I needed my 80 year old basement garage floor epoxied. I had a bunch of companies provide quotes…read more Some actually provided quotes without even coming out and inspecting my garage. I didn't trust these quotes at all since I knew my old garage floor was not in great shape. Obed showed great knowledge with epoxying floors. He pointed out a bunch of cracks and pits that would need to be opened up and filled. My garage also had something strange where someone had extended the footing with additional concrete. This caused extra concrete ledges around my entire footing. Obed said he could address all of it. I also needed trim installed and he said he could do that as well. Even with the trim install, his quote came out competitive with the other quotes. Obed did an amazing job with the garage floor epoxy and the trim work. I was very impressed with the end result. I know he went above and beyond to take additional time to fix issues so that the end result would be good. For example, we agreed to have one small part of the extra concrete ground down so the floor would be flat. As they were prepping the other extra concrete for epoxy, the concrete actually started cracking and falling off. Without charging me extra, they also removed this extra concrete so the end result was an entirely flat floor without any additional concrete ledges. After grinding the floor, Obed realized that it would best to level the floor. Again, without an additional charge, he leveled the floor. He also filled in a bunch of concrete holes and voids on the concrete step by the door leading into the house. When installing the trim, they took the time to specially contour the bottom of the trim to match the many dips in my old garage floor. While leveling did help with the dips, my garage floor just had some extreme dips. In the end, I was beyond happy with the end result. I originally hired him to epoxy my floor, but he ended up fixing so many different things and made the entire garage better because of it.

We changed an old tub for a wonderful upgrade, expanded the shower area, with high-end glass, added excellent tile work throughout (he has a great tile guy), changed counter-tops, and even moved a wall of 50 year old cedar panels to extend an existing wall. Were there hiccups along the way, sure. But now, several years later we are thrilled to use these rooms every day. We work at home and the lifestyle enhancement has been profound. Truth be told we did a good deal of research before and chose well with our components and visual choices. The paint work was superb (he has a great paint team too). The team had an amusing cast of characters and I enjoyed them. They took tremendous care to keep the spaces (bedroom next to the bath) absolutely clean and protected.
