I pulled the door partially open to go inside and had to let go because of a phone call. It looked like some people saw me. Took a few minutes to end the call, and during that time, I heard someone come up from the inside and close and lock the door. I called their phone number and no answer. Closed business? Moving? Just unfriendly? No idea, but it seems not to be a place to go. Save yourself some time and go elsewhere.

Two mats and a whole empty mat storage shelf?). Mirrors are dirty day after day, and there are towels and tissue paper are on the floor. Gross. If they're having trouble hiring a cleaning crew, they need to pay more. My regular 24 hour Fitness is packed at 7:00 am; this place was empty, probably because it's a gross place to work out. During a recent incident, a white woman with red hair wearing a long dress entered the women's locker room and was reportedly startled to encounter a man inside. Whatever one's views on locker room policies, it was clear that she was upset and seeking reassurance regarding her safety and privacy concerns. Rather than the situation being calmly addressed, it reportedly escalated. A Hispanic man covered in tattoos allegedly confronted the woman and told her to "suck his cock." The exchange became heated, front-desk staff appeared unable to effectively restore order or provide the woman with a sense of security, and the situation ultimately escalated to the point that police were called. What concerned me most was not simply the disagreement itself, but the apparent inability of staff to de-escalate the conflict and ensure that a member who felt frightened or vulnerable was supported. Regardless of anyone's position on policy issues, no customer should leave a gym feeling threatened, intimidated, or abandoned during a dispute. I would strongly encourage Planet Fitness corporate leadership to review this incident, reach out to the woman involved, and evaluate whether additional staff training, security procedures, and member-support protocols are needed. Members should have confidence that safety concerns will be taken seriously and handled professionally. I would also encourage Planet Fitness to consider offering at least some women-only facilities, women-only workout areas, or designated women-only locations among its many gyms.
