street Tacos, and Taquitos de Pollo aren't just "good for a bar," they're flat out legit. The kind of food that makes you pause mid conversation and reconsider your priorities for a second. Service deserves its own shoutout. We were there on a Sunday night, and our server didn't miss a beat, checking in, keeping things moving, and somehow making it all look effortless. Worth noting: same ownership as Tri-City Taps, which explains why the formula works so well, great drinks, great food, and service that actually cares. Bottom line, if you're local, this should already be in your rotation. If you're visiting, this is one of those "don't leave town without it" spots.

We wanted an upscale, nice restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and landed on this Italian restaurant from a local friend's recommendation. I called ahead and made reservations. If you do this, beware it's AI taking down your request. So, I called the phone # listed online. It took me to the Lodge (hotel) where this restaurant is located and I was then transferred to the restaurant. I let the worker know it's my anniversary we are celebrating so I wanted it to be extra special and if I could have the best window seat for our dinner. She said she made note of it. Perfect! (So I thought). We arrived a few minutes early on a glorious beautiful day. As we checked in, the manager (I assume) was helping the nightly music act with her equipment, so she was preoccupied. (Nothing wrong with that!). The concierge was going to put us in a booth. I piped up and told her about my reservation. She then took us to the window "area" mind you, there was a window seat open, but she sat the menus at the table with our backs to the river view. ‍ The manager overheard me grumbling to my husband, offered us the window seat, but at that point I was already seated and reading the menu. We stayed where we were originally seated. The music was just outside the door, kind of loud to have an intimate conversation, but that was ok b/c the musician was good. Our server, Lacey was really nice, attentive & informative. The food was delicious! Look at my pictures, they do reek of deliciousness. Because it was our anniversary we splurged and had an appetizer and dessert. Appetizer: Frito Misto, basically like tempura. Fried calamari, zucchini, red peppers, onions with a delicious dipping sauce. Was not disappointed. Dinner: I had the spaghetti carbonara, which I've never had, the egg yolk was fun to mix into the dish and create this rich, delicious flavor with the bacon. Just spectacular. Hubs had the Ricotta gnocchi and loved it. He said it would have been even better if they had a little bit more sauce from what seemed to be braised pork. He dipped some of his gnocchi in my carbonara sauce and that seemed to satisfy him even more. Dessert: the manager offered us some bubbly at the start of our dinner, but Hubs had already ordered an Old Fashion, which also did not disappoint. I opted for no booze and she offered dessert instead, which we took her up on. We shared the cannoli. I love chocolate, hubs loves fruit, so it was a match made in heaven-- just like us. It was the perfect ending to the evening. I would typical dock a star for the mishap at the beginning of our meal, but the girl was "new" and I'm sure her manager had a teaching moment with her. The service and food all but made up for the mishap.

About 30 minutes after the order was placed some salads came out, but not all of them. Then entrées started to arrive again for some people, but not all. The last three individuals to get their food were served around an hour and 15 minutes after the order was placed. I ordered the chop salad and the bruschetta appetizer. The chop salad had very little salami or cheese as described on the menu. The bruschetta was actually bread slices, not toasted, with a soft cheese spread and raw mushrooms. It was not very appetizing. My husband ordered the pasta carbonara and both of us, after one bite, described it as incredibly salty. We are huge carbonara fans and have ordered it at restaurants and made it at home many times. He picked out the guanciale and left about a third of the pasta because the salt level was off the chart! If we had not waited so long for our food already and been just the two of us, we would definitely have sent the pasta back. Much better restaurants in the area. Hopefully they get their act together because the location is awesome.

In reality, it's a raw cabbage taco with a hint of fish essence--or perhaps a cabbage taco with a fish surprise, if you're lucky. After she gave up and ate just one, she brought the rest home. I actually measured the piece of fish inside: a staggering 1.5 inches by 1 inch. That was it. One single, tiny nugget per taco, buried at the very bottom of the shell. Because of this, you have to choke down several mouthfuls of completely raw cabbage before you finally reach your single bite of fish. To make matters worse, that one bite of fish was terrible. They apparently brine it in a way that leaves it aggressively, unpalatably salty. While the menu claims the taco comes with "slaw," it is just heaps of dry, raw cabbage. There was so much of it that you couldn't even see the three corn tortillas until you went digging through the vegetation. The sheer lack of seafood in a "signature" fish dish is appalling. Save your money--unless you really, really love overpriced plates of shredded cabbage.
