After Xfinity raised the price and internet speed wasn't fast as promised, I decided to try Hyperfiber/1gb for life. Since they already installed the cable on my area so the installation was fast. Everything was done In few hours and my internet is FAST, I used Speed Test to check and it clocked at 899mbps top speed, normally it's around 300-500mbps depends on where the meshes (BEACON) are placing, much better than Xfinity and it's just an extra $4 than Xfinity and best of all, that price is FOR LIFE. I don't have to worry about future price will be higher. So far, I don't experience any outages yet. FYI, I have it for a month now. Customer service and tech support was awesome, they guided me through setup for my phone WiFi. It worked like a charm. I wish that Hyperfiber have an app like other internet companies so I can monitor bill pay, outages map... instead of search it on Google. Overall, I'm very happy with the service that Hyperfiber have provided. JSYK, they are currently having a promotion $40/mo for the first two months. What's not to like? read more

HyperFiber - Internet Service Providers Near Me - Fort Myers, Florida

We started using HyperFiber in Port Charlotte about 3 weeks ago. At the beginning I thought it was going to live up to its promises, but the service had become worse as each day passes. We cannot watch a TV program without losing connection at least once every 30 minutes. If we have more than 2 live connections at a time, the speed drops significantly. We were using Comcast. Before that we used T-Mobile. This is far worse than both which were at least predictable services. Very disappointing given how long we had to wait for installation once we contacted HyperFiber. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I signed up for hyperfiber and paid my money on June 15. I received an email stating they would contact me shortly and an email address that I could email if I have questions. It is now June 26 and I have heard nothing. I tried and was told that I was not part of the email group and so it bounced back. I tried calling. It said I will be on for less than a minute and I gave up after 10. This is a scam. Within a week, there was an outage that lasted hours. No customer service to provide answers or an outage map with updates. Thankfully, my wife forgot to cancel Xfinity so we were back up quickly. Finally got to CSR after waiting 45 minutes and canceled my service. I'll check back in a few years to see if they can improve service reliability and customer service. For now, stay away. **Worst Internet Provider ever** First install date was cancelled and they didn't notify me. New system was not up and running. 2nd install date everybody shows up in personal vehicles. (contracted labor) No HyperFiber labeled trucks. Internet goes down 1st day at 12 am till past 9am. 2nd day Hyperfiber repair tech shows up and tells me they are working on the system at night. Customer support denies they are working on the system at night. Days 3-7 after install. Internet continues to go down at 12 am sometimes past 8 or 9 am in morning. Customer service continues to deny they a working on the system. Day 7. I file a better business complaint and FCC complaint. If you search for Hyperfiber complaints there are internet threads of problems. I regret switching my ISP. Customer support continues to lie to me. I now call this service HyperLiars instead of HyperFiber. I have not had 24 hours of internet at all in my first week. I was promised speed and reliability in the ads. Speeds are fine Reliability and customer support horrible. New network in my area is not ready for prime time. You have been warned. read more
