My AC compressor randomly stopped working after he left and the company said I didn't have enough r22 to power it. Sounded shady bc it was running when he was here. A month later, I decide to have a different HVAC company come take a look. They said my wires were disconnected outside and the ground wire was disconnected and it reset the breaker. The tech was obviously trying to get a commission off a new ac from me. I had to buy window units during that time just to get by in this heat. Wasted money that I don't have! The valve power head was replaced to complete 24 volt call back to unit. Test ran and verified proper operation of the unit. The technician was very knowledgeable, neat and professional. On the first cold day this winter he claims the heater is all rusted out in the exchanger and has to be replaced, along with the entire system because a new heater can't work with an old air conditioner. Our neighbor suggested we call their guy. He's been in business for 30 years. Needless to say, the heater was not rusted he showed me the unit was very dirty, the fan motor and wheel were clogged with dirt and there were two dead birds in the chimney.
