This person took on a job that he was not able to do correctly. We needed our under-mount sink…read morereplaced be cause it had a crack.He broke the old sink off and drilled the broken pieces off of the counter. Instead of mounting the sink with the hardware it came with, he chose to glue it in place. The house got filthy and cloudy with particles from the sink he drilled off the counter. The counter top got split during the install. And the dishwasher broke. He held the glued sink with wood, so no kitchen for three days. Also, he broke the copper pipe that leads to the dishwasher. He said its rusted, but is a new Miele dishwasher and the piece was not rusty at all. We are hoping he returns to clean the glue off the sink, and replaces the copper pipe. He was supposed to be here at 10 am. Shame on me for choosing the cheapest option. He came in a truck held together with bungee cords and no sign to indicate that this is a business, which is sketchy and not legal. He is not answering texts or calls to finish the job. I paid him already. He never returned calls or came back.

BEWARE -- Deceptive actions…read more I hired this company for a two-project job and paid a deposit. One project was completed, but the second was repeatedly delayed. When I attempted to schedule completion, the owner claimed the remaining balance was $1,000 more than the amount shown on both the signed, dated invoice and the digital invoice. After I insisted on honoring the agreed price and provided copies of the original invoice, the owner stopped responding. I discovered he went in the software and retroactively altered the invoice, increasing the cost of both projects. Upon sharing my knowledge with owner via text with no response, I checked again and saw he attempted to delete the digintal transaction invoice all together. Glad I have paper invoice signed and dated, time stamped copy of digital invoice during our texts, follwed by the time stamped alteration, and then the timestamped message showing he attempted to delete the transaction from his records. I requested a refund for the uncompleted work and attempted to resolve the matter amicably, but the funds were not returned and company owner remained silent. Before hiring, I highly recommend verify the company's New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor license through the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs, request proof of liability insurance, and keep copies of all contracts, invoices, payments, and communications. If you proceed, get everything in writing and have it signed so you have your proof like me when filing with appropriate athorities.
