Once the work commenced Arturo and his fantastic team were an absolute pleasure to work with. They always arrived on time, and were both proactive and thoughtful throughout the remodel process. What a great experience I had with the staff at Palazzo. The majority of my dealings were with the owner, Felipe. Talk about patience and being there for me for every decision. I've never done a re-model of any kind and I had a great experience tearing out my 1/2 bath and replacing with new flooring and vanity from Palazzo. Overall the cost for everything was very comparable to other establishments, yet I was able to pick out exactly what I wanted (custom vs. pre-fab). When we entered, the man sitting behind the desk did not not acknowledge us so I asked if was ok if we look around and he replied 'yes' and went back to what he was doing. He was very attentive to our requests, was able to give us the best price, also was able to process our complicated order in a timely manner. Also he was promptly replying to all my emails. We ordered 3 countertops (one of them was a large multilevel unit with 2 vanities), 4 built in vanities, 4 faucets. The warehouse has a good selection of materials, vanities and faucets, prices are very reasonable. We waited a few years to get our Master's bathroom renovated because #1, only me and my husband sees it, #2 - there were other projects in the house that needs prioritizing, and #3 - the expense of it needs a lot of mental, emotional and financial preparation. This bathroom was originally built in 1987. The toilet would overflow if you did a number 2 (Ewww - T.M.I.) and the plumbing under the sink started leaking for how long, I'm not even sure, but the wood shelves underneath started rotting. Finally, after a thorough research we picked the best in our area. The Palazzo Kitchen and Bath did an excellent job in transforming our shower and vanity counters into a hotel like bathroom. The process from the concept of the project till the final touches was smooth sailing. They have an interior designer ( Kirstie) which was provided by Palazzo and is complimentary. They have a project manager (Art), that is consistently overseeing the project weekly. And their workers are so courteous and super skillful ( Great job to Andres, Christian and Jorge!). Communications are constant so nothing was a surprise for us. I would say that the price that was quoted to us is fair for the amount of attention and work skill that they have provided to us. Believe me when I say that I've had horrible experiences from my previous projects but I'm not incline to ruin anyone's source of living. We are just here to attest our genuine appreciation of the finest work that the Palazzo Kitchen and Bath has provided for us. I can't begin to say how pleased I am with the entire process of working with this company. From beginning to end I genuinely felt my business mattered to them. They protected the hallways of my building the entire time they were working on this job and vacuumed the building hallways and the work area every night. The dust in the remaining 2/3rds of my home was truly kept to a minimal with a plastic work shield and zippered partition. Every single member of the construction crew that worked on my job was extremely polite and asked my opinion on all intricate details. It became my pleasure to make coffee for them every morning and donuts once a week to say thank you to them for all of their hard quality work. Some of the crew were so good in fact that I felt compelled to give them significant cash rewards for their hard work, also known as tipping. I believe he judged us as soon as we walked in because we are African Americans. Short story: My husband and I entered this business looking for bath & kitchen tile, fixtures and flooring for home we are building. The gray haired gentleman sitting behind the counter said with a scoured look on his face (no smile) can I help you. He never moved or stood up etc. I then proceed to tell him we are building a new and looking for many things. We were there 20 minutes and we saw 4 people working and not one of them asked if they could help us. No other customers were present that I could see. I stripped my kitchen, living room, laundry room and guest bathroom down to boards and built back from scratch. I also had my fireplace box built up and the face retiled. Early last November, I happened upon Palazzo Kitchen and Bath Store in Concord quite by chance. Thinking they were just a tile store, I walked in and found a small but beautiful show room with lots of choices of floor and wall tile, faucets, sinks, cabinets, mock-ups of bathrooms and kitchens and much more. I was greeted by Jerry Johnson, contractor and interior designer. He set me up for an appointment where we talked at length about what to expect. I liked that they did not start the project until they had all of the materials physically in their warehouse so that the client does not sit in a house under construction any longer than necessary as they wait for materials to be delivered. I also liked that they had such an impressive array of kitchen/bathroom items, a cornucopia of beautiful choices for me all in one store. If I did not find something I liked, I was welcome to purchase it someplace else and Palazzo would install it. Most everything I chose came from Palazzo. Their stock was quality and sumptuous. Over the next couple of months, and with much input and education from Jerry, I made my choices. Jerry then wrote a detailed and inclusive bid and the final cost was not much more than projected. Two other companies bid the work but not the supplies. I chose Palazzo. I liked Jerry. He was there for every step of the planning process, and to a lesser degree, the work stage. I had a lot of questions as this project was a first for me and I like to understand the how and why of things. Our personalities were nothing alike. But once I realized Jerry knew what he was talking about and once he understood that I needed him to listen to me and to explain when I asked, we developed a compatible working relationship where I felt comfortable to say what was on my mind.This was crucial for me. I expected a start date in March, but I guess I took too long in choosing my things so I got a start in early May. And there was also a wait for workmen to be freed up from earlier projects (everybody was remodeling during the pandemic!!) But once the project started, it pretty much zipped along seamlessly. Palazzo projected 12 weeks, it took 15 weeks. The shining stars in this whole process were the two men who got assigned to my house, the brothers, Leo and Alex. I can't say enough about these two. Extremely professional. Fabulous work ethic (as soon as the front door opened in the morning, minutes later I heard hammers and sawing and work being done inside my house!) Reliable and responsible. I can't think of a question I put to them that they could not answer. I can't think of anything that I asked them to do, that they wouldn't or couldn't do. Their work product was exemplary. They left each day, with a house and a garage that was vacuumed and all their workmen stuff were put away. Not only that, but they were fun. And funny. And kind. And respectful-to me and my home. And to my pets. I actually missed them when the job was complete. There were some other workmen that would come in from time to time in their place and they were good too. Arturo, Cesar, Edwin, Ezekiel. Palazzo hires excellent workmen. But Leo and Alex were top notch. If you brothers read Yelp, thank you for making a project that initially made me anxious and a bit scared, thank you for making the project fun. Each day I came home was like Christmas. Something new to get excited about!! Art was my project manager. He too was excellent. Very responsive to my texts, returning answers in a timely manner. I tried to keep my questions to a minimum but I'm sure I failed on that!! Dropped by the job site often just to make sure things were going smoothly. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Jorge, the tile man, was a craftsman. Did beautiful work and I had chosen some very delicate tile. Juan, the smiling man that came by my house and picked up the bags of garbage generated from the job so my house was not cluttered. I have to say that Palazzo is a class act. I felt like I was in good hands. I never felt worried about anything. I learned a lot. About my own home and about building. My project was costly but I feel like I got what I paid for. The cabinets are no different from ones I see at Granite Expo where I ended up going back to ( no-frills place, but good vanities and quartz/marble countertops), but Palazzo had nice beautiful cabinets too. I liked Palazzo's set-up where they showed kitchen cabinets and bathrooms were very nice there. They were weeks out if not months to do work, so I knew this place would not work for me as I needed a bathroom back in commission soon. Otherwise, I would have considered this place if I wasn't in a hurry to remodel the bathroom since down one bathroom and the kids were using mine! I do not feel qualified to give 5 stars based on just looking around and not using their services, so my review/stars were based on just me looking around and not actual work being done which looks like they do a beautiful job based on their yelps and their showroom. When I am ready to do my master's bathroom, I will definitely come back because I like an all-in-one-stop shop and hopefully, the remodeling craze going around will die down a bit so I can get it done and I will then update my stars! I also like that I saw an area in the back where they actually cut the quartz or marble material, so some of the work can be done in-house and possibly be custom made to your specifications (I have weird shaped/size vanities and countertops that were custom made for an angled wall so that is important to me).
