I had a very small white ink tattoo done with these people a year ago on the inside of my wrist at the Viking Con in MD where they were selling overpriced fast tattoos. First of, they charged me $100 for a 1.5"x0.25" tattoo which literally consisted of 3 lines and which took only about a minute (!) to do which means they price their job at over $600 an hour! The lines were too thin, he rushed me off and didn't want to make them thicker, so the ink mixed with my blood and turned almost pink. Then tattoo faded after just a couple of months to almost invisible. I tried unsuccessfully contact those people a few times, no one ever returned my calls. So, finally, after a year, this November, I came to the Viking Con again where they were doing tattoos again and tried to speak to two women who were managing the booth about the tattoo and was literally brushed off - the lady pretended to be fascinated by a dog that walked by and completely ignored me. I tried to get her attention, but her and her coworker kept playing dumb and turned away from me completely. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I don't recommend using the "artist" who's obviously there for a quick buck and cannot back up his work. This is not my first tattoo (I have had tattoos done in another country too) but this was by far the worst experience. read more

Amazing! We came in at 4pm on a Sunday and when I say we I mean 9 of us and they stayed while we all got our piercing and tattoos. Everyone was so professional and funny. From the owners to the front desk to the artists. Thank you so much for staying late to take care of us. We got this tattoo in memory of a family member lost and you all made our tattoo experience so special! We will be back soon! read more

This was a great experience. I am very big on reviews whether good or bad. The young lady that does piercing and sells the crystals was such a Breath of fresh air. She was knowledgeable. She was sweet. She was compassionate and she handled my piercing so quick that I barely noticed. I purchased some crystals and she recommended a song to help me with my anxiety. This is fully directed at Dex, everyone else the times I was there respectful however Dex asked for full payment upfront for a full wrap around forearm tattoo he quoted me $600 which I paid in full as requested, the first appointment was finished then towards my second appointment he canceled on me one day before the appointment n after that he then reschedule again then my next appointment he finally followed through he finished another part until he couldn't go further due to my skin swelling the next time he reschedule then upon the next scheduling I went to get the final session done 1 hour drive I show up we getting started and he noticed he forgot his journal so I drove one hour for him to spend 10 minutes on the tattoo only just for me to go back after that we rescheduled n guess it again he canceled on me making some lying excuse that he would be out the shop for a while due to to some family issues but I called a couple times asking if dex was there they said yes n I hung up I proceeded to text Dex asking if I could reschedule and he said he wasn't there another day my gf called they confirmed he was there so I texted dex and same bullshit excuse that his dad supposedly had cancer n that he wasn't at the shop when yet the owners confirmed he was I asked for a refund back n he denied it he also mis sized my tattoo and made it to small so it doesn't even wrap around my arm like it was supposed to, today after 3 months of trying to reschedule I texted him to reschedule n he said that was fine but he would not be finishing the gap he left n only a moon and some clouds that were left to be done on the top but the middle where he left a gap he said he wouldn't finish I proceeded to ask for a full refund or at least half $300 n i was denied.. I have a business as well with over 200 5 stars reviews nothing less and I know I wouldn't treat a customer like this, this is honestly sad unprofessional, horrible work ethic, rushed work, and just done recommend at all take your money else where or if you go just don't go to Dex he will steal your money and reschedule and make you wait months to finish your tattoo or not finish it at all read more

My friend and I have been to Hypnotique Ink on Friday the 13th three separate times now and enjoyed every experience! This one today was especially awesome. Kiana did my tattoo as well as two of my friends', not only were they clean and flawless but she was super dope and friendly. She even put the stencil of one of our tattoos on my friends nephew who came with us. I usually go to another tattoo artist for my other tattoos, but I will definitely be back for Kiana before the next Friday the 13th! read more
