I want to share my experience so future clients can make an informed medical decision prior to receiving services from this nail salon. On 12/4 I had a gel manicure and gel pedicure with a referred technician - One week later I developed severe itching between my toes, skin maceration, followed by painful skin fissures ("paper-cut" like tears) between nearly all of my toes, burning, and major sensitivity. My Primary Care Physician has confirmed tinea pedis - caused by dermatophyte fungi (not properly cleaning, sanitizing pedicure tubs, or sterilizing tools). I am now treating what appears to be a fungal skin infection that developed shortly after the service. While I can't say with certainty how or where the infection was acquired, the timing directly followed my pedicure (timeline aligns with the exposure & development of a fungal infection). Untreated or possible progression of this development could lead to Secondary Bacterial Skin Infection, Cellulitis, Lymphangitis, or Sepsis - becoming very serious. I did not notice any visible sanitation concerns during my visit, but given my outcome, I strongly encourage future clients to: * Ask about foot bath disinfection procedures * Ensure tools are properly sterilized * Avoid services if you have any cuts, shaving, or broken skin I hope this review helps others take precautions. I recommend monitoring your feet closely after pedicure services and seeking care promptly if symptoms appear.

I enjoyed my first visit at Hydra Nails & Spa! The place was clean and beautifully decorated! The staff were super sweet and gave me exactly as i requested! Their prices were also very reasonable compared to some other places. Will be a returning

My first visit was scheduled. Brian did my manicure and another lady did my pedicure. I like the selection of colors but most of all I like the accuracy. The price on the menu is why you pay. They don't pressure you to tip or force you to pay with cash. My most recent visit was a walk in and they were accommodating and gave me a realistic wait time. The space is clean and if they can't do what you ask they communicate that clearly. I am becoming a regular.

I really liked this salon! Everyone was friendly and they were able to do the design I asked on my natural nails. Check in was very easy. I was able to text their number to show what nail design I wanted and they were able to quote me a price before I even came to the salon. They give you a hand massage after the manicure is done. I went to this salon recently and the nails I left with are not worth the price I payed. The nails themself are thick, pointing upwards and do not fit the thumbs very well. The polish is chunky and my cuticles were not pushed back before the nails were done so you can clearly see small gaps of my natural nail. I am really disappointed because I have heard many good things about this salon. read more

Best experience that I've had at a nail salon. I took my 3 year old daughter for the first time and went with two other friends of mine. The entire staff was amazing and they were so great to my little girl. She kept asking me the next day if we could go again. Everything was clean and sanitary. I received a wonderful manicure and pedicure today from lexi and Lynn. Lexi even gave me a free shoulder and neck massage as my nails dried. I just moved here from south Florida 6 months ago and I have been searching for a nice salon that does a great job. The salon is very clean! The manager there was cleaning every spot of the salon. When you arrive, they check your temperature, you get sanitize equipment for your pedicure and manicure. They offer you refreshments and snacks while you are there. The entire staff is very nice and make you feel so welcomed. They have thousands of beautiful colors. The spa chairs are new and so relaxing. I've been coming here for a little over a year now and it's great every time! They are busy on weekends and weekdays after 5pm so make sure to plan accordingly. The atmosphere and salon is very clean and they always have cute holiday decorations. Every nail artist has been super nice and accommodating and offer pillows, and small drinks to clients. I always get the gel option as it lasts me up to 6 weeks for a pedicure and the extra cost ($17) is worth it. Will return! read more

I'll be honest, my pedi was so relaxing and nice. I enjoyed it so much. When it came to my manicure it looked really nice at first. I got SNS which is something I usually do on my natural nails and it always stays when I'm working. But this particular time after I was done at work I noticed that 5 of my nails cracked and the others were coming loose from my nails. I went back the next day to have them redo them thinking that maybe the dip was too thin. But that's not the case. They redid them and as soon I go back to work (the same day) 2 of them crack. Ben was the nail tech that helped me. Everything he did, he made sure it was what I wanted. He was amazing. I am writing this review 3 weeks later because I wanted to see how the nails held up. None are coming up or even ready to pop off 3 weeks later and even yesterday I received a compliment about how nice they look. I stumbled on this place by accident but love it now. I wanted to try a new place because my last experience was awful. This place was absolutely wonderful! I got the green tea pedi and it smelled and felt amazing. They really took there time massaging and even gave me a quick shoulder massage which was great! The chair massage was nice and firm. They offer complimentary drinks and snacks. The only bad thing is that google has them placed wrong and I couldn't find it. It's located to the right of massage envy and GNC. Right now I saw they are offering buy one get one free Pedicures for couples Feb 1st-14th 2021 for Valentine's Day. I will be back again!!!! read more

The girl that did my nails cut me on every nail. My nails were bleeding and she kept buzzing over my nails. My daughter had a guy that did not listen to what she wanted and would not cut her nails as short as she wanted. He questioned her on how short she wanted them and that she wanted a tip on them. Excellent customer service and great work! I love going to get my mani and pedi here because I feel welcome every single time. Also, I get a regular mani that lasts for about a week and a half and my regular pedi lasts about 3 1/2 weeks which is very uncommon. She saw the nail polish was uneven but didn't try to fix it until I said something and right after they started talking in a different language. I recently visited Hydra Nails & Spa in Cedar Park and was excited to treat myself. Upon arriving, the check-in process was quick and easy, and I was seated promptly. Ali was my technician, and she was very friendly, welcoming, and engaging throughout the appointment. She listened to my preferences and was receptive to my suggestions during the pedicure. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the overall quality of the service. I was not given the option to have clear polish applied or to have my nails buffed. There were uneven areas on my nails, calluses that were not completely removed, and cuticle oil appeared to be applied in a way that masked some of the imperfections. Once I got back to my vehicle and took a closer look, I noticed several issues that I hadn't seen immediately. Including the back of legs having wax still on it. Ali provided excellent customer service and had a great attitude, which I appreciated. However, the quality of the pedicure itself did not reflect the cost of the service. After paying $70 for the pedicure and leaving a $14 tip, I expected a much more polished and thorough experience. I would rate 3.5 overall due to the finished product and 4 for Atmosphere and facility. read more

I went to Hydra with my daughter in law. I haven't been there in years and was pleasantly surprised. I love the new decoration and the color changing lights. The staff is super friendly. And they did a great job on our nails. Time spend there was adequate. I especially enjoyed the massage. We both went with the citrus pedi and I certainly want to try one of the other options next time. My daughter in law had the powder dip and it looks great. She went with a French and it looks flawless. We will go there again next time we need a mani or pedi. read more

AMAZING! I haven't gotten a pedicure in years because I'm afraid of accidentally getting hurt, but I said why not try this place out? And omg...I couldn't be happier. My girl did such an amazing job. My toes are soooo happy! Everyone was very kind and pleasant. They even had cute dog and cat videos on the tv- which I was absolutely in love with! Haha. In the beginning I had a few different great people do mine and my daughter's nails, but now Minnie does mine and Rosy does my daughter's.
