Great Food. Awesome concept with the beverage wall. Excited for it to be in West Richland.

The Miyazaki was just whiskey and soda water. It seemed like the other ingredients were missing. Hard to drink. The waifu was obviously missing the Thai basil. It was still good though. We got the edamame, veggie rolls...with chicken, and the chicken satay. The edamame was good, except just the top layer had salt, with a pool of water on the bottom ones. Weird sauce with it. Maybe a thick peanut sauce? The veggie rolls were as such. 5% chicken 90% lettuce. The chicken satay was very excellent. Both sauces provided were very yummy. The szechuan beef came out like an Asian fajita plate. It was good, except unreasonably spicy. The server was rude to me several times. For no reason. I'm a pleasant man! He complemented the lady on her dress, said mine was not nice and handed her the bill at the end. This is despite me ordering everything for us and also going to ask him (at the bar) for additional silverware and napkins. The table next to us had to go ask him for additional water. Which he provided a pitcher for them to pour themselves. You decide. Anyways. The atmosphere was cool. However, the other reviews are correct. If you closed your eyes, you'd be at a rave. I think this restaurant is new. The feel is American/Asian and felt relaxing. I had a cheeseburger…read morethat was excellent this meat was not cooked from frozen. I asked for medium rare and it was a perfect cook. Came with seasoned fries. My s.o. had the steak salad which was largish and very fresh mix of arugula and romaine and butter lettuce. Service was good even though the mgr/owner was training a new hire. Just an elevated cafe but miles apart from carts or fast food. This cafe could clone itself in other parts of Tri-Cities and do well.

My wife recently ordered the "signature" Fish Tacos from 3 Eyed Fish, and to call this a "fish…read moretaco" is a massive stretch. In reality, it's a raw cabbage taco with a hint of fish essence--or perhaps a cabbage taco with a fish surprise, if you're lucky. After she gave up and ate just one, she brought the rest home. I actually measured the piece of fish inside: a staggering 1.5 inches by 1 inch. That was it. One single, tiny nugget per taco, buried at the very bottom of the shell. Because of this, you have to choke down several mouthfuls of completely raw cabbage before you finally reach your single bite of fish. To make matters worse, that one bite of fish was terrible. They apparently brine it in a way that leaves it aggressively, unpalatably salty. While the menu claims the taco comes with "slaw," it is just heaps of dry, raw cabbage. There was so much of it that you couldn't even see the three corn tortillas until you went digging through the vegetation. The sheer lack of seafood in a "signature" fish dish is appalling. Save your money--unless you really, really love overpriced plates of shredded cabbage.

We were visiting the area from Seattle and this ended up being my favorite restaurant of the trip. Food: Chips, guacamole, and salsa trio were all delicious. No, this isn't the type of joint that gives you free chips and salsa but hardly anywhere does that anymore and the quality here is also better. On top of that, they do give out these free munchie snacks that were addictive and unexpected. I ordered the chicken enchiladas that had the tastiest salsa verde. Portion sizes were also larger than expected with three per order. The black beans could have been seasoned more but that's my only minor complaint. Drinks: We ordered the house margaritas as they were on happy hour (on Sundays starting at 2:30!). Nice surprise to get happy hour prices for Sunday dinner. The drinks were tasty - not too sweet and just enough tequilla to pack a punch. Ambiance: Fun! My girls loved the pink chairs outdoors and overall a good vibe. This isn't a 3 margaritas type place - it's upscale Mexican and they do a good job. We brought our kids and they were accommodating despite not having an explicit kids menu. Worth checking out for adults and families alike.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and on point throughout the visit. Service felt polished and welcoming. I ordered the Cadillac Margarita and it was excellent. Smooth, well balanced, and easily one of the highlights of the night. The atmosphere also leans toward a higher end cantina feel. Warm lighting, nice decor, and a space that feels like it wants to be elevated. Then there is the food. Instead of the usual chips and salsa, they brought out fried Mexican wheat crisps. They were fine, but they felt more like something you would grab at a Hispanic flea market than something you expect at an upscale cantina. Not bad, just unexpected, and a little confusing given the setting. We ordered the flautas and those were genuinely delicious. Crispy, flavorful, and paired with a generous portion of guacamole that really worked. No complaints there. The pozole pappardelle had good flavor, but calling it pozole based felt like a stretch. It tasted good, but it did not really hit the mark of what you expect from pozole. The amount of chicken was also pretty light, especially for a $28 dish. At that price point, you expect a more generous portion, and it just was not there. My wife ordered the chicken tortilla soup and it was very good. That said, it tasted different from the last time she visited. Not necessarily worse, just different. That suggests to me that there may be some variation depending on the day, but the flavors were still solid. Overall, Perch feels like it is caught in a bit of a food limbo. The atmosphere suggests a higher end experience, but the limited menu and some of the food choices do not fully match that vibe. It is not bad, and there are definitely things done well, but it does not quite come together as a complete experience. I would go back for drinks and happy hour, but I am still undecided if it fully delivers on what it is trying to be.
