I had an extremely disappointing experience at Restore Hyper Wellness in Mount Kisco…read more Before my service even started, I went to the front desk and clearly explained to both the employee and the manager, Mark, that the card on file would not be able to be charged that day, but that it would be able to be charged the following day. I explained this multiple times to make sure there was no confusion, and I was repeatedly assured that it would not be a problem. After my service was completed, however, I was suddenly told that I had no choice but to pay that same day. I was then made to wait an additional 30 minutes while they dealt with the situation, unnecessarily wasting my time. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that they contacted my mother, despite the fact that I never provided her phone number, never gave them permission to contact her, and was never asked for permission to do so. I found that extremely inappropriate and concerning. When I tried to address the situation with Mark, his attitude was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He told me, "Next time, don't come to this place if you don't have money." That is an absolutely unacceptable way to speak to a customer, especially after I had clearly communicated the situation beforehand and was told it would be fine. Unfortunately, the entire experience left a very bad impression. Between the poor communication, the unnecessary 30-minute wait, contacting someone I never authorized them to contact, and the way I was spoken to afterward, I cannot recommend this location. There are much better ways to treat customers.
