We ended up stopped on the highway because who knows why and the nibblings conveniently needed to go to the bathroom. This rest area is super sketch. The restrooms are terrible and creepy. Definitely decor from the 80s/90s. They are that type of dirty that isn't dirty but clean enough to use in a bind. The only saving grace is there is a sign announcing renovations in the future. Stop if you absolutely have to. I-65 MM 133 Rest Area I-65 Greenville, AL 36037 (Review 581 overall, 125 in 2021)

This is a no-frills place to stop. It has the essentials... restrooms. Also, there are pet walks and a sanitation dump for RVs. Outside the small building, there are picnic tables under tall trees. Surprisingly, during normal business hours there is a staff member at a small information booth inside the building. We made a mental note to add this to our list of safe, clean places to stop between Mobile and Montgomery when driving north on I-65. About Exit 130

This was a crappy rest stop! Wood paneling and all... the pet area is in a dumb inconvenient area on a hill... and the line for the bathrooms was out the door because it's such a small rest stop.

Clean. Easy in easy out. Picnic tables. Safe. Good place to take a break. We had lunch at the picnic table and spent sometime in the sun.

Outside of the rest area building there are picnic tables and a pet walk for animals to relieve themselves. This rest area gives the semblance of safety because it is bright, well lit at night and clean. I will continue to stop here on my travels on I 65.

Do not recommend those, however the restrooms are very clean & tidy. And we have stopped two weeks in a row & they have been very clean & tidy both times. The outside is a very large green space. A parklike area with some very pretty pavilions dotted with picnic areas. Pets are not allowed in the pavilion/eating areas. There are some designated areas for pets, but not at the pavilions. It's also very minimalistic outside as well. There are some shady pine trees but no flowering shrubs, flowerbeds etc., very minimal shrubbery, plain, very simple borderline boring scenery, but very well maintained. The next exit/stop is "Evergreen" only 4 miles up the highway with tons of Fast food chains, restaurants, shopping etc., There is even a very cool fenced in pet area to walk your pets at the local Conecuh sausage factory up at the Evergreen exit, just FYI. Safe Travels.
