Cute little ice-cream place! So many flavors and who doesn't LOVE a little Häagen-Dazs?!! It was not very busy when we arrived, no lines ... yay! The service was good and the facility was clean! There's plenty of seating, or take it to go! They offer several flavors; you're sure to find one you love! It's a little pricey (for ice-cream) but #WhenInVegas, right? When they dip, you dip, we dip! (haha - couldn't resist!)

Located in the upper level entrance to New York New York Hotel and casino, Hagen-Dazs has a kiosk. The workers are really nice and on a warm Las Vegas evening their products all but sell themselves. I grabbed a shake and it was delicious! My only warning is that it is located on The Strip and as such the prices are a bit inflated - so just be prepared!

For dessert we stopped here.... Only one person I front of us yay. Completely perfect for the weather lol. Not a lot of options but just what we wanted. Great customer service!

How does this place have zero reviews? How does any business in Vegas have zero reviews? Let's get the party started. Full disclosure. I just ordered a water. Customer service was friendly and the staff did a good job keeping the line moving. This place has some awesome looking ice cream treats. Definitely keeping this place on my radar. It's conveniently located on the second floor right before the walkway leading to Excalibur.

Nothing makes a more fitting dessert after a hot dog than ice cream! I had finished a great hot dog and was now ready for some chocolate chip ice cream! It's not that I needed the extra calories as my Dr was saying I need to lose weight. The good news was the single dip in a cup was smaller than the regular servings back home. It was also significantly more expensive than back home. Thus, my wallet lost weight and that should count, right? There are some small tables and seats nearby with access to electrical outlets so you can feed your phones! Service was okay from some folks not really wanting to be there, but we were kind of early and rushed them. The ice cream was rock hard which made for some really crunchy chocolate chips.

These Haagen Dazs locations (there are two...) are so very well placed in the New York New York casino along the walkway that connects the MGM Grand and the Excalibur. That's because as you are staggering with your yard-long bong decanter sipping your rum daiquiri, you probably need a place to sit to avoid a potential altercation with a band of no-neck truckers raging drunk from their gambling losses. And yet, they know all the lyrics to the Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling". Mazel Tov! Anyway, Jamie W. and I ducked in here after sauntering the Strip because we wanted something sweet and transportable. I frankly don't remember what he had since the people-watching is pretty intense in Vegas. Otherwise bland and boring people get all dressed up in outfits ill-suited to their frames, especially when you see gold lame micro-minis wrapped around a pair of tree trunks. I was enjoying a $6.95 Bailey's Irish Cream Milk Shake with a mound of whipped cream and chocolate shavings. I wonder if the calories will stay in Vegas, too. ICE CREAM - 4 stars...no arguing Haagen Dazs ice cream on a Vegas-saturated night AMBIANCE - 2.5 stars...just a little shop with three little tables, no time to loiter when there are slots calling your name SERVICE - 3 stars...pretty efficient when you think about the variety of humankind that must come in here TOTAL - 4 stars...oh why not?...it's about being in the right place at the right time after all

This place makes a phenomenal small banana split Sunday. Picture perfect, and was delish. Better than some of the other Haagen Dazs locations.

Snickerdoodle and brownie cookie with cookie pieces and butter pecan ice cream. Delicious.

The matcha parfait was good with a nice creamy texture and flavoring. However, I have one complaint. When coming with two others where we are lactose sensitive and with one having an allergy to oats, they wanted to try the matcha latte's and we asked if they can make with almond milk . The female worker said they don't have almond milk and only do oat or whole milk which was odd, and I asked again to confirm and was told no. They ended up having to do whole milk despite being lactose intolerant and was bothered. I look through here from comments by the owner saying that they CAN substitute with almond milk, which is confusing and a little annoying that we were told they don't substitute almond milk and was never told a reason why. That's one complaint for those who might be allergic to oat milk or are lactose sensitive: There is barely any option to accommodate and for that I give three stars. I probably would not come back again nor recommend because of the lack of accommodation for those who cannot have oat/almond milk. However despite that it is good to try once.

Restrooms were really clean and had the same style decor too, so I appreciated that attention to detail. However, I docked 2 stars since I couldn't order anything. I arrived at 939pm, looked at the menu and decided on a slice of the Ube Crepe cake and one of the Apple Cinnamon macarons. They don't close until 10pm and people were still coming in, and there were still plenty of people sitting in the restaurant, but the staff didn't let me order anything at 945pm saying that she doesn't take any more orders after 930pm. What?!?! What the hell? You're open for a whole 30 more minutes and don't want to take my money - am I hearing that right? My friend had cash on him, and he was willing to pay cash if that's less of a hassle, and still no. It's not even to-go only, it was a flat-out no, before their 10pm closing time. THAT IS CALLED CRAP SERVICE. However, the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 stars is because one anonymous employee who witnessed that go down changed my perspective of this spot. This person asked me not to reveal their identity on my Yelp review out of fear of getting in trouble. They overheard me trying to order but got turned away, then pointed to the macaron in a box in the fridge on display right there to my friend. So as I was walking towards the bathroom, this person (different than the girl who rudely turned me away) apologized for what happened and gave me the apple cinnamon macaron as a gift. That was so sweet of them. The macaron was absolutely perfect too, it was delicious - the perfect texture of the macarons, apple filling, in the center between the cream, with the crunch from I think they were dried apple bits on the side of the cream - amazing!!! But still insanely Vegas tourist trap rip off overpriced with the macaron that person gave me worth $8.35/piece. Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, CA or Durian Macarons at Sweet Mood in Westminster, CA, still keep their also delicious macarons under $5 each while having cute decor/ambiance (I'll admit they're not as impressive and unique as this spot though). But they're essentially banking on tourists not knowing any better and what things should actually be worth/gouging tourists as much as they can. Essentially, you're paying for the ambiance. Definitely not paying for the crap service. Food is good, but not astronomically priced good - you're kidding yourselves. You may be able to get away with stuff like that if you're inside one of the luxurious casinos on the Strip, like Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc. But especially being off-strip, get a reality check. I may come back (thanks to your anonymous employee's kind gesture giving me that macaron), but it's more just to show my parents the cool ambiance.

There was a time when I came almost every week,…read moreand whenever my friends had birthdays, I would preorder their cakes here because I genuinely love the quality of the desserts. My family and I have supported Suzuya since the very beginning, when the first location opened on Durango. We've watched the business grow over the years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, today's visit was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I ordered a breakfast crepe, a curry cheese sandwich, a mango mochi, and a whole cake. The breakfast items were served without any fork or knife. When I asked for utensils, there was no effort to provide them. The mango mochi was also served without utensils. When I politely asked the staff member wearing the mask for a fork, she simply replied, "You don't need utensils." That response honestly surprised me. Mango mochi is sticky and messy to eat by hand. It wasn't about the fork itself--it was the complete lack of willingness to provide even the most basic customer service. The bigger issue was when I purchased a birthday cake for a friend. I was told there were no bags available for a 6-inch cake. However, I saw other customers receiving bags. I even asked, "If I buy two more cakes, making it three cakes total, would you be able to give me a bag? I only have two hands." The answer was still no. That response simply made no sense. What made the experience even more upsetting was how I was treated because I had my service dog with me. My dog is a professionally trained service dog--not a pet. He remained calm throughout the entire visit. He never barked, never approached anyone, never disturbed other customers, and simply laid quietly beside me. Despite that, I was questioned about whether he was a service dog, whether he had a service vest, and then told that because I had my service dog with me, we would have to sit outside. I found this extremely disappointing. My dog was behaving exactly as a trained service dog should, yet I was still directed outside solely because he was with me. I sincerely hope the staff receive proper training on how to respectfully interact with customers who rely on service animals. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. After being directed outside because of my service dog and then repeatedly being refused basic accommodations that should have been simple to provide, it became difficult not to question whether my service dog influenced the way I was treated. I truly hope that wasn't the case, but it certainly felt that way. This isn't just my opinion anymore. Many friends have shared the same experience with me over the years: the cakes are excellent, but the customer service is consistently disappointing. People return because the desserts are amazing--not because of the hospitality. Sadly, it often feels like there's no warmth or genuine care for customers. I've always heard wonderful things about Mike, and from what I've seen, he seems like a genuinely kind person. I can't help but wonder how he would feel if he knew loyal customers were leaving with experiences like this. I'm usually not someone who complains or leaves negative reviews. It takes a lot for me to write something like this. But after years of supporting this business, I believe this experience needed to be shared. Suzuya truly makes fantastic desserts, and that's exactly why this review is so disappointing for me to write. Great products should never be an excuse for poor customer service. Loyal customers deserve to feel welcomed, respected, and appreciated--not dismissed.
