Rebeca, our designer, was professional, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented. What impressed us most was her understanding of both design and construction. Because our project involved moving plumbing and walls, she ensured every design decision was both beautiful and practical. She thoughtfully guided us toward a timeless design, reviewed the estimate thoroughly upfront to set clear expectations, and remained involved throughout the project. Arturo, our project manager, was wonderful to work with. He was experienced, dependable, and easy to talk to. It was obvious he genuinely cared about doing the job right. He kept the project organized and on schedule, stopped by several times a week to check on the progress, and was always available whenever we had questions. His leadership kept the project running smoothly, and we always felt confident that the project was in good hands. The construction team - Rolando, Rodolfo, Cesar, Freddo, and Jorge - was fantastic to work with. They were always punctual, respectful, highly skilled, and a pleasure to have in our home. They kept the workspace clean and organized every day, and the quality of their work was excellent. Rolando and Rodolfo handled the demolition professionally, Cesar kept the project running smoothly and paid close attention to every detail, Freddo did a great job with framing, molding, and painting, and Jorge's beautiful tile work truly elevated the finished bathroom. Remodeling can be stressful, but this project never felt chaotic. Everything stayed organized, and we always knew what was happening. The finished bathroom is beautiful, functional, and turned out even better than we had hoped. The project was completed on time and within budget. Throughout the process, it was clear that Palazzo is a well-run company that takes pride in the quality of its work and cares about its customers. We wouldn't hesitate to work with them again and would confidently recommend them to our friends and family.

Using some inspiration from our Pintrest boards, she came up with designs unique to our house and aesthetic. Julie ordered all the materials on our behalf and identified a fantastic contractor who carried out the remodel with Julie's oversight. Julie took so much of the process off our plates, which was great because my wife was pregnant at the time haha. Shawn took a look around, listened to what I had in mind, and thankfully told me what would or wouldn't work. He picked a beautiful quartz counter top, gave me options to choose from for the paint, faucet and hardware. He has a great team working for him. They were respectful and trustworthy. The refinished cabinets look like new. They do high quality work. He made his best effort to get things done within the time frame discussed but, as with any renovation, there were some unexpected issues that led to minor delays and affected cost. I really appreciated how his main concern was that I was happy with the end result. Due to unusual circumstances, we had a very tight timeline (see below for more details) so they were able to finish in 2 1/2 months. Overall, we are very happy with the end result and love our new, open layout! TL:DR version: - GREAT construction team/vendors and Fadil is the BEST project manager. Also the flooring contractor, Izec, is amazing. - Loved the design recommendations made by Shawn, like the floating shelves and bench by the window. - Pricing is competitive. Quality of work is fantastic. Designs are beautiful. - Area of improvement: better communication throughout the project. I had to be proactive and ask a lot of questions and follow up often. They offer both design and construction services, all under the same owner. This was convenient in that I only had to deal with one company and they took care of everything. Our project was unusual in that I was 6 months pregnant when we started the project. Typically, they don't start on construction until all materials are in stock but we needed to get things moving and completed quickly, so we ordered mostly standard sized and in-stock materials. The owner, Shawn, kept his promise on adhering to our timeline to the best of his ability, even as we ran into challenges with plumbing, structural, and electrical. His team worked tirelessly--even on weekends--to meet our deadline, without sacrificing quality or details. With any major construction, nothing is flawless. The one challenge I had, which may be unique to my circumstance, was getting proactive updates and just overall communication. At times, the construction team didn't even know what they were working on. Some of the designs didn't match the materials ordered. There was some miscommunication on which materials we were responsible for vs. what they would get for us. These were minor issues that eventually got resolved but it did cause me some stress and unrest. Highly recommend being proactive, with any big construction project, and staying close to the details... At the end of the day, despite some bumps, we now have our dream kitchen! And it was completed in record time! Last but not least, if you're told that any materials are "stuck" at the Oakland port, GET SOMETHING ELSE that's in stock. There is no ETA on when things will get unloaded at the dock...could be weeks or even months.

We were excited to work with them as their tile and vanity selections looked great in the showroom…read more When we received the tiles it was completely different from what we had selected. The samples we liked in the store didn't match the final delivered product. The color was off and the texture was just a print. Not the sample we had seen. Also, I would be very careful going to Porcelanosa, their quality seems good in the store but when you get the final product at home, it is not that great for the price you pay. The stone-looking tiles have a blur pattern that is fake and stamped on and that is not what we saw on the sample in the store. On bringing this up to the team at PORCELANOSA, they said that their batches can vary in color. This was also not told to us when we went to buy the tiles. We wanted our floor tile to be light and the walls to be darker. We ended up having the floor and the wall tiles look the same. The Vanity also was not constructed well. The doors would not align straight. And the customer service is not very good. Not helpful and pleasant to work with. The return instructions we not clear and the whole process was a very bad experience. And they don't provide pickup of the damaged items. You have to arrange for the large vanity pickup yourself pay their shipping fee or take it back yourself. Upon complaining multiple times they agreed to pick up the defective vanity for us. I will not be going there again.
