So far one of my favorite climbing gyms I've been to, it has a good amount of variety with maybe the only downside so far is that it's so new they don't have gym equipment, yoga mats, and hangboards to workout with I will say this is a slight comparison but since Movement Mountain View also opened in the past two weeks it adds a nice option for climbers who were typically neglected between Santa Clara and San Francisco so these two gyms help fill a much needed void adding more activities in the ever so typically quiet city of Redwood City What makes me prefer this over the newest Movement gym though is that this place is cooled, has a private parking lot, near the freeway exit, and has the option of strolling in the park nearby. Most importantly the place keeps it cool air inside unlike Movement who has a tendency to not run A/C which really creates a sauna in their gyms which makes it unenjoyable at times So far probably the most spacious gym aside from the ones I've been to in Texas which I can see being nice once more people come but often there's maybe a handful of people at reaches a maximum of around 100 people which is low considering the size and other climbing gyms They also have a nice sauna, new lockers with 4 digit roller codes (think luggage style locks), and despite their website saying they don't have towel service yet they do albeit limited and you'll see them make a towel animal Once this place adds gym equipment, yoga area, finalizes the top roping section, and adds some warm up/hangboard area I can see this place being a staple in the community. There's enough space to accommodate more than their flagship location, Pacific Pipe so hoping for some quality equipment as Pacific Pipe finally started ordering more machines this year after having been open for a few years now P.S. Apple Maps takes you to the private parking lot, Google Maps still takes you to the side of the building for some reason

Really cool bouldering gym with a great range of routes for all levels -- from beginners to advanced climbers. The facility is spacious, clean, and feels very new. There's even a small workout area in the back if you want to get in some additional training. The bathrooms are surprisingly nice -- complete with saunas and showers -- which is a huge plus after a long climbing session. Overall, an awesome spot for both serious climbers and casual gym-goers looking for a fun, modern environment!

New location windows completely covered with brown paper and a sign out front saying "this location is permanently closed." There was a door slightly ajar and what looked like people and possibly equipment inside, though I did not get a good look. I pulled the door partially open to go inside and had to let go because of a phone call. It looked like some people saw me. Took a few minutes to end the call, and during that time, I heard someone come up from the inside and close and lock the door. I called their phone number and no answer. Closed business? Moving? Just unfriendly? No idea, but it seems not to be a place to go. Save yourself some time and go elsewhere.

Rich the owner is so kind and tentative and should be proud of the space he's cultivated. If you are looking for a space where you can go in and out quickly this is a spot for you. I've never had to wait for a machine. They have all of the essentials for lifting cardio machines and sometimes there's a cute puppy or two. Lots of well seasoned lifters here as well as newbies. Great vibe and place!

The men's locker room and showers are always spotless, which says a lot about how much care the owner/staff put into the gym. Even the music and overall vibe are perfect, it's one of the only gyms where I don't even feel the need to wear earbuds because the environment itself motivates me to train harder. You can really tell this gym was built with passion and pride, and that's rare nowadays. It became part of my routine and honestly one of my favorite places to decompress after long work days. I've recommended it to friends and always spoke highly of it because it truly stands out from the typical commercial gyms.

Just a great experience, and not very busy when I go. Check it out and treat yourself.

What really impressed me is how intentional they are about matching you with the right coach -- not just someone with credentials, but someone who fits your goals, your energy, and how you like to be coached. I didn't realize how much that would matter until now, but the difference is huge. Every session feels like it's actually building toward something, not just burning time. If you're feeling stuck in your fitness routine or you want something way more personalized than the usual gym setup, I highly recommend checking this place out. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and has everything I need for a great workout. What really sets this location apart, though, is the staff. Every team member I've interacted with has been kind, respectful, and genuinely helpful. They go out of their way to make sure everyone feels comfortable and supported, no matter their fitness level. If you ever have a question or need assistance, they're always approachable and resourceful. I especially want to recognize the manager, Taeyah, who clearly sets the tone for the entire gym. You can tell that she takes pride in creating a positive and welcoming environment. Because of her leadership, the staff consistently delivers great service and maintains a friendly, judgment-free atmosphere. Overall, this gym is a fantastic place to work out, whether you're just starting your fitness journey or have been at it for years. Highly recommend!

During a recent incident, a white woman with red hair wearing a long dress entered the women's locker room and was reportedly startled to encounter a man inside. Whatever one's views on locker room policies, it was clear that she was upset and seeking reassurance regarding her safety and privacy concerns. Rather than the situation being calmly addressed, it reportedly escalated. A Hispanic man covered in tattoos allegedly confronted the woman and told her to "suck his cock." The exchange became heated, front-desk staff appeared unable to effectively restore order or provide the woman with a sense of security, and the situation ultimately escalated to the point that police were called. What concerned me most was not simply the disagreement itself, but the apparent inability of staff to de-escalate the conflict and ensure that a member who felt frightened or vulnerable was supported. Regardless of anyone's position on policy issues, no customer should leave a gym feeling threatened, intimidated, or abandoned during a dispute. I would strongly encourage Planet Fitness corporate leadership to review this incident, reach out to the woman involved, and evaluate whether additional staff training, security procedures, and member-support protocols are needed. Members should have confidence that safety concerns will be taken seriously and handled professionally. I would also encourage Planet Fitness to consider offering at least some women-only facilities, women-only workout areas, or designated women-only locations among its many gyms. Providing additional options could help accommodate members with differing comfort levels and reduce the likelihood of similar conflicts in the future. I am posting this publicly because I could not locate a working email address or clear reporting channel to bring these concerns directly to company leadership. I hope Planet Fitness will provide more accessible ways for members and community members to report serious safety concerns and receive a meaningful response.

I checked this…read morespot out based on the reviews and some recs, but I legit had to do a double take because what I heard and what I saw were completely different. Equipment: If stuff isn't broken or bent, it just isn't there. I've seen gyms with half the space have more kilos and power bars available. Not to mention they have an entire area dedicated to machines that look like they only get used when the cleaners dust them off. I heard the owners have been promising more stuff, but nothing's come except a small ah set of plates. Facilities: Bathroom was straight up vile with a busted toilet seat. Floors are legit slimy, and I saw maybe two people tops wipe off their equipment. I asked some of the other members if the gym ever brings in a maintenance crew to clean the place down, but they told me the cleaning is done by like a family and kids LMAO Management: Day-to-day is run by this dude named Jostin (Justin?), but outside of my first visit I barely saw the man. Bro is either not at the gym or locked up in the back office. Only time I remember seeing him was when his doordash arrived. The other owners are barely in too, and I heard the main dude isn't even in state anymore??? Cost: Game time. Based on what I've said, guess how much they ask for a month. Two-fn-hundred without a contract, 150 for a 6 month. Place thinks is premium-premium but is giving vibes that make 24 look like Equinox. The members must love burning cash because they could do so much better for much less
