Here are a few few things we noticed: - When I made the reservation, I had seen a picture in Yelp that made it look like the outdoor seating was in a front patio but beware because that is the patio of another restaurant and the entrance to Atmosphere is next to it. While it was comfortable inside, specify the outdoor Terrace if at all possible because that is along the river and is very beautiful. - My wife ordered from one of the two fixed price menus, but I decided to order à la carte, which is definitely more expensive. - My wife started with the Alpine salad, which was very delicious. I got the French onion soup, which is supposedly one of their specialties, but I just found it average. - For a main courses, I got the beef tenderloin with seared fois gras... it was amazingly! My wife got the hotbox cheese and liked it well enough. - For her, the highlight of the meal was probably the blueberry tartlet. I got a trio of sorbets which were also very fresh and good. - Service was very very good. And the atmosphere is cozy and warm inside. Service was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable (especially of wines, cheeses, and dish ingredients). They were very accommodating of group member who is no fish/seafood. The service did miss the mark in a couple of places (no bread plates throughout meal so we were literally eating our bread and cheese off the table when we didn't have an entree plate, no wine parings, and sommelier was knowledgeable but a little bossy.). When we spoke with our server about the long wait, she didn't acknowledge that it was a problem. Instead, she apparently went to the chef to inform him of this and chaos ensued. When he came out into the dining room, we thought that he would apologize for the delay. What a shock it was that instead of doing so, he start loudly berating us in front of the entire dining room for not understanding how French restaurants worked and that we should not have ordered the tasting menu if we didn't expect to have to wait. He treated us like we were uncouth and ignorant. (Mind you that we have traveled all around the world and have been to innumerable Michelin starred restaurants). He was so aggressive that my husband was preparing to have to physically defend me. We wound up just paying the bill and leaving without finishing our meal. We have NEVER had an experience like this in any restaurant. It was disturbing and I felt UNSAFE and THREATENED by the chef. I would hope that the managers of this hotel/restaurant address this issue seriously. Do not come to this restaurant if you expect to be treated with respect. It does not matter what the food tastes like or the view that you have. What matters is the bad taste in your mouth when you leave here.

The pasta nice creamy plus egg yolk mixed it in was heavenly. Heavy dish with all cream and egg yolk but filling. Raclette. That was star of the show. I got try bit from someone else. Start the presentation was wow! I never seen anything like that before in life. The whole charcoal tower, quarter of Raclette cheese rind, beautiful spread of deli meats and more together with cheese, and move cheese close to tower it melts cheese on plate. It was amazing! It's definitely more of a locals restaurant than the tourist heavy spots you see on the main avenues and thus is a more traditional French restaurant. We loved the ambiance, service, food and the fairly priced wine list. Foie Gras, Escargot, Onion Soup, Veggies, Scallops and Steak were all perfectly prepared. I speak a little French but they will speak English graciously and never treated us like the tourists we were. One of our favorite meals on the Alps vacation. Highly recommended!!
