This place is close to our house, and we feel so lucky because they have made a stressful situation seem so easy. There are so many washers and dryers there and it is easily customizable. You can be there for as long as you want/need. There is an app you pay with, and it keeps time of the machines you are using. We usually have 2-3 loads a week and have had no trouble finding machines. Typically, we put our laundry in, walk over to our gym for 30 minutes, come back to put our clothes in the dryer, and finish our workout for the last hour. It is so clean in there and they have a lot of areas for folding. You can purchase laundry supplies there and the women working there are so kind. As for taking a long time for items to be returned after alteration, I took two shit's in today to be hemmed. I observed a large amount of clothing to be altered. When you're the only phone company in town, you must understand the place will have a lot to do. In the case of having alterations done, this is a hand-on project and it's likely you won't get your items back within a week or so. She does good which is why she has so much to do. Your only other option is to locate an individual who does alterations in their home.
