Vdara was perfect but the Vdara market cafe not so much. The employee working when I visited seemed like he just hated being there and it showed. From the start of the transaction to the end. I would say this would be a good option if you just wanna grab something quick to eat, but the service was actually so slow. There's no system if you want to have your food heated up, so you just wait on the side until they call your food. But they somehow forgot about my order, and then when it was done heating up, gave it to someone who had ordered after me. I could tell the workers felt bad so I'm not really mad at them but they really need to figure all of this out because it wasn't even busy at the time. The coffee at this place is hit or miss. I had a mocha one day and it was pretty good. I had one another day, made by the same person, and it was absolutely terrible. The Starbucks 50 feet away is a better option as long as the line isn't down to the Bellagio. They also have sandwiches and other items for purchase (beer, snacks, etc.). I am so glad this place open 24 hours. We have been staying at the Vdara for a few days now. We went to this cafe yesterday early morning around 450am to buy food prior to our Grand Canyon tour. We enjoyed the raspberry cheesecake and I liked the breakfast burrito. The parfait was a bit too sour and watery for my liking and it's just a bit too expensive. The service was nice and the location is on the lobby next to a Starbucks. Vdara is known to be a hotel on the strip that is non-smoking and with no casino. Complimentary valet and a cafe that is open 24/7. This market is small, but offers most of the basics in toiletries, beverages, and food. You'll have things like energy drinks, sparkling water, coconut water, juice, bottles of alcohol, chips, ice cream, frozen meals, sandwiches, coffee, yogurt, deodorant, condoms, medicine, etc. The main bar has a menu of food and other drinks one can order and there are tables to dine there or take it back with you to your suite or on the go. There was an outlet by the table I sat down at while I waited for my order one day. I had the avocado turkey wrap, iced coffee, watermelon Red Bull, grapefruit juice, and had to buy emergency deodorant cause I accidentally left mine at home :(. Honestly, if you have a car, I would stop by the Walgreens nearby to see if the price is cheaper. Wouldn't be surprised if deodorant was $9 for a normal brand these days, but usually specialty ones are higher. While grapefruit juice sounded good and refreshing, I was reminded on how I don't think I actually like the taste of grapefruits, ha. The Red Bull was a nice touch. I appreciate how the limited flavors they had contained of a selection of good flavors such as watermelon. Being that all rooms here are suites, you're likely to have a refrigerator and microwave inside thus, bringing these items back with you to your room is very convenient. The employees I interacted with during my stay were all very kind humans. The place itself was kept clean, the line was never super long while I was there, and there were plenty of open tables and chairs. Really nice place after a long night / morning returning back from somewhere you may have been and want to pick something up before heading back upstairs. The concept is excellent. The execution is not. This is microwave or prepackaged food items. This is one of the 3 places to dine, purchase products or food based items at VDara. I initially purchased a burger and it was expensive and not worth the cost, at all. It tasted very much like a vending machine burger. It lacked flavor and had an odd texture. My next purchase was the croissant. While it looked amazing, the taste was bland and dry. I also purchased a small can of chips, they were stale upon opening. This was within 2 days of my trip. I decided on day 2 , I could make no further purchases on good conscious. It would be a waste of money, what a odd revelation for someone vacationing in Vegas! But the cashier kept repeating himself saying it had gluten. So, the cake had been -mislabeled- as gluten free for the entire day. In the past, I would not leave such a low review of the Market Cafe. I've had breakfast there a few times and have grabbed a salad many times. Everything I had was fine. Until last Saturday night. Before Saturday I would have rated them a 3.8. They are a really great grab and go and make awesome breakfast burritos. Last Saturday night, I decided to get their bento box with sushi. I figured sine Vdara is 4 or 4.5 star hotel that the food would be decent and definitely safe. When i was eating, I knew the sushi wasn't made right there, but I ate it anyway. Fast forward to Sunday morning. I went out casino hopping. I walked from Vdara to Harrah's. When walking back, I stopped at the Cromwell and was feeling a bit hot and bloated. I decided to head back to my room via the Bellagio. I went up the escalators from Cromwell to find they were all broken, going any direction. There was a huge crowd of people going up and down the stairs. Like body to body. After 15 minutes in that mess, I made my way into the Bellagio. I was feeling hotter and more uncomfortable. I had to sit down. I started playing a machine and that is when the wave hit me. I walked really fast to the nearest bathroom and of course, there was a line! There were stalls in the back but there were two ahead of me. Finally one opened up, I tried to run to that stall, but a very big woman blocked me with her presence and I just lost it on the Bellagio bathroom floor and all over my coat!! I finally made to a stall. I was mortified! And embarrassed. I felt so ashamed. When i got myself together, I apologized to the bathroom attendant and tipped her generously. Somehow, I made it back to my room at Vdara without an incident, but once in the room I was sick all night. I had to check out the next day. I couldn't keep anything down. Yesterday morning, I woke up still sick and had no energy. I would pack something , then have to lay down. It NYE now. I'm a bit better but don't crave my favorite foods and I can't even think about drinking. The moral of this story: DO NOT EAT THE BENTO BOX FROM THE VDARA MARKET CAFE!! LIKE EVER! The folks here at Market Cafe in the lobby of the Vdara main hotel floor deliver the delicious goods. After days with Lamarco Prosecco, Veuve Clicquot Brut, or Michelle Extra Dry. These beautiful sparkling passion is delicious going in but days and days of champagne leave one lagging. Until now! Knowing that I need to cleanse from all my chaos last night the salad choices here are amazing in the small selections they offer. Having a small place for raw veggies is one of my secret passions when I eat them. The raw veggies provide the highest nutrients and they taste so delicious. I had the Raw Power Salad which is packed just as advertised. The veggie mix is only raw with a small slice of red lettuce on the side. What comes on this masterpiece one might ask? It's packed with only the freshest cabbage, radishes, cucumber, red bell pepper, and green beans. Red grapes are sliced in half to give it that sweet flavor combination. What a lovely concoction of such delicious favorite all in the raw, with Basalmic dressing. The dressing comes mixed in so ask to have it on the side; they will do this for the guest . All those veggies in the raw with sweet red grapes does not even taste like a salad! The red of those bell peppers and those grapes together are delicious. What a wonderful way to build one's strength and fulfill my vitality. Yay! It's incredible all those raw veggies adding back what I did yesterday! Goodbye sweet champagne, here's to my health with raw delicious veggies. Fresh fruit always help with rehydration so the side of fruit was a delicious addition to the salad. The fresh fruit side is quite a large portion of all sorts of things melon! These melons include cantaloupe, honeycomb melon, watermelon, and even some pineapple. What a refreshing mix to revive the cells? After eating this fantastic fruit flavor combination it left me relaxed and ready for my next adventure on the strip! I have so much energy right now. It's the last day here and needing something delicious for breakfast that will keep me going all day. Needing carbs today I decided to have avocado toast with a delicious egg. They have so many different additions and add ons. Ordering an individual add on side of avocado was incredible sounding. The avocado toast was amazing. The avocado as a side and on the toast was yummy. The toast was a wheat base. The egg was cooked perfectly and I added pepper to it since it's my thing. Highly recommend any of the dishes with avocado here. They cut everything in house and plate it so beautifully. Each morning I enjoyed a cappuccino with almond milk. The Espresso here is done on a press so you know that the cappuccino is smooth. Sure their is a Starbucks next door but the richest coffee smells are coming from here at the cafe not Star. The cappuccino is so smooth that nothin is needed except a chair to relax in. Work calls to me now so I have to take mine to go! The service here as one sits and enjoys food in the cafe portion is of the highest quality. While it might seem low key it's not. The silverware is wrapped with linens and the treatment from the staff is so incredible. The warmth and happiness in the employees is so genuine. I eat very slow and many times my waiter came over and offered to replace my raw veggies salad. He thought that I did not like it. Continuing to put his mind at ease I eat a little more often, but the genuine warmth from the staff is much appreciated. Never really have I experienced such a truly commitment on the values that the staff here conveys. The ethical beliefs are truly incredible. If we all cared just a little more wouldn't the world be a more wonderful happy place. Yay, but cruel reality it's not! The Espresso is always strong and each latte is adorned with a loving mark that you can taste and see. Lattes and Cappuccinos with decor, you had me at the smells! Come for the coffee and stay for the ambiance and service that is incomparable. Whether you are needing that bagel or croissant and cappuccino this is where you come claim it! I purchased a turkey wrap with mayo/mustard and a ceasar salad and a sub. I was hungry after a long flight on Monday. The food was very fresh and delicious. It was $16 dollars for a pre-made Vege burrito.. that only had egg and potato inside of it. Even though on the display menu it described in differently. There is no eggs Benedict, there is no griddle.. just don't come here having any high expectations. It is just convenient.
