You have to find the section to register for programs/classes. Make an account. It will show all programs/classes offered. Click on "Aquatics". Scroll down and click on "Recreational swim ticket Aquatic Center- $7". You will add all family or account members you need. When you add to cart it will discount the price for kids ($5) or babies (free). They have a list of people attending so no printed ticket required.

My daughter who didn't want to put her face in, now in flipping and swimming underwater with comfort and after just 3 weeks. The best part is the classes have been free or just $10 because of LA County's everybody swims program. One thing to note is that the instructors change in the classes. Sometimes you'll have an instructor for a few days in a row. But often they're switched from day to day. I could see that being an issue for some as it could be hard to track progress. But it hasn't been a problem for us. I also like that it gets my kids used to learning from different people. I also feel that my kids are safe because there is always an extra life guard outside of the pool watching them during classes. The facility feels clean considering how many people go through it. We took afternoon classes and it didn't feel busy. My friend took an evening class and she said it was very busy. I hear that the open swim times can get very busy too. Parking is plentiful though some of the spots are small.

Plenty of parking in the surrounding sports complex which includes a nice skate park and multiple play structures with plenty of shade and grassy areas for play.

Before moving forward, we met with 3 different contractors, and Mike was the only one who really understood our vision. We didn't want to tear out our existing concrete or patio cover, which made the project more complicated, but he was able to design around it and still deliver exactly what we were hoping for. That flexibility was a big reason we chose them. We broke ground on 9/15/25 and everything was complete by 11/10/25!!! It was crazy how fast everything went and he definitely did an amazing job coordinating all the teams to finish in a timely manner. We went with a custom setup that included a raised spa, Baja shelf, and two illuminated sheer descents, and everything came together really well. The spa might just be one of the biggest in town! The water features at night give the whole backyard a clean, finished look, with the lights. We also added the iAquaLink system, which has been super convenient for controlling everything from our phones. Like any build, there were a few minor things that came up along the way, but nothing major, and Mike has been responsive when we needed him. What stood out most is that he didn't disappear after the job was done-- Mike continues to be helpful when we've had questions or needed small adjustments. That kind of follow-through matters with a project like this, and it's a big reason we'd recommend CATAK. I hope sharing what happened helps other parents make an informed decision. My child was a complete beginner. After only his third swim lesson, one of the coaches loudly said, "He's everything but nowhere near ready." My child heard the comment. Whether the coach intended it that way or not, saying something like this loudly within earshot of a young beginner is discouraging and unprofessional. Beginners are there to learn, and feedback should be constructive, especially for young children. As the weeks went on, a different coach was assigned to my child, and things initially improved. Then, without much explanation, my child was moved up to the next level. I wasn't concerned about him advancing quickly. In fact, I would have been perfectly happy for him to stay at his current level longer. My priority is that he truly masters the skills required for each level before moving on. The promotion felt rushed, and no one clearly explained why he was ready. The communication afterward was equally disappointing. We were told by one swim manager to change to a different class time because of the level change. When we returned, another swim manager looked at the schedule and told us we were "supposed to be in the 12:30 class but didn't come and wanted to change the schedule," making it sound as though we had caused the problem, even though we were simply following the instructions given to us by their own staff. When I asked which coach my child would have, I was met with a sarcastic response: "You don't remember the last coach you were with?" This was a perfectly reasonable question because my child had just moved to a new level, and I knew coach assignments could change. What made this interaction especially disappointing was that the parent immediately before us had asked the same question and was answered politely and cheerfully. When I asked, I received a sarcastic response instead. The contrast in how we were treated was difficult to ignore and left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. Things became even more uncomfortable when my child was initially assigned to one coach, who audibly sighed upon seeing the assignment. He was then reassigned twice before ultimately ending up with the same coach who had previously made the "nowhere near ready" comment. During that lesson, I watched closely because my child was visibly anxious. The coach seemed impatient and dismissive. At one point, he aggressively pulled up the sleeve of my child's rash guard instead of calmly helping him. My child would try to communicate, but the coach often seemed more focused on getting him to comply than listening to what he was trying to say. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated observation. Throughout the program, I saw other coaches lose their patience with young children as well. I witnessed coaches speaking to children in irritated tones, yelling instructions while children were already crying, and continuing to push them instead of helping them calm down and regain confidence. I understand that teaching swimming requires firmness and that safety is the priority, but there is a significant difference between being firm and showing little empathy toward frightened beginners. Swimming is not just about teaching strokes. It's about building confidence and trust, especially for young children who may already be nervous in the water. Patience, encouragement, and kindness are just as important as technique. We completed the program because it had already been paid for, but this experience left us disappointed. We will not be returning and will be looking for a swim school where young beginners are treated with more patience, empathy, respect, and professionalism.

She creates a really comfortable, welcoming environment and explains things in a way that makes you feel confident. Robert's classes are always waitlisted and it makes sense. He challenges you without overdoing it and keeps workouts creative, especially with the reformer. Sarah is great too, very positive energy, especially in the mornings. I just wish I could take more of her classes. Walter is also really knowledgeable and just very solid overall. Shoutout to the front desk and management team. Gail, the general manager, is amazing and has been so supportive of my fitness journey. She really makes people feel seen and comfortable. On Monday, I attended a kickboxing class in the studio and the room was extremely hot due to a lack of air conditioning. The thermostat showed a temperature of 90 degrees, creating unsafe and completely intolerable conditions. It was so uncomfortable that I genuinely felt like I might faint, and several other members also looked visibly affected. It was clear the environment was not safe for a high-intensity workout. Kickboxing is already a demanding physical activity, and without proper cooling or ventilation, it becomes a real health risk. This goes beyond discomfort and enters the territory of heat exhaustion and dehydration. As a fitness facility, LA Fitness has a responsibility to ensure workout spaces are safe, and this location failed to meet that standard. Because the class could not be safely completed, I am requesting that this issue be properly addressed and corrected to ensure the studio's HVAC system is fully inspected, repaired, and maintained so that safe temperatures are consistently upheld during all classes. I am also requesting written confirmation that the issue has been resolved and that appropriate corrective action has been taken. I expect a written response confirming the steps taken to fix this issue, along with documentation of the corrective action, no later than 7 business days from the date of this message. If I do not receive a timely response within that timeframe, I will escalate this matter further. At the time of the class, there was no immediate acknowledgment or resolution offered. Members should not be expected to risk their health or lose value due to preventable facility issues. I strongly urge management to take this seriously, ensure proper temperature control for all future classes, and provide written confirmation that corrective action has been completed. Safety should always come first, especially in group fitness environments. I hope this issue is resolved promptly and appropriately so that no one else has to experience unsafe conditions like this again.

One year after the completion of our pool, we now have a broken empty shell of a pool in our backyard. There are cracks all over the pool, including one that goes entirely across the middle of the pool from edge to edge. It won't hold enough water to run the filters for even a single day. Ken just told me today that his insurance is unwilling to cover the repairs because of his poor work. This is after several months of dealing with him making promises that are broken at every turn. I now face the prospect of paying double to have another contractor remove the pool Gold Coast constructed and properly install a new one at twice the cost of the original. Guarantees are worthless if the contractor is unable to to support them. (Continued 2021) After paying lawyers tens of thousands of dollars and dealing with the legal system over the course of the last couple years, I've finally reached a settlement with the insurance company representing Gold Coast Pool Construction. It's not pleasant, it doesn't make up for the lies, stress, and years of lost enjoyment of my own home, and it certainly wasn't cheap, nor does the settlement cover all of my expenses. Gold Coast Pool Construction did not stand by it's contract. They built a broken pool and could or would not provide repairs, and Ken repeatedly lied to me about what he was doing. He left me with bills to cover things he tried to do to repair the pool and was a thoroughly unpleasant person to work with.

But this is Santa Clarita and everyone knows it's dry and windy so it's going to be a little dusty from the door constantly being opened. My experience with staff has always been positive. My encounters with Joel (the manager for a few years now) and Riley, has always been positive. They are friendly and polite and they do a great job of keeping the gym in order. Being that this gym has a more upscale feel and is available to members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with limited staffing, members are expected to police themselves and follow the rules. It's not only ownership that expects this, but it's other members as well. That's why we pay more for membership here. If I wanted a messy gym where nobody cares, I'd go to LA fitness. Members are held accountable of they commit rules violations and some people don't like that. This isn't LA fitness or EOS where if you break a rule, nobody says anything (which is also one of the reasons I really like this place). If you don't want a problem with staff, follow the rules. Don't open the door for anyone who can't get in on their own, don't bring in guests (or your children) during unstaffed hours and return the equipment you use. It's common sense and courtesy. There are signs up with rule reminders around the gym and at the front door and everybody gets explained the security rules upon signing up. If you break the rules, you're probably going to get contacted by staff. Most members appreciate the attention to safety and enforcement of picking up when you're done. Others appear to get upset because they didn't like being told they violated a rule and come to yelp to complain. Don't judge this place based off a few negative reviews left by people who are upset they were contacted for rules violations or didn't know how to read the contract they signed. It's a great community, it's safe and has everything you need to get a great workout!

She is a liar and does not have good business ethics. Never do business with them. I wish we chose another venue.
